Minuum on G watch - LG G Watch

I just got my link to Minuum for android wear. The only problem is that I'm at work and of course I don't have my cradle with me, so I'll have to wait till tonight. I tried using adb thru bluetooth but I'm not sure exactly how it works, so I guess it'll have to wait till tonight. So excited...

I got it about a week ago loaded on g watch but would not bring up a keyboard just instructions.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I got my invite, but I haven't installed it yet. Later tonight, I guess.

As far as I know, it's completely useless at the moment as Android Wear doesn't allow for keyboard input.

for now yes, but in the future. answer a sms from your watch without having to chose from a preset. or send that tiny whatsapp message from your watch. theres possibilities with it.

I tried it, got the app to run, but never managed to get the keyboard to pop up.
The only issue is that few/no apps support keyboard entry. I was hoping to test SWApp - that insists on keyboard entry at configuration (but no joy with that either).
Edit: fixed
It was a conflict with Wear Mini Launcher - some GPU resource issue maybe. On your phone, open wear mini launcher, set 'enable drawer' to off. Obviously this means you can't have the launcher active, but at least it is possible to test, without having to un-install.

you don't need root! Just need to install and activate the apk via adb

I got it to work and works quite well! But there is no place to actually input it like replying to a txt or whatever right?

Google Voice for XOOM, Maybe nook?

On Droid-Life. (someone please post link) i found that someone on the xoom forum got Google Voice to work.
I was trying what they posted a few days ago, using titanium backup, and now I tried this. Both with no luck.
Try it out on your nooks, maybe someone will have an idea or get it to work. Currently mine freezes in the setup on the page about configuring your voicemail. it wont work, and I try to skip and it freezes. anybody else try yet?

Adding more apps to multi window

I've seen some hacks for a few of the other samsung phones that let you add other apps to the multi window view instead of just the built in apps. Just wondering if any one has found a way to do that on our mega 6.3 yet?
you need to be on deodexed rom, it will be easy to mod.
Ok, thank you. I'll wait for a deodexed stock rom to show up.
Still waiting for the ClockWorkMod recovery to work, then we'll be in business..
I kind of knew this coming into this phone as the dev community probably wouldn't be as large as the flag ship phones, but the phone has been really good so far with the exception of the headphone volume being very low.

The multi window feature that comes with the phone is limited to some apps. This will allow you to add to the multi windows any app in your phone.
also you can go this way.

I interpreted the post wrong. I thought I could choose either method separately but I believe the post is saying that you have to install both the xposed installer and the multi window manager. Neither one of them by itself worked for me but when I installed both apps it worked. I hope this helps those hsving problems.

Correct xposed allows you to install other things besides multi window mod. Also samsung has app called samsung multi pro or something similar to that. It will allow you to do the same but you have to pay for the app. I personally have no experience with it.

I got mine that working fine , you need only root your phone, install multi window manager from play store, it can let you add any apps you like
Yup, you are right. I tried that app when I first got the phone (after installing the root kernel) and it would keep giving me errors saying i wasn't rooted. I just tried the app again and it works perfectly. Thank you!

These are infomations with the update
Tasks enables you to create, manage and synchronize Exchange™ to-do lists and reminders. It is easy to set up and use with your existing Exchange™ account.
Version: 1.0
Description:
Create, manage and synchronize Exchange™ tasks. Manage your professional and personal life with to-do lists and reminders.
I guess it's a really good app for those who uses Exchange, but Google Keep is really good at notes and task managing, so i don't see why a normal human being should use this if (s)he doesn't need Exchange. I downloaded it and used it for maybe 30 seconds, and uninstalled it. I don't need it.
That doesn't mean the rest of the people owning a Ultra shares the same opinion as me, so that's fine. I just think Sony is a bit late to the game with this one.
Do a search!
Tasks is a to-do app similar to those found in Google Play store, but this update comes directly from Sony.
Like any other android task app, you can create a list of reminders on this Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1 . Simply tap on new task option, enter details and your reminder is set up.

Snapcheck checks for Xposed (because of Snapprefs), but I guess they don't check for the app. Just noting that for anyone who tries it; saving time.
Hy there,
This module caused a heavy lag/freeze and bootloop for me. Managed start the phone again (idk how), and removed it from xposed, now everything's working fine.
Phone: Sony Z2 (D6503) with pre-rooted android MM (6.01)
This works perfect to hide @Shaftamle keyboards from play services so they don't fc. Thank you!!
Did it works for hide Snapchat?
Android Pay would be another nice app if this would work using this method. I know I've tried others like root cloak etc. and other methods but they don't work unfortunately.

If i can suggest one more thing [emoji5] ...
When you select an app from the main menu, then get into the 2nd internal one; remove the auto focus on the text box so that you dont have to see the keyboard everytime.
And show a toast message to say for example "the app is hidden now" when you press the button.
Thanks so much for your work.

upload new versions if you'd like to check again. it fixed a bootloop on my device which happened after a system crash (some weird case)
turns out it was class cast exception on a return argument, and the caller turned out to be system app.

Snapcheck checks for Xposed (because of Snapprefs), but I guess they don't check for the app. Just noting that for anyone who tries it; saving time.
