[request porting] ultra power saving mode s5 - Motorola Droid RAZR

there is anyone who want port the galaxy's s5 ultra power saving mode ??? i watched on the forum and i seen who a lot of people had ported this features like note 2 s4 and s3 so i answered why we can't have this feature on the motorola razr ???? thanks a lot and sorry for my horrible english but i'm italian

I think that is because there are Samsung devices and i guess, that is easiest to do with samsungs

yes we want this

It is not possible, because Samsung devices run on Touchwiz rom.
Smart battery saving, etc are part of Touchwiz interface.
An Xposed apps like that could be possible, we need a smart Dev

[Q] Galaxy Note II Multi-Window porting to other phones

Is there any chance Galaxy Note II Multi-Window to be ported to other phones like Sony xperia, lg optimus, etc. Is there any posibility to be ported for amrv6 (impossible??).
I think its possible cuz in the end its just a apk... but:
-not all phones have the screen size of the galaxy note
-not all phones have as much ram and cpu and gpu as the galaxy note II
in the end its not that usefull either on the note cuz its not the same thing as on a pc.. on a phone, multitasking like switching apps is enough..
This is only my idea... if someone is working on it or things like that well.. good luck and happy development..

galaxy s4 has way too many features that require that kind of hardware resources which gs4 possess but our s advance does not...as of now there is no port available but if it comes it wont run in any productive manner....alternatively you can use apps available for those features like clone camera is one such example...

Possibility of Note3 and S4 apps on Galaxy Mega?

Hi guys,
You know Galaxy Mega is a great phone. But i think we miss some of the features and apps like the ones on the s4 and note 3. Wouldnt it be cool if we can have them. I saw some threads like,
Note 3 apps for S4:
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/samsung-galaxy-note-3-apps-on-the-galaxy-s-4/
S4 apps for S3:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2309762
Why there is no Note 3 apps for Mega thread?
I agree, we need to port every app that's worth it.
It would be easier if we get from S4 to S3 apps because of the display resolution.

[Q] ROM from s7580 (Trend Plus) on s7560 (Trend)?

Hello, does somebody tried to install stock rom from Galaxy Trend Plus (GT-S7580) with android 4.2 support onto Galaxy Trend (GT-S7560)?
Is it safe?
I know that the most of roms and modifications from Galaxy Ace II X works on Galaxy Trend, but there's no android 4.0+ that works well on this device (CyanogenMods are with bugs, and uses only 3mpx in CameraMX). I'm asking because design is the same, only difference is that the Trend Plus has CPU with 2 cores and also it can record videos in 720p, Trend in 480p. Maybe after installing that rom on Galaxy Trend it will can record videos in 720p and that at all will work stably and correctly?
In general, no.
I haven't had a research about GT-S7560, but Samsung equipped Android 4.0 to Trend for a reason: it's chip. The single-core on Trend cannot handle 4.0+ stock, and many people reported that on its own 4.0, the phone did't handle the UI very well (lags sometimes).
You can check again, Trend Plus is also incapable of recording 720p (or at less Samsung disabled that). In order to record 720p, the phone's chip and memory must be strong enough. If you want to record 720p videos, you may use a custom camera app. Maybe you would like to check out the modified version of Jelly Bean Gallery app from the stock Android (many on xda), that app supports recording 720p, even though on my Trend Plus, the video recorded was terribly laggy
Anyway, if you wish to have 720p, use custom camera apps (the stock Google version of Gallery which I installed also support 5MP photo capturing). If you want 4.0+ on a Trend, I recommend looking for ways to smoothen the CM
I'm looking for a custom ROM for s7580, but no development is going on
Can give me a link for the modde camera app ? And im also waiting for a forum to develop our galaxy trend plus
lifehacker.com/install-the-new-android-camera-on-any-android-phone-no-711043020
You can search about the stock 4.2 Gallery pk on Google
And... you know, I'm searching everyday for developments of our devices :'( still no hope yet...

HTC One M9 ( i really love the Design and the Sense UI, had the M7)
LG G4 (Good Battery Life, UI is not that nice)
Sony Xperia Z3 Plus (Z4) (Never had one, Good Battery Life, nice UI)
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Snapdragon) (Super Display, the Pen could be interesting)
All phones would be Unlocked.
