Hi all ,
i have xperia x10 old one , unlocked bootloader , problem is when i change kernal to ics and flashed rom, everything was perfect and working , after a while when i want to back , flashtool didnt detect phone , also sd card wasnt readably , i tried everything , flashed rom again , cwm is working ... today went to sony servis they told about one box , and said it is possible to fix maybe not u should risk 50 / 50 ... what to do ?

try reflasing just the kernel. this usually does it. if not, also uncheck Android Debugging under Settings.

I uncheck Android Debugging , no sense for it , about kernal i cant flash coz flashtool doesnt work for me, only i dont know it is possible to flash stock kernal.zip file via cwm , and it will change kernal inside ?

Use Gordon's gate App inside flash tools folder to reinstall drivers so flash tools can detect your phone .
flash stock frimware & you'll be ok

inside the flashtool folder there's a directory called drivers. just run the program called "Flashtool-drivers.exe", that should do it.

If you installed flashtools on driver C
So go to this destination:
C/flash tools/drivers
Gordon's gate should be there
Just run it & it will automatically remove & install drivers

Hi Guys, Few Days Ago I Posted Topic On How To Root Spreadtrum SC8810 Device But No One Was Accurate Enough. I Posted The Same Question On GSM Forum But No One Replied. This Is The 1st Tutorial Abt Rooting All Spreadtrum/Mediatek '&&' Many Other Processors With A Single Click.
Steps:
1) Download USB Drivers For Your Phone. (Google For It). If You Can't Find Drivers For Your Phone Then Contact Me.
2) Download VRoot (Self Modified Version) From Here : Mod Edit: Links removed
3) Install The Program.
4) Connect Your Phone Via USB.
5) Turn On USB Debugging In Your Phone. For 2.3 '&' Lower: Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging
For 4.0 '&' Above:

4) Run The Program.

7) After Few Mins Your Phone Will Be Rebooted '&&' You Will Get The Root Access. SuperUser Will Be Installed In Your Phone.

If you have trouble getting ADB driver installed use www.snappea.com, it can install a generic adb driver that will work for what we need!

Edit : I noticed in your old guide that you could remove the chinese superuser after installing english superuser and updating, I've done that
and the prompts now come up from the english superuser, but the chinese one has made itself a system app somehow and I can't delete it,
is there a solution for that or should I just disable it and ignore it.

So you get english superuser prompts when something asks for root? Try using Titanium Back up to uninstall the chinese superuser app.

It is actually quite simple to swap out the chinese superuser for the SuperSU or english Superuser if you know how. I posted how in my post about using Vroot.

Also - for most devices needing an ADB driver, just install snap pea from here: www.snappea.com It will install a generic ADB driver that will work just fine with any and every device I have used it on so far! You might also consider referencing or linking the developer of this tool since it is not of your own design. :good:

I would suggest you to install PDA net and use the following method , this works for most mobiles , use normal mode

Yesterday I thot of givin xposed framework another chance... even though I found it a bit laggy... but later I realised it was a module which made my phone slow so I deactivated it and nw d phone is fine. ... den I came to knw abt unicon app from playstore... I purchased and installed and activated d module in xposed. .. and rebooted d phone... so after d reboot I opened d unicon app... but it still showing install xposed framework and activate icon themer module... I tried rebootin d phone reinstallin xposed everything. .. I reinstalled d app several times. .. I even tried installin d old version knwn as icon themer. .. but it is still showin same msg... has any1 else experienced this or is it only me... ??

check whether you have enabled module in xposed or not...also try to reinstall xposed framework..

He must have not enabled the module. To OP go to Xposed framework app then go to modules. Tick the module in Xposed framework and reboot. Now check if its working

In settings - apps info - go to unicon or closed framework & tap clear data/cached.
If you're rooted, find app in luckypatcher, and clear data of the app there.
This works often for me, but never with exposed framework or his modules...
Hope it helps!

I figured it out. Unicon wasn't changing phone and settings app, when I changed theme with HKThemeManager, so I think that those 2 modules don't like each others

my dream was to install and play gangstar MV or WCH on . and when i did so . MV didnt even bother to start . WCH started but everything was white ..
then i found out that i need to install a prog called Chain Fire 3D ... said it's ok then (google it . . . . )
then i found that i need to root my phone before i could use it (omg .. and how the hell can i root my phone?? *wondering*)
then i tryied to google it : and i found 754781587548751264621 numbers of ways .. as a noob with android ( was using N86 nokia before )
i didnt know what to do ,,, so my question is easy full detailed guide for rooting ..
by the way i don't have the usb cable ( left at my parents home ) and my upcoming visit to them will be after at least a month
so if i can do it without pc it would be way better
if not then some one tell me the easist and most effective way to do it and i will try it after i get my cable

First install flashyfy apk search this forum..
download cwm for this mob again search cwm in this forum..
extract the recovery.img from that downloaded cwm file..(use b1 archiver to extract).. place that extracted recovery img in sdcard..
now open flashyfy in your mob search for recovery img through that app.. flash it.. reboot phone..
now download supersu update zip google it..
place that supersu update zip in external sdcard ..
then go into recovery mode by flashyfy app..
and in recovery mode select install update from ext sdcard.. choose supersu update zip.. and proceed witg it you will have rooted the phone ..
if you have followed wat i said above.. try best..
and this way doesn't require pc connection to mobile phone by cable right?

First of all you can't install chain fire 3d app as it is not supporting you ll get surely bootloop...
second thre is three methods for rooting this device which are available here in xda forum....u can search it
Third you can not root your phone without pc...so its must

Bro u can only root device with pc.. the easiest way to root this device is Just download prerooted firmware ( available in xda ) then flash it.. easiest method... hope i helped

can you gimme a link to the best prerooted frim wire ( which contains less problems than others ) as human i know that human thing can't make a 100% successful work . so at least to be not soo bugged . and i will install it using odin as soon as i get the cable

Bro its eady.... just download the pre rooted firmware.... after then opn odin.. then clixk on pda and select the diwnloaded file... bdle aure to extract the downloaded file first... then click on start... enjoy.... hope i helped

Tested This Method For Hcl Tablet which also has no phone calling but sim supported
This Link is Only For Phone call if ylthis Work I will give For Message also.
Note if not works This will not harm anything To ur Phone.

now i root my tablet but i dont know how can i make call from it ??
i download the phone.apk and when i try to setup it , it wont setup please exaplan to me what i have to do

Download system app installer nd install phone.apk via that u will get an phone icon open nd make call.
Anyone made a phone call from an Asus Iconica B1?
Has anyone managed to do this using the method described here? In what country?

I've successfully rooted my B1-711 (RV03RC03 - 4.2.2) with VROOT, then I've replaced the Phone.apk with yours but unfortunately
it's not working, now it does not detect my SIM... Can you help me please? (and of course I forgot to backup the old Phone.apk )

Dude You have to entered the recovery area and choose from the list wipe/restore it will fix with you ,

Nope, that won't do the trick! Wiping/restoring to factory default state does not restore modified system files like Phone.apk in my case, it just deletes user data/cache... Fortunately, I've found the official firmware zip after I spent 4 hours searching on the web (Central European edition). After then, I've managed to restore the whole system.

Yes, I did the same thing following the instructions given above and now I don't have phone.apk and TelephonyProvider.apk, phone doesn't see the SIM card. Please, I have spent much more than 4 hours on the web looking for the official firmware of Acer iconia b1-711 and nothing, could you please give me the link that you have found or redirect me to where you have found it so I can use my tablet again?

Me too !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took a backup of the Phone.apk , but i cant restore it.
Now the the tablet doesn't recognize the sim !!!!!!!!
Please , if someone have the original restore image , tell us from where we can download it
