Currently I'm running Com 2.1 with 5/31 -50v PBJT kernel. Which so far seems to be running fine. The phone charges fine, provided I have the phone already turned on. The problem occurs if I turn the phone off and plug in the cable. It doesn't matter whether its via the wall or computer.
The battery symbol will show up on the screen and I'll see the animation symbol that shows up in the battery. But the symbol freezes, no battery status will show up. Power button doesn't work. I can tap the bottom buttons and they'll light up. The only thing to do is pull the battery.
Anyone run across anything remotely similar?

is there any way that the lights (green or orange) will switch off automatically while charging after a certain time? either via regular settings or a tweak? couldnt find anything. its really a bit anoying when trying to sleep in the same room and theres some orange or green glowing all the time.
edit: Im referring to the green and orange LED lights of my phone, not to lights within the android window.

its green, but I realise now that my post has been a bit unclear. Im refering to the LED lights of my phone. the android lights dont matter, as the screen turns off after a while anyway.
When I'm charging my phone the LED turns orange and I don't ever get a green notification light like it's supposed to. Anyone else have the same problem while charging? Is there a fix so I can tell when I get a notification while charging?
On the stock ROM here, same issue. Just get a charging LED, no notifications
I'm trying to figure out the stock behaviour of the LED's on the Xperia U under ICS and I'm wondering if some good samaritan(s) can help me out?
At present I have just one request but in future I may have some more -- they're all very quick though.
So, first up. When your phone is charging (either via USB or mains) what does the power LED do (i.e. what colour and is it solid or blinking, if blinking, fast or slow) when:
You have less than 90% charge
You have more than 95% charge
Then for either of the above two scenarios, what happens to both the power LED and the LED bar when you go in to the gallery and view a photo?

1)When charge is more thatn 90-91% the power led is green.
2)When i use the gallery, the led bar becomes green, red, etc; Led bar becomes green for example when i take a picture like grace, blue with sea etc.

What does the power LED do (when plugged in) when you're using the gallery -- does it still stay green/red?

Yes. Stays red or green.
my phone just showing notification light while charging... I cant even see the boot animation in it.... and it is not starting.... What should I do?
