LG G3 spigen slim armor case - G3 Accessories

I need a case for my G3 and I am considering the Spigen Slim armor case. Any reviews on the Spigen Slim Armor Case?

Before you post search please. There are many posts on this case. Look in the G3 cases OP, I also wrote a review on it and some others. I'll try to post the link to the cases OP.
Edit:
Here us the main case OP which has plenty of info on this case.

I left my review on Amazon. In short, it's great.

The only problem:
Two different models with or without gap for antenna.
Had to send mine back to amazon because they send me the Korean model with the ugly gap.
Apart from that the case looks great.

There are some reviews on Youtube. I ordered mine today, but paid a higher price since it's not available in my country. Seems like one of the best quality cases out there.

I dropped my G3 from a height of about 2 feet onto a tile floor (fell out of my shirt pocket) with the Spigen Slim Armor case on. It landed on the "Air Cushion Corner" and cracked the screen rendering it mostly useless. Aside from that, the finish on the back showed wear from day one and looks pretty bad after a few weeks.
Spigen offered to refund the cost of the case so their customer service is fine, but I'm not trusting the Slim Armor for my G3 when I get it back from repair.
Could just be a crazy incident and maybe a rare occurrence, but I wanted to share anyway. Moral of the story, don't drop your phone.

I've dropped mine more times than I'm proud of and it hasn't broken my phone. Also it does show wear, but I think it was a fluke for your phone to break. It even fell down the stairs when I was going to my engineering class and my phone is perfect. The case has done scratches, but it could be because of my tempered glass screen protector which is also fine. I've never had any phone break in these cases but that's just me. I think it'd a good case in fact I have 2 of them and its my favorite case. Individual results may vary.

I've had about 6 Spigen cases over the years and they have all been fantastic except Slim Armor for the G3. Mine was defective and had to send it back. Mine did not fit tight around the phone and it would come off every time I would take it out of my pocket. I'm sure mine was a isolated problem because their cases have always been great. I'm hoping they make a tough armor.

Ya I think mine was a fluke, but it still blew my mind that the phone broke on the first drop like that. Freak accident I guess. I dropped my last LG phone countless times over 2 1/2 years and it never broke. Just one of those things I guess.

I've always read great things about Spigen so that's why I chose it for my G3. The intial impression of fit and finish was great, but the excessive wear on the painted plastic back is what turned me off. I'm just used to a full TPU case is all.

The back on mine isn't painted it's the color of the plastic. The scratches match the cases color which makes then less noticeable, however, or still sucks that it does scratch much easier than a TPU case.

Maybe it is color specific then. I got the metal slate and it was a painted on color that showed white under every scratch.

Case has damaged phone more than being nekkid would...

Ok, I am kinda peeved right now. I bought a Diztronic TPU case shortly after purchasing my Note 2. The thing is just so slippery it screamed for grippy rubbery case. Fast forward a couple months and here I am taking my case off to clean out any dust inside it, only to find tiny pock marks all over the back of my phone. I swear it looks like a few grains of sand or something got in there, but I can feel nothing. I can only conclude even fine dust particles can scratch the back if caught between the battery door and the TPU case. Pretty disappointed my case has done more damage than keeping my phone nekkid ever would have. I baby my gear and this thing now looks like &#!$ on the back.
Anyone else experience this? Any better kind of case I should use when I order my replacement back? Or do I just need to be better about cleaning out the case more than once every couple months?
Thanks...

I have had this issue too. I bought a cheap TPU case off of Amazon while I was waiting for my phone to come from VZW and put it on after I had pkayed with the phone for a day. When it went in the case it was perfect, a week after being in it the battery door has deep scratches, the chrome bezel around the camera is scratched badly and the chrome bezel around the screen is DENTED IN! The case actually covered the bezel around the screen so it wasn't something in my pocket that did it, it was something that magically got in and out of the case. And lemme tell you those scratches and dents are especially noticeable on the Titanium Note 2...
After that I ordered 2 CruzeLite TPU cases, or whatever they call their cases, and thise worked much much better, my phone got no more scratches and was pretty welly protected. I still wanted something a little better though because I was still scared that if I dropped it that it would get badly damaged so when the Urban Armor Gear case was finally released I bought it and couldnt be more happy.
The sides are a way thicker TPU rubbery type material and the back is hard plastic. It gives the phone a more sturdy feel, like you could drop it and barely worry about it getting damaged. The few times I have dropped it didnt hurt the phone or the case, it is a very welly built case and doesnt add much more bulk than the CruzerLite TPU cases did. I would definitely reccomend you try one if you like the way it looks, the black and orange look really snazzy in my opinion, but I have a thing for orange soo....

I'm anal about my gadgets too. But when you put the case back on, you won't see the pock marks. If it still bugs you, just replace the plastic battery cover. That is why I prefer plastic instead of an all-metal body. If the battery cover gets messed up, you can always get another one. You can't fix damage on an all-metal phone like the HTC One. Yes it's a beautiful device, but once it gets the first scratch or ding, it will never be the same. Just like the first door ding on a new car

I've had this issue with previous cases on other phones in the past but not this time. What I did is within the first hour of getting the phone I wrapped it in that sticky wrap that's cut for our phone that they sale on Amazon then I put it in the case. One the phone looks sick wrapped up and two if I ever wanna pull the wrap off I will have a brand new phone with not one single scratch. Cause I found over time plugging a phone in every night in the pitch black before you go to bed eventually scratches around the port but not this time.

Yeah I found replacement covers on Samsung's site for $20. I know there's cheaper alternatives but I am always wary of knock offs. The bigger bummer is the sides of the phone are jacked too and ya can't replace those. Sucks. I was hoping to sell the Note 2 when the Note 3 arrived, but my resale value just took a nose dive.

I bought the Incipio Case LGND and have no regrets. You can find it on their website here http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartp...-cases/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-lgnd-folio.html or spend a little less and buy it from Amazon. However, I'd pay the extra extra money because it comes with a screen protector, cloth and lifetime warranty if purchased directly from the manufacturer. I don't have any issues with debris getting in between the back cover of the phone and the case. The phone is easy to place into the case and take out.
Always clean your case. At least ecery other day. Sabd and little dust particle will eventually get in there no matter how tight your case is.
As for me, I put on Xtremeguard back protector since I had the white version. I figured I can always peel the back and get higher resale value.

How necessary is a case on the s4?

I am going to get a s4 soon, and I am wondering if I will need to get a case. Currently on the charge, and when I bought it I got the thicker case vzw offered. Within two weeks it was off, and I have used the phone naked ever since. I have dropped it countless times onto tile and concrete, and the only damage is a few scratches on the back cover and dents in the part of the bezel that extends past the screen (raised edge).
I have read that the s4 is quite fragile. Based on the above, should I get a case? If so, can I get the smallest one available, or should I opt for something bigger?

It's all going to be up to your personal preference. Based on what you said, I would highly recommend a case. The S4 is pretty damn fragile and it's just not worth the risk if you have a history of dropping your phone. As for the size of the case, that is going to be up to you. Obviously the smaller/minimal cases will offer less protection. I like as little bulk as possible so that's fine with me and I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid on my S4 right now. Also consider a screen protector (plastic, tempered glass, etc.). Costly purchases but worth the $250+ investment into your new phone imo. :good:
Dropped mine one time on flat tile from hip height and screen cracked and would not display an image.... Get a case.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I use a speck Candyshell and it doesn't add much bulk or weight to the phone at all, thats my recommendation. The smaller and light silicone cases just don't offer the kind of protection a hard case does. The Candyshells are on the more expensive side, but you can get them on Amazon cheaper than you can on Speck's website

How do you like that case? I have the white on order (as well as the glass screen protector) and was wondering if it looks as good as it does on Spigen's website.
If you're ever going to drop your phone than a case is a good idea.
If it doesn't offer protection to the four corners it's not worth it.
I saw a brand new GS4 dropped from waist height onto asphalt and it bent the metal rim around the screen and messed up the front facing camera.
The guy had a case on it, but it was a plastic sleeve with a stand that didn't cover the corners.
As far as screen protectors go I think they're a waste of money. The phone has gorilla glass. Unless you find yourself regularly working with materials that are actually hard enough to scratch the screen, it's just going to be another layer for glare and bubbling imperfections.
I had a Droid Charge for 2 years and only scratched it once, when I had some marble dust under my finger nail.
JIHAD MY BOI.
I currently have an Incipio DualPro Shine on my S4. Offers pretty decent protection without being stupid thick, like the otterbox.

Yeah I don't have any scratch problems and don't care about cosmetic damage. The main thing I'm worried about is functionality breaking, like screen shatter or sensor damage.

I found the phone without a case too slippery and knew it would be dropped. I got the urban armor gear case and love it. IMO it is the the best mix of protection, slimness, and cool factor

probably a good idea
I have a screen protector and a casemate toughcase on mine. A week or so ago I dropped the phone onto concrete from thigh level. I was scared as all could be that it would be cracked cause it sound like it hit hard, and it hit bottom first. Nothing happened luckily. I was wondering about the protection quality of that case, so far so good. It's a two piece case, and can be had for around 20 something bucks on amazon. I recommend getting a case.
I use a combination of a screen protector with the Spigen Slim Armor series case. Phone fits in it like a glove and adds very little bulk. I've dropped it a few times and it's survived with no issues. The case is a double layered rubberized with a plastic cover for looks, and it looks very sleek. It's worth checking out for sure. They're also on sale on Amazon for $14.99 at the moment, add a screen protector (also on sale for 6.99 and comes with 2) and some other random item and you can get the free shipping on orders over $25. Leaving you a link for the case and protector.
NOTE: When I added the protector to my cart and went to check out I noticed it added a iPhone 5 protector even though I was on the GS4 page, I had to remove and add a few times before it correctly showed the GS4 protector. Just a FYI.
EDIT: Well I can't post links because I'm under 10 posts. Sorry, they're just a quick Google search away though!
Get a case. I love having my phone naked, especially with my S4 because of how slim and lightweight it is - but therein lies the problem. I use an Otterbox Commuter case at work. Previously - while the Otterbox cases are good quality - I have refused to use them due to the bulk they add. However the S4's Commuter Otterbox case is fairly slim for a rugged protection case, so I decided to give it a go. It's really not bulky. The Defender on the other hand it way too much bulk for my taste.
I work in a transportation hub - around extra hard concrete floors, moving belts and machinery, metal grating docks, etc. - basically a rough environment. The first day I got the phone I went without a case, but with how slim and lightweight it is all I kept thinking was "I'm gonna drop it, it's gonna break, I'm gonna drop it, it's gonna break". So after work, I went and grabbed the Otterbox from my local Verizon store. I use it at work, and when I get home to my nice, soft, carpeted environment - I immediately take the case off.
A little over 2 weeks after I got it, I woke up and rolled over to check the time on my phone. It slipped out of my hands, fell about a foot and a half, and as it fell it hit against the metal rail on my bed (the frame that your mattress sits on) and landed on my carpeted floor. Grabbed it thinking it would be perfectly fine - it was a very short fall, it landed on carpet, and just grazed the rail. Took a look at it and the frame around the front of the phone, the faux metal one, had a huge gouge in it. I was very disappointed by this, but figured it was a freak accident. About a week ago, I got the Samsung Wireless charging pad for my phone. Set it up next to my bed, and as I was testing it out, I lifted one end of the charging pad while the phone was still on it, creating a slope. The Samsung Wireless Charging Pad doesn't have much of a grip to it, so it slipped off and made that same 1 1/2 foot fall from my bed to my floor, again grazing the metal rail on the way down. Again, I have another gouge in it. While this is a metal rail, it does not have any "sharp" edges to it. The edge itself is rounded, so it's gentler on objects that it comes in contact with, and it is covered by a bedskirt, again, helping to soften the blow should anything hit it.
Having learning my lesson (kind of) with the same freak accident happening with my phone hitting my bed in just to right way during a foot and a half drop (I have never dropped any of my previous phones...from my bed), I am looking into lightweight Carbon Fiber Skins to hopefully add a small layer of protection and sadly, I am resorting to also wrapping the bed frame in foam because I am stubborn and still refuse to use a case when I am not at work.
The point of this long drawn out story is that in my experience - as beautiful as this phone is, and as much of a shame as it is - I highly recommend a case of some sort. Unless you want to be like me and start padding the environment around you. The phone does not seem to handle falls well, even over short distances.
---------- Post added at 03:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:20 AM ----------
As an additional note, you don't need to go all out with a massively bulky case. I recommend something with dual layers though, the internal rubberized layer that helps absorb the shock from a fall and the outer plastic shell that protects against the dents/damage/etc.. While I have the Otterbox, I plan on making the jump to the Spigen Slim Armor Case, it looks much more beautiful than my Otterbox and slimmer too. I currently use their Glas.tR Screen Protector, having found that the glass gives it the naked feel that I love while still provided amazing protection for the screen. Their products really are top notch, high quality, slim, and don't take away from the aesthetic of the phone.

I really like the case so far. It adds a bit of bulk though on an already big phone so it can be a bit cumbersome at times to reach stuff on the screen with one hand (I have pretty small hands lol) but I think it looks great and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I had mine naked for a week and was scared, it slid out of my pocket at the gym a couple times but onto a rubber floor, so no damage...got tired of being careful and threw on an otterbox commuter..loving it, feels more sturdy and i dont have to worry about it.
had a commuter on my s3 and that thing hit the pavement a good 3-5 times from about 5-6 feet up, no damage at all
Don't Hesitate
After about a week and a half of fretting about dropping it, scratching it, or otherwise, I was very relieved when I finally broke down and got a case. I'm using a semi-thick plastic/silicon case from CruzerLite.com. It's well worth it, looks cool (I actually get a lot of questions and compliments on it's design), and it's quite functional. It also doesn't add a lot of bulk! CruzerLite.com, check it out!
I have not used a case yet don't like the extra thickness. I've dropped it pretty good a few times but only dented the metal. Guess I been lucky

I too had a Charge before my Galaxy 4. I had a silicon case and I still dropped it all the time. It once hit the pavement with such force that it opened and the battery fell out....it still worked. I cannot imagine this kind of resilience on the s4.
However, I found what I think is a great case - it is made by Speck - a very thin harder plastic with a rim to protect the screen AND some kind of rubber ribs all over the back and the sides so you have plenty of grip. I've not dropped the phone yet and I know this case is a good part of the reason. I have the crummy plastic screen cover from Verizon and will be putting a better one on in the next day or two. I got the Speck case at Best Buy but have also seen it at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Product...8-3&keywords=speck+case+for+samsung+galaxy+s4
http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Products-CandyShell-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00C27R8MM/ref=sr_1_3?
ie=UTF8&qid=1373786228&sr=8-3&keywords=speck+case+for+samsung+galaxy+s4
Then I was still left without a clip for the occasional times when I don't have a purse or pockets. I found a Nitze black foldover case with a clip in the back. It is made with elastic in the middle so you can carry your phone and credit cards. I cut out the elastic and am now able to fit the S4 WITH the Speck case still on it. (Sorry but I can't find a link for that case now).
Hope this helps. As you can tell, I really love the Speck and it comes in several colors.

note 3 ballistic sg maxx review

Received my sg case in the mail today review of what I recieved..upon opening the box I remembered why I haven't purchased a ballistic case in a while..it's the same product ive always expected..being that I'm a mechanical engineer I come into contact with plenty of dirt and dust..but being that a galaxy note has a stylus we will never be 100% dust an dirt proof..screen protecor seems like a nice idea bit it is quite thick and keeps the screen from being very responsive, clip seems to be made of better material than usual so I'm hoping it can withstand some use..rubber body corners protect from drops very well although the material seems to be pretty cheap these days and with just a few on and offs is going to stretch I can already tell..The outer she'll along with the runner body is going to protect your note 3 very well that I can say, rubber rockers are easily accessible and very easy to control, 3.5mm headset covet fits into place with rubber grommet, provides no protection for speaker and stylus so they are completely left exposed which is a downside with this case, I'm not feeling all of the exposed holes with this case so for that reason I am going to be looking for another case that is more contained. One thing i do like about this case is the rear camera protection, the camera is sunk pretty far into the case.If you are just looking for a clip with drop protection and you aren't going to be taking this on and off a lot then this is the easiest way to go
It's a good case until a few weeks from now when the rubber skin stretches out and no longer fits the phone tight. This is the main flaw in this case and the otterbox defender cases. Really too bad...

Never had any issues with Otterbox Defenders, but then again I always wear those big, rugged, army/swat cargo pants with huge pockets. The phone just drops in my pocket, I don't have to push it in. I guess it always depends on people's usage.
You know if the rubber gets stretched out and starts to not fit there's a trick about taking the rubber portion off and sticking it in a pot of boiling or very hot water for a minute or two will supposedly shrink the rubber back down to where it fits snug again at least in my experience with the otterbox defender cases.
I could see that's working..yeah I'm looking forward to the otterbox..I don't take cases off very often so I'm not worried about them getting stretched
Neither do I. Still waiting for the black version to be released. ..

^THIS 1000 TIMES. I see all the time people saying it stretches. Boiling WORKS.. maybe too well.
My case arrived today as well. I think the screen protector is thinner on this one than what was on my wife's S3 but the belt holsters clip rotates 360 degrees and I don't believe hers does.

Where and how are people getting these cases, they still "coming soon" from what I can see on ballistics site. I just got an email yesterday, the 29th, about the Shell Gel SG being available, only to learn that people have been ordering them since the 26th...
Looks nice! Last Ballistic case I owned was for the OG Evo 4G. I never had any problems with it stretching, or any Otterbox cases that I've owned for my last 4 phones. I don't wear skinny jeans, or even semi tight jeans for that matter, so maybe not having to push/pull it in/out of pockets has something to do with the fact that I haven't had any issues. Also, both Ballistic and Otterbox offer a lifetime warranty, so if the case ever does happen to stretch out over time you can get it replaced for free...

I've never had no problems with stretching of cases either but then again I don't constantly take the cases apart..I like the clip I hate sticking phones in my pocket at work..yeah they both have lifetime warranty and I haven't had problems with either whenever the clip breaks like they usually do LOL
Great case for people who drop there phone everyday.
If you happen to drop your phone once, the cost of the case is far less than the deductible. I learned this the hard way with my note 2.

yes sir I have a spigen. Tr slim tempered glass I prefer the tempered over the plastic oem ballistic protector it made the screen very unresponsive
How well does this case fit if the included SP layer is not installed?
I have the MIME glass protector installed with mine and there are no fitment issues at all.

Anyone go case free?

I have had spigen neo hybrid on my note 3 since I got it and yesterday I decided to take it off and it's like holding a new phone all over again... I have the tempered glass still on it and I'm loving the slimness of the device here's to hoping I don't have any accidents

Used to, but I recently had a miniature heart attack when my oldest cat saw my phone as a lovely new toy and tossed it off the table..... Now it doesn't leave my new Otterbox Commuter.

It fell on the thick carpet, but the table is almost 1.30m high, so I rather panicked.
I was case-less for the first week when I first bought my phone. Three days in, the darned thing slipped out of my hand and hit my stone floor from about three feet high. All I can say is that the metallic side lip of the phone crumples like paper mache upon impact.
Haven't gone case-less for more than a few minutes at a time since then.
I like case free feel of phones but i dont want to hurt them.
I have always used a gel silicone case and all my phones felt pretty much the same.
I got the note 3 and use just just a bumper. It stops the sides from getting messed up and takes a small impact.
MY girl has a bumper and silicone case. She was switching between them and just ended up going a few days without the case. She likes it but was scared the side would get all messed up so put the bumper back on.
I had just got my note 3 and I was on a lookout for cases. Within a day i spilled drops of water and cold drink (thank goodness i had got screen protector earlier). Plus the big size of phone makes it easy to be slipped, so ordered the Samsung S-View case for it's quality and functionality.

That's not a quality case, just an expensive one. The similar one from spigen is much better.

Can't get spigen in India. Checked Ebay and Amazon and only quality product was OEM Samsung.
Also checked international shipping for spigen case, the cost was almost doubled and if chip goes bust, I'm skeptical they'll send a replacement chip internationally.
With Samsung I'll have peace in my mind:angel:
I go case free - I have most of the life of all my phones. I just can't stand how much thicker the Note 3 gets with a case - like holding a brick. It feels much better in my hands without a case. Yeah, I might regret it someday, but I get much more enjoyment out of a caseless Note 3. I tried, trust me I tried - I have sitting next to me a Spigen Neo Hybrid case. Yeah, it's a really good case and I didn't return it because I use it when I go out to places (like the LA Zoo, etc...). But the phone is just too thick with it on. Dangit, now I'm thinking about putting it on again after reading this thread.
I have been since I got my Demo Slick Wrap for the phone. I have never gone case free with any of my phones since the OG evo 4g, I usually buy a case the same day I get the phone.
I have had the wrap on for about two weeks now with no case and as mentioned its like having a brand new phone. The wrap is full body and (knock on wood) I have not had a drop as of yet but I keep in mind that I don't have a case on and try to take extra care when holding the phone.
I switch between case less and my spigen neo hybrid case

I've been case free since 2010 but I just couldn't do it for this device. Maybe the size, but also for resale because I might buy the Note 4 retail and sell this. But to be fair it's actually just a cover because the back replaces the backplate (s-view samsung faux leather case) so it's very minimal.
I couldn't do a big plastic/silicone case though.
These Slick Wraps and Cruzerlite wraps are great no case alternatives.

I have the Neo Hybrid, its nice but it does add a lot of bulk, and its not very comfy to hold in the hand. If you want slimness, the best best is to get a standard TPU case, like Diztronic or Spigen Slim Armor. Maybe even check to see if Casemate has a "Barely There" snap on hard cover.
I hope this helps.
Way tooo risky lol, I just stick with a bumper case
i am case free but looking at doing a case as I just dropped my phone for the 3rd time.. it is getting very battered up.. i have a chunk out of the case in the upper right (near front camera??), lower left and right... ughhhh...
looking at my phone now I think i see a crack about 1" to the left of the power button that goes from front to back...
I want a lifeproof but they dont make one and on ebay someone has "waterproof" but not submerge-able cases.. doing research now
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Waterpr...Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&var=&hash=item1c3eb86eea
side note is I do not want to have something that screws together as I now use a 64gb micro sd in my dslr, take pic, put into phone and go to facebook quickly now...
I run caseless with a zagg invisible shield. I use a Seideo holster to clip it to me
I keep my in a bumper case. I like it becuase it stays slim, but i don't want to drop this phone naked...

Spigen Slim Armor Case Review

So I recently just bought the Sprint Lg G3 and I loved it. I felt very insecure using my phone bare naked and didn't feel comfortable putting it in my pocket in fear of scratching the back or the screen. Within days of having this phone, I have already scratched the back battery plate cover (very minimal though).
So I went ahead and bought the Spigen Slim Armor case along with the iCarez tempered Glass Screen Protector. Both go well with each other.
-Spigen Slim Armor Case: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JQI2LNQ/ref=twister_B00M8RXZ64?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
-iCarez Tempered Glass Screen Protector: http://www.amazon.com/Anti-Scratch-Bubble-free-Fingerprint-Protector-Replacement/dp/B00KGSW734/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1420355354&sr=1-1&keywords=icarez+lg+g3
I have loved both products since I received them. The Spigen armor fits on so well with all the right cutouts (perfect). It doesn't make the phone that fat honestly. The iCarez screen protector is amazing as well. It comes off very easily if you peal the edge with your fingernail which helps when applying the screen. I would highly recommend the iCarez tempered glass screen protector to all G3 owners out there. The quality of the glass is amazing and feels just as amazing as the original screen. It has all the right cutouts and is very easy to install with no problems with air bubbles (but be careful of dirt under the screen).
I'd highly recommend the Spigen Slim Armor to anyone looking for a case.
This is the second phone I have had using a Spigen Slim Armor case with (Samsung GS4 was the first) and I agree with IamFlynn. The case is very nice, great fit, great quality, and it makes the device just slightly fatter than without. It feels like a very expensive case once it is on the phone. As soon as I got the phone, before I left the Sprint store, it was already on. I haven't taken it off much since it feels so good on the phone.

I've had 2 slim armor cases (N5 and this one) and they have both been extremely slippery. So much so that it has actually caused me to drop the phone in times when I normally wouldn't. As for drop protection, I can say this case on my G3 isn't the greatest. It slipped out of my hand once and hit asphalt. The first bounce seemed to do a good amount of protection, but the phone came out of the case and landed separately from the case. I've since gone with a different one with more texture, but this is a slick looking case indeed.
i love this case but i have to agree that it is a little slippery. One thing that really bugs me although i highly doubt that they considered it when designing the case is that i cannot prop it up on something unless the angle is just right because of the hard plastic it just slips. I like to watch netflix when im cooking or what ever and getting this thing to sit upright is chore. But ive had the case since day one and in every other way i love it.

OMG! Me too! haha. My old case for my Epic 4g Touch had a rubber case and allowed me to because of grip but this case just doesn't but I still love it!
I've had the gold case since November and the back gets really scratched up just from being in my pocket.

I'm starting to notice that as well, it stinks but I'm okay with it for now.
I've only had mine since the week before Christmas and mine is all scratched too. Love the case though. Really compliments the phone.
I've had this case for a few months and love it! I've several phones and cases over the years and this is by far my favorite. It forms extremely well to the phone and it isn't too big or bulky.
Per what others have said, mine has a few scratches but that's what cases are for. Just means it's doing it's job LOL

After the comments on here and a typical YouTube research I ordered the Ultra Hybrid case. Looking forward to it. I've had the tempered glass for it and I strongly recommend it to anyone that has a G3
