Their glass protector is absolute garbage. I bought it and that company will never see a penny from me again.

Received the tempered glass version today.
Well, as had been said numerous times, the quality was abysmal. Way too small, adhesive utter joke.
Removed it instantly, looking for a proper one now.
Avoid... at... any... price!

2 for $10 bucks. I have two chances for 1 good one. I thought it was worth the gamble.

I rather spend $10 on a better quality screen protector than take a gamble. If both turned out to be bad, you just wasted $10, have to spend more on a better one and possibly use your phone until the new one arrives.

xtreme guard is sh*t quality..i bought a few for my S3 and nexus 7 before...after apply and i peel it off after 3 days (as the application instruction say must let it settle down 48hrs)..some more when they having sales..they will send out those reject stock to customer...
after that experience..i have blacklist xtreme guard sp....even it's free..i wouldnt want to waste my time on this lousy sp anymore..

For ten bucks I don't think it's fair to say you wasted your money, I'm sure some of what you got in there is gonna be worth keeping, but I have a general rule: be very, very careful around any brand that has 90% off sales.

Cheap OtterBox Knock-Offish Cases?

Has anybody tried these out yet? Just saw them on eBay today.
OtterBox Knock Offs
Their feedback is pretty good, but they haven't been selling these particular cases for very long. So, I'm guessing nobody that bought one has reviewed it yet.
Whatcha think?
Been thinking about one of these as a backup. @ 20 bucks might just go for it.
I like the Defender so much because of the camera protection. This knock-off leaves the camera area exposed, offering them no protection...Guess it all depends on your wants/needs, but this case also just has a cheap look to me..specifically the button/hole covers

You can get a defender case for only 12 dollars more on amazon.
Just received mine today. I think I paid 36 all together with shipping.
As long as it not otterbox, then yes.
Otterbox wants you to setup a crime scene before you can return a defective unit.
They don't have any integrity about standing by their product.

Quite the opposite actually. 95% of people who call in don't have to do anything to get replacement, myself included. I called them, explained the issue, he asked for my email address and mailing address then told me i would receive it in about a week, didn't have to do ANY thing. Plus get to keep the old one for a backup, nice!! Bet customer service anywhere!!

I pretty much guarantee you will get better customer support from otterbox than you will this knock off company.
I got an otterbox defender for my OG evo as soon as they became available. 3x I had to have it replaced (for minor issues) and 3x they sent me replacements with little to no trouble. I had to take a picture of the damage the first time.
Btw the replacements were for 1 the kickstand snapped in half and the other 2 were related to the holster cracking. (I was very hard on the holster, always bumping it into walls/doors lol)

I went ahead and got one full price 49.99 right after i bought my Evo. Could have waited---- but whatever.
I think this would be a good cheap alternative mainly due to the exposed buttons. The defender works as advertised but i might want a lower profile, easier access, less tapedeck looking case.
Ive had one problem with the defender. watch were you sit. The belt clip has a weak point and it will break if you hit it in the right spot.
Edit: On second thought- there is no way to make the Evo 3d not look like a a Walkman
I woul probably like the knokoff more if all buttons/ ports were exposed.
MMMM, Nom Nom Nom
I ordered the Defender. Got a discount from Retailmenot.com and really like it. Ditched the crappy built in screen protector and grabbed a zagg also got the discount for that at retailmenot.com.
I am suppose to be getting my otterbox in the mail tomorrow from fedex. I love the camera protection it offers. And the best thing is I got it for free, haha through best buy accommodations.

Lets make a deal! Giving away a gadget guard from AT&T.

Got an extra one. They cost $30 and once you have one, you get free ones for life, even if you screw up installing it. Just go to an at&t store.
Seems identical to a Zagg front cover.
I'm giving it away to the person that finds me the best bulk deal on the regular cheap 3 piece install ones. Frosted anti fingerprint or clear.
Someone hook me up and ill hook you up!

I just don't want to wait for shipping, lol.
You could try these. I have not used these personally but for low cost these would be cheaper than the 20 pieces 20 dollars one you found.
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SGH-i...WO/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1332993976&sr=8-16
$1.97 for 3 or $13.79 for 21 (if you order 7 sets of this product)
I purchased them shipping is 21 days. The make no mention of installation though.

at my local best buy has them...i bought mine yesterday....its really nice....i like it...
Not a single one in my town. I did spend a lot of time showing my phone off because I'm the only one in town who has it. Anyone care to comment on the fitment of it?; this anti-glare Moshi wont even stay in place but it was free.
*edit* Found one. Nice fitment.
Put it on yesterday within about 2 hours of buying mine. (Took that long to track one down at Best Buy). Wend on easy and feels smoother than a regular Zagg. I'm quite happy with it! :good:

Actually, the one on Zaggs site is not the HD. Zagg doesnt even list the HD version as of yet. The HD are always more than the original because of higher quality. Actually, im sure that might be objective, but to me it is. They just seem more clear, and they feel of them seems closer to the actual screen than most screen protectors. I actually Zagg today because i wanted to register mine for warranty purposes and its not an option on their site. The rep even verified for me that their site does not list this version, and that it will probably be another week before it does.
Now, having said all that, has anyone else experienced any issues with theirs scratching? I have the Zagg HD on my One X, Galaxy S3, and on the OG. Ive had them on my other phones since they day the phone was purchased and they still look wonderful. The one on my OG was placed on it the day i got it, the 3rd, and i actually peeled it off today because it is so scratched up it looks terrible. Im just wondering if maybe there is a manufacturing flaw in them or something.

I went to best buy today and they had a bundle special. I got the Zagg screen & the Rocketfish case for $35.
The reason for the price difference is because the one at bestbuy is the HD screen, which will better compliment that beautiful display.
BTW, Zagg is having 50% off sale for CyberMonday, still going today.

Ghost Armor makes clear protectors for both the front and the back that are just awesome.
12 bucks for maximum coverage (back, front, and sides) on Zagg using InvisibleShield with lifetime warranty is basically a "because why not?" deal. I recall paying 20 bucks some years ago just to have the front of my Inspire covered.

I was trying to determine if the LGOG kit they have listed on the website will fit the E970 so i tried calling Zagg several times on Monday but they never picked up the phone. I sent them an email late in the afternoon and have not yet heard back from them.
kinda frustrating that they had the 50% off sale but not reply to my inquiry. If I hear back from them I'll update this thread.
edit: was informed that the LG OG (the one NOT listed as Sprint specific) would fit the AT&T device. So i ordered a full body kit.

If these are the film or 3M material screen protectors you won't like them with the S-Pen, it will leave indents in the screen protector. Just an FYI.

1 dollar each...why the hell not
thank you. ordered 2 as well.
Order shipped on the 2nd and I got them today... I applied one screen protector and it seems to be ok for now. We'll have to wait and see how it dries out.
I purchased my 2 October 1st and received the today October 5th. I have always used a Zaggshield wet and dry install and this is EXACTLY the same material and installation method as the wet install. I cannot believe I used to pay $25 for a Zagg and got these for $1 each. They are great quality I think I might snatch up a few more before this sale is over with.
EDIT: I have noticed while using the S-Pen the screen protector kinda gets hung up on the screen especially while writing on it. The screen is kinda sticker once applied and the pen is kinda leaving marks on the screen protector. Usually with the Zaggshield this stickiness comes off in a few days so hopefully it will with these as well.
You have been warned haha.

So out of the 2 I got I noticed they both had some "things" stuck on them or inside the material they were cut from. It seemed like lint at first so I took off the first one and tried out the second one. As soon as I placed it down on the black screen of the phone I could see 4 pieces of white material that was stuck into the screen protector. I guess these were sold so cheap for a reason
I was a big fan of zaggs products for my last 4 phones and figured I would give these a shot for the price. I received my order of (6) on Monday and installed 3 of them(different phones) . IMO, they look beautiful. The texture of the extremeguard is much closer to feeling naked than the zagg.
Installation was just as easy/complicated as the zagg. I had a bunch of installation kits left over from my zaggs and didn't need to go the route of "a bowl of soapy water".
The cost savings doesn't come out of the product, it comes out of the delivery. No fancy, shiny packaging. No spray bottle.
I would buy again!

True, halo city with their sp.
Their sp won't last long, not because of the quality, but I change it for a better looking one few weeks later.
I had the Deff, only lasted a week. Dust under the FFC was almost immediate since there is no silicone across the top of it. I have been sticking with regular screen protectors since. For $3, I didn't really care. Deff was a waste of money. Either way, I figured I'd share, not everybody knows they always have these sales.
