[INFO][ROM][N7505][4.3] 21/07/2014 Prometeus custom ROM V1 - Galaxy Note 3 Neo General

This is only an informational thread. It is not my ROM. It is made by prometeus69 who posted it on HTCmania All credits goes to him
.
I have personally not tested this. We shall share the reviews on the ROM here.
The ROM was posted in Spanish language. I used google translate to translate it.
I will no longer be updating this thread as the ROM dev himself has posted the ROM in the development section. Here's the link.
prometeus v1
Greetings friends, I've decided to create a ROM for this device seeing that it's forgotten by the makers.
This ROM has been created to offer greater customization over stock ROM. It's cleaner so resource consumption is lower.
I'll later work on some mods and themes for this model to give life to the device.
Prometeus v1 full stock
Royalty KNOX
Semi liteada

Busybox
Deodex
Prometeus apk
Own Kitchen

Anyone has tested the rom?

will this work on N-750
Sent from my SM-N750 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Unlikely. It's for N7505. The porting will be very easy as very few changes need to be made. But I don't think it will work right away.

Not working yet. There are a few Spanish users beta testers. Hopefully we will see the results very soon. Only for N7505.

I wipe everything and then have the rom insatln. it then reboot what I have done then comes the android logo then what all the time flashes. I've been waiting 10 minutes and it re-disturbed arte into recovery and wipe cache dalvk where I have a fail get back. reboot, android logo comes and flashes back the whole time.

[Q] help.. i cant get out of this loop!!

so i did something stupid i know.. i put viper 2.0.2 on without doing a full wipe, just installed it over the old viper 1.0.0.. now it just keeps rebooting.. when i try to use the power+vol down to get into recovery, it just goes to a hboot screen that says parsing..[sd zip] [1] recovery and asking if i want to start the update.. if i do, it does something then asks to reboot and when i do, it just goes back into the reboot loop.. i did try the viper boot-img-flasher 1.2.1 and when it gets into a part of the reboot, the program does see the device and does its thing, makes my phone reboot into a fastboot screen, then i do the boot.img part and it seems to work fine, then it reboots, and starts going into the loop again.. is there any way i can get to recovery so i can just do a full wipe and install the ROM again? i also tried using the current RUU and it did look like it worked once, but then just kept going into the bootloop.. so that dont seem to be working either... thanks in advance for any help.. i feel stuck...

[Q] CyanogenMod 10 on Galaxy s2 I9100G

How long does it take to finish the first reboot after CyanogenMod 10 has just installed? I waited for it about 15 minutes and it still loading, is to root my s2 first before i install CyanogenMod 10 is necessarily? Help
You mean you didn't root your device but just installed CM10 on it without doing anything..? Or am I missing something?
Sent from the Matrix
It shouldn't take so long, try rebooting your phone
If you didn't root it before installing, that shouldn't be a problem if you found a way to do it via download mode. If you flashed cn the regular way via recovery without root, then I'm stumped. Usually the stock recovery shouldn't have even allowed flashing a custom rom unless you selected flash update.zip

This is a common problem if you dont wipe data.
You need to "wipe data/factory" reset before or after flashing rom if coming from another rom. Reboot into recovery and do wipe. If that doesn't work re-flash rom and try again.
This is why you should use Titanium Backup Pro to backup needed apps/app data so that you can simply restore them quick and easy in batch mode after doing clean install.

TWRP 2.6.3.1 & cache/dalvik wiping

Hello,
I got a question for those using latest TWRP 2.6.3.1. It takes several minutes to wipe cache&dalvik while previous versions only takes a few seconds.
Is it general or just my problem?
Thanks and best regards.
Not just you. Go into settings and check to use rm - f instead.
This happens on CWM also.

Yep, its on any recovery since Google releases there KitKat. I hope the devs fix it soon.

TWRP works fine, but I can't flash any rom on my Samsung GT-S6312

Hello everyone,I'm Tom from Croatia and this is my first post here.I'm trying to flash new rom on my Galaxy Young s6312 using TWRP.I have two roms on my sd card, one is Bulldroid-v2.zip,and another one is Remix v1.zip.When I flash bulldroid,it takes maybe 20 secs to finish flashing, and it says "successful",but after reboot the phone it goes only to the point where it displays it's own name and make, and would stay there forever. When I flash remix,it fails every time. Please give me some idea how to solve that issue and flash my phone successfully....Thanks....

Thank you Navi44,I did that already, but it didn't help.Installing time is too short to my opinion, and all that I see on display after reboot is Samsung and name of the phone. It stops at this point. But every time installing was "successful"...

Try to see section of your phone here on XDA. This shuldnt happen,
Disable signature verification, wipe system data cache and all, reboot twrp, and flash again. And what's the error in twrp? If its error 7 then u need to delete one line in updater script.
Rest depends on what error its throwing.
Sorry bro wasn't able to help you out.

So I just need to unlock the bootloader again? And then can I flash it through recovery rom? Or fastboot is the only option?
Sorry for being a noob ?

Well i can call myself noob too.... Bht successfully flashed miui 8 again from slim rom....
I followed the thread here on xda..
Downloaded the miui 8 rom(global) recovery zip... Deleted the emmc_appsboot file from the zip....
Cooked cracked boot image..
And then did a clean install.... (wiped cache.. System.. Delvik cache.. Data.. Even internal) and glashed miui 8... Then flashed the cracked boot image.... AND ALL DONE
Just before starting.. Check if your phone is unlocked.... If not.. Go to fastboot mode and unlock it using miunlock....
Thats what i did... After failing many times.... So try it.

Step 1 :- If you have unlocked officially boot into recovery(TWRP) wipe dalvik, cache, data, system (not internal storage and SDcard).
Step 2 :- Then flash a miui recovery rom.
Step 3 :- After successful flash now press home button in TWRP and click Reboot option and then select Bootloader.
Step 4 :- While you boot into fastboot open mi unlock and unlock your bootloader and then reboot the phone.
That's it!!!

There is a easy way too u just have to flash lazyflasher after flashing official miui ROM lazyflasher will delete emmc file n will also delete "verify" from fstab.qcom file done!! It works great I have flashed miui roms several times lazy flasher also has a SuperSU zip if u want to root miui ROM n ur bootloader remains unlocked
Tips - after flashing both files lazy flasher n ROM then tap on reboot system it will ask to "disable replace stock recovery" that time u have to "swipe to allow modifications" if u select "do not disable" then ur TWRP recovery will be gone on next boot.
Just remember to flash lazyflasher zip every time ur reverting back from custom to stock rom
