The information you provided is not enough .
Do you have any experience in flashing roms ? Is the device unlocked ? which version of android is currently running on the device ?

hi, you need read, read and read and ask, cheers

If it's still running gingerbread then you need to install CM9 at least before jumping to CM11.
Personally I'd install CM9, then CM10, and then CM11.
But before you install any ROMs you'll need to root it and install CWM or TWRP custom recovery.

Hello everyone. I just rooted on my phone the Cyanogen Mod 7 (cm7-zdzihu-mod). But the android version is 2.3.5. How can i upgrade it to 2.3.7? Do i need to install another custom ROM or it is just a simple update (which i didn't find yet)?
Thank you for your time, and i am really looking forward to seeing your answers.

hey.
I am having some problem installing cyanogenmod on my x10i, i have tried many other roms but none will install.
i have tried every tips in xda but i still get the E: error in /sdcard/ update.zip
(status 7).
i'm desperate, i so want to install cyanogen on my mobile or any other stable and quite beautifull rom, because my stock rom is so lame, it keeps rebooting, crashing, freezing, i'm like reformating this thing every month, because it crashes.even if i install nothing on my mobile exept usefull stuffs.
My idea was if i cannot install any custom roms on my x10i, can you who actually was able to install it help me on how it needs to be done or else make a nandroid backup of his cyanogenmod installed on your mobile and upload it somewhere for me to download it and restore it to my mobile it would be great.
Thanks for your help in advance

Installing cm 10/10.1 from stock, help

so i just replaced my old Xperia X10 with my new SGS3 and i wanted to flash CyanogenMod on it, because i have used it on my X10before , on the SGS3 im running 4.1.2 and i have found a rooting tutorial but i couldnt find any specific information on whether i could flash it straight from that version of android, or if i have to downgrade to ICS first to make it work, because i have read in the CM rom thread that my Wifi may not be working so im worried about that. also what do i need to do before installing it, do i need to wipe data/cache/dalvik cache like on my x10 or not? thank you in advance for your answer

Yes you can
But with a 4.1.2, you have now a new bootlpader which include a new protection. So you will have a red exclamation mark on boot.
It doesn't matter, all is fine and everything will be working, it's just related to warranty service.
Check also forum, you can downgrade bootloader to avoid exclamation mark.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus (GT-9105P)

Hello, guys. I need some help, if you can.
First question is if i need to root my device before installing a 4.2.2 rom. Currently i have 4.1.2 JB, but it's from factory and i haven't got the update from official soft. I don't care why i haven't, but i want it to be done.
I've read thousands of forums about rooting, installing roms and etc, but i still have some questions.
Second one is: If i finally manage to do that update to 4.2.2, what rom should i go to from there on? Stay at 4.2.2 or go further? I need a stable one, i'm not really a andoid geek, but sounds fun to get into it.
Which rom should i trust to install? First of all, i know that if i want to install a newer one, i still need to go from a 4.2.2 so i'm stuck at him for now.
And the most important: Can you provide me a link to instructions? I haven't ever done a root or installed a rom, so i'm virgin in this kind of stuff.
Best regards, Dezaxat.
Up, please ?

cyanogenmod 11 to revolutionary s5

Hello all, i am a newbie to flashing roms and i would like your help.
I currently have CM 11 installed with its stock CM kernel that goes with the rom.
I decided that i want to switch to revolutionary s5 rom.
I did a small research but i dont know if what i read was correct, so i need someone to reply with the steps i should follow and some links to guide me.
Only thing i know so far is that i have to install clockworkmod recovery.
I should do anything with the kernels? cause CM kernel is not compatible with rev s5 kernel.
Im waiting for some replies to start flashing to rev s5 im so excited!
Thanks
