[Q] Digitizer/Grey Lines - Sprint LG G3

I'm wondering if the faint vertical gray lines I see on my G3 are a device specific issue or if everyone is having the same problem. For some reason whenever I look at the stock background or anything with white or light colors I can see vertical gray lines on my G3's screen. They aren't that noticeable, but now that I have noticed them, I seem to always notice them. Does anyone else have this problem or should I exchange my device for a new one?

So looking at a white or light background makes these "grey bars" visible?

Yes, faint but now that I've seen it already they bug me.

All the LG G3 phones have it. Some people notice them, some don't. And they vary in degree

Those little grey lines
Are your phones capacitive input sensors, its how the phone registers touch.

[Q] Purple-ish Capacitive Buttons? Get it replaced?

Hey guys I received my HTC One earlier today and I noticed a couple of things, one, there are small gaps between the polycarbonate and the speaker grill and my capacitive buttons seem to have a purple-ish hue to them. it almost seems as if they are not completely lighting up. Has anyone else had this issue?
If not should I go ahead and get it replaced?
The only reason I ask is because when I went to the AT&T store, the display model had the same issue.
By the way, they look sort of like this, except more purple:

Mine have somewhat of a hue.
They look like this:

i think thats there normal color, as for the gap you can either accept it as it is( i know i did cuz it was not apparent)
or you can get it replaced,

gear S display problem

i own a gear s and i have a problem with display. on the bottom part appeared a line from left to right and width/height of 1mm. the line stays there instead of the normal content during menu navigation.
i tried to reset or restart but no success. when the screen is off the line disappears also.
strange thing is that the color of the line differs according with the color of the screen
is it a hardware or software problem?
Just my opinion but it sounds like a hardware issue.

Is it something like that?
In my case it's vertical. Sometimes very visible - like you can see on pics below. Other time barely visible...

My Gear S had a similar white line, running vertical, on the right side of the screen.
Within a day or two, the entire screen was affected. It looked faded, streaky horizontally, still with the vertical white line on the side.
Now, the display does not work at all. Completely blank, black, no light whatsoever.
After opening it up, the liquid damage indicator is still flawless. And after putting it back together, the watch still works perfectly! You just have to know what should be on the screen.
What happened? What can I do?

OPX AMOLED Screen Uniformity?

Does anyone else notice any uniformity issues on their OPX from top to bottom of the screen? By this I mean does the bottom of the phone seem slightly darker then the top when displaying colors?, most noticeable when displaying solid grey, and slightly more noticeable at lower brightness levels. I have read many other forums regarding Amoled on Samsung devices and a lot have had this same issue which is described to be normal for these displays. I even had an extreme case when I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S, however the second unit I got was much better. Here is one of the forums below, I will also post some of the images on my screen. See the color of the green on the Google play store from left to right, as well as the grey's left to right in spotify app. From my observation the screen looks darker on the left then the right. Please let me know if anyone else notices this and if it is normal, I really do not want to go through the hassle of a return if unnecessary.

Any comments here? I would really appreciate knowing if this is normal. I am trying to deal with Oneplus support and not having a good time, I would rather not have to send this back if I would most likely get one with the same effect on the screen.
Weird, never noticed anything like that

I find out now that is between the screen and the glass, I increase and decrease image, but numbers don't move, is 208 on soft red. Thanks
There appears to be an odd purple mark in the lower right... no red... but I'm starting to see red.
You taking screen shots?
You need to take an picture of the screen with a camera not screen shot to show a imprinted number...
Thanks I will do that, also appears more small numbers under, I suppose that is the reference of the display.

Is that "burn-in" perhaps?!
OLEDs don't burn in per se but high brightness, statically still areas can wear faster and their pixels are then become dimmer than surrounding ones.

Question Gray bar across the top of the home screen

I got my 1 III yesterday and noticed just now that there is a gray bar across the top of the screen. I do not recall seeing it there before. It almost looks like backlight bleed on a normal screen but I know it cannot be that on an OLED. If I go into another program like the camera app, the gray bar goes away which points to it being a software issue. Is anybody else having this issue?
I was able to take a picture of it:

I also have it in my Xperia 1.. so it's a part of the wallpaper and I was like you but then I realized it's not a hardware problem. so, no worries! your phone is intact
