Is there no spam call/sms blocker built into the z2? If so how do I block calls/sms?

There's none atm. You can install Call Blacklist to do this.

Use GoSmS Pro Private Box, and SMS Filter for Blocking Mesages, and for Private SMS.
For Blocking Calls, I personally use the Kaspersky AntiVirus. Any other Antivirus will also do.
If you have root you can use Root Call Blocker Pro [See Market]. Also check out SPC on the MArket.
like the title says, because i had just finished using Call Control's Call Blocker Pro app free for a year when i left a review and submitted to them via FB. Are there any apps of the kind you guys would recommend that is just as great as Call Control with no root required? There are too many to choose from, idk what's the supposed "really good one".
Have a look at Tasker. It's MASSIVE and will do a tonne of things more than block calls, but you can set it to block calls not in your contact list, block hidden numbers or block specific contacts.
For example, I have a contact called "Ignore Me" and Tasker is set to block all calls from that user. Whenever I get a call from a new number I want blocked I just add it as another number to that contact and I never get any more calls.
I've tried many call blockers but Tasker is the only one that has given me all I asked for, plus it can do soooooo much more!

that looks great and all, but i want something that specifically and simply blocks calls/sms as good as Call Control does...without the use of root

Curious to what folks are using to block unwanted calls and spam texts.
Currently I'm using LBE Security, but the apps is really overkill for just those 2 features that I want.
It seems Mr.Number is the most popular on Google Play, but that doesn't necessarily mean its the best.
No on has any input on this topic?

I`am using Call Control now. This app can block non-numerical numbers. But no whitelist support.
What for this stuff, you ask?
Answer: information from cellular providers and from banks comes from such numbers. But they trapped in spam and you have always to look blocked log. It is very annoying.
You thoughts about this problem...any suggestions?

GoSMS can block non-numeric senders with each select.
(So I dont want to use gosms, i'm searching a generic solution for firmware's sms client.)
