Screen protector that feels like paper - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Accessories

Hi I have just bought the tablet last night! Loving it so far.
The reason I bought this ridiculously big tablet is because I want to use it like paper and pencil (which is a perfect size for the purpose actually). However I was wondering if there's such screen protector that feels like a paper when drawing/writing with the S-pen? I have been told matte or anti-glare could offer a pretty close experience but it will sacrifice visual clarity (awesome colour gamut on this thing!).
Looking forward to hear from any of you!

No direct experience because I hate screen protectors and no longer use them but you could try playing with some different nibs in the SPen. These are design to give varying drag feeling.

Thanks for the idea. Are you talking about the extra nibs that come together with the tablet? I thought they are all identical.
I have also seen a C-pen from samsung, not sure what that does, would that be closer to my needs?
Thanks

Like you I thought all nibs were the same but in looking at this picture it seems like they have different types of nibs. So you maybe able to get some different feeling nibs from wacomb.

It should come with two different nibs, one soft-tipped and one hard.
I'll test tomorrow if the nibs are the same as the ones in my Intuos pen. If they are, you could order some of those.

I have a Intuos too. The stylus is not picked up by the tablet. However I have not tried putting the nib on the S pen

On the Note 3 you could use various Tempered Glass screen protectors that made the experience a bit more like paper, but I dont think those are available for the NotePro. (That and they're already 60 quid in 5.7". In 12.2" they'd be around 200 quid.)

So, that's a no. The tips are far too big for the Spen, and about 0.3mm too thick for the Wacom Bamboo Feel pen.
Anyone own a Bamboo tablet and have the possibility to test if the Bamboo tips fit in the Bamboo Feel pen?

VZW Tab 7.7 with Poetic Book style Case

Hi all
I tried the Belking case (too thick) I tried the Samsung OEM (to thin) and now I have tried the Poetic 14 dollar Book style case (Just Right)
This is sturdy and I feel like the tablet is well protected without adding too much bulk. Its allso very easy to slide out and place in the Brodit car mount.

Nice looking. It covers the microphone doesn't it?
I bought this case too. Preordered it before it was actually manufactured. Heres my review. Love the case.
Poetic Ipad mini case
Will this case work on the 7.7?
Looks interesting.
http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-KeyBoo...354142281&sr=1-6&keywords=ipad+mini+keyboards
I don't know but for me, book-case isn't the case for Tab 7.7. I am using a hard plastic, super slim case to cover just the sides and the back, the screen protector does the job, well, for the screen. I don't know if it's just me but book-covers are for those heavy tablets (iPad3). They made this tablet so light and easily navigable. It's supposed to be held with 1-hand. I think if I am gonna put my Tab 7.7 in a book-case and put it on a table, I would always end up pushing my tablet back when trying to touch and press the screen. lol. And it would end up thicker and heavier too. I am using a book-case for my iPad3 btw, and I don't use the iPad3 ever since I got this beautiful tablet. This is what tablets are supposed to be. Handy, light and sexy. If they are gonna be as heavy as the iPad3 and be used on a table with that book-cover, I might as well use my laptop.
yeah that case is way to bulky, i am going to try a case made for an ipad mini, as the size is just slightly off. I will just try to find a way to secure it and mod the plastic on it to match up some with the power, vol, and headphone areas.
If you want a thin case I would highly recommend the SGP case. These are very thin and still provide nice protection. They are currently on sale at SGP. I will try to post pictures later.

As mentioned, here are some pictures of the SGP case. I believe it really allows you to keep the low profile of the tab. I also hav ethe Poetic case but find it too bulky. To me, the SGP is ideal. I liked it so much I actually bought two, black and the soft brown leather.

No idea. Maybe it somehow puts your screen to sleep if you close the cover?
idk, i have one that's almost identical, different brand though..a red one..i got it for 20, but i wish i had this type because mine's not as stiff, so it kinda falls back when i have it standing up. my boss has one that looks more like this, and his is more stiff so it stands up better.
either way, it ships from china, so it takes like 2 weeks to get apparently lol
"Standard (18-26 business days)"
two day shippiung is 44 dollars hahaha and expedited is the same.
the only problem of this type case is it doesn't protect the pen. Better to find a case with pen holder inside the case. My pen is broken with this case.

You put a Flyer in this case in your pocket? You must have some big pockets. This is a large case. Very good for utility but not for someone who wants to jam it into a pocket. There honestly is no case which will also hold the pen that will fit in a normal sized pocket.

Samsung Book Cover case for 7'' Tab

So I've been looking for this case but it's always been too expensive everywhere. I found this one but I'm not familiar with this site. Has anyone ever used them before? Looks like a really good deal.

That looks pretty good. If it didn't already have the expensive cover I would try that one.
I like the way it can stand up at 2 different angles, I wish it could stand vertically though.
not endorsing brands mart, however they had the oem case for $38
not endorsing brands mart, however they had the oem case for $38. I bought one their, other electronics I bought their went yours tits up before 6 months, so caution on everything else.
I just bought this case a few hours ago from my local store here in Dubai. It fits well on my tab. But the problem is that the hinge next to the camera hole is quite narrow. Every time I close it, it touches the power button unexpectedly causing a restart. Maybe it will differ on other stocks of this item.
I'm not using the camera that much so instead of opening the cover to the right, I rotated the tab covering the lens and made it open to the left.
Be careful after a month or so you might end up with fraudulent charges on the card you use, I did.
Yea, I wasn't sure about using that site so I ordered one of the Poetic cases from Amazon. I had one on my old ASUS Transformer and liked it. Good price too.

I wouldn't bother with that one. I bought this from eBay and I can't believe how practical, sturdy and well-made it is. And matches my Tab2's color
Have a look:

I ordered this case last week, so far I like it a lot. It's slimmer than Samsung version and I like the way the felt part that covers the screen doesn't end up on the outside of the case when you open it and set it down. I was worried about getting dirt on the felt and scratching my screen.
I also like that the cover latches without needing the elastic strap, although it does have one. It also stands at 2 different angles.
It does smell very plasticy, hopefully that will go away soon.

Yea, that smell is really strong at first. I can still smell it but it's not overwhelming like it was at first. Definitely a great case for the price.

The dock. The dock, the dock, oh yeah, and the dock. No seriously dude, get the dock, it's pretty much my favorite part about the tablet.
you mean the keyboard I have got it ,
Which dock you mean and link please
Thanks
Dock = keyboard. I would also get a decent screen protector and a case. A stylus and an extra data cable comes in handy too.
Have bought this

Will go for another cable

This tablet does not have Gorilla Glass, It has hardened glass. And yes, I always recommend getting a screen protector. You would be surprised what dust will do to a screen over time. Would you rather take the chance of not having one? They are rather cheap on Ebay too.
A protective case, of course... Well, at least if you really care about it.
Not sure I am allowed to do this here but I'd like to save someone some money. I ordered a brand new gumdrop case for the tf300 and its just sitting there. I haven't touched it its brand new. If anyone wants it you can email me: [email protected]
Its 49.95 on amazon. ill do 35 shipped to you. (in the US)
Thx
I have a matte screen protector and dock, willing to buy a car charger maybe

Definitely a stylus and a carrying case. Dock or BT keyboard if you are going to do a lot of typing.
In my opinion screen protectors are a waste of money, unless you use it in very harsh environments or treat it very roughly. Or if you have kids who use it. I have had my tablet for over a year now and use it a lot. I don't have a screen protector and never have. It doesn't have a single scratch or flaw on it, in fact it looks like the day I bought it.
But as I said, just my opinion.
Well the screen protectors are ugly, but tis tablet is NOT protected by gorilla glass and I got one nasty scratch and several dot-like flaws just by using it with a case with a bit nasty insides. By the way I got a slim folio case by roocase and it sucks. Looks fine, but the holders on the sides are literally dangerous and too tight. Once I dropped the bag with the tablet inside a little bit and the holder just broke the part of the tablet off (glued it back lol)
Stylus recommendations?
So does anyone have a stylus that they'd recommend?

[Overview] Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 - Poetic Slimline Case

I just received the Poetic Case and they have definitely made improvements over the last case that I owned from them (Nexus 7 2012 Model)
We are all familiar what Poetic Case's look like, not much different except for the Logo. The new logo is quite stylish.

Another great addition over the older model that I had is that they have magnets built into the front cover so you can fold it up and it latches together.
I absolutely love this case for it's minimal yet stylish design, Poetic has done it again. And yes, the cover does have the open to wake functionality. Also the magnets are strong enough that the cover won't flap around.

Sadly, I do not have a food scale and the package it came in was a generic plastic sleeve bag with no specs.

If you have a postal scale or any scale that weighs in grams, that would work too.

I bought 2 styles from the manufacture website and the Slimline arrived with that dead fish smell but I did not use it for about 3 days and now that smell is gone. The other one I got from them was the GraphGrip and I love that one more.
I have this exact case in FULL Leather
so the one I have looks EXACTLY the same however the only difference with mine is the entire case is leather, not plastic in the back, and it weighs 7.13grams. hope that helps. And i Love it as well, looks and feels great, not heavy at all, and definitely NO bad odors. lol

I bought the poetic slimline case also. After having the samsung case on my note 8 I didn't like the poetic case. It doesn't sit the tablet up well in landscape mode and it's also a bit bulky. Makes getting to the volume and power button a little bit of a pain too. So I bought a Samsung case for my tab pro. Much happier now

This case is great except that when you fold the cover back the sharp edge is a bit uncomfortable on your skin - I.e., its sharp. Also there is no stylus holder and a stylus comes in quite handy to keep the screen clean.
