I have a Mega i9205. I bought it second hand with a broken front screen. I bought a new LCD/digitizer off Ebay and fitted it OK.
I had no problems with the phone until I received an update for 4.4.2 KitKat last week. I installed it and since then my touchscreen does not respond at all. I tried a factory reset but this did not help.
Any ideas? Can I restore 4.2.2 stock ROM? I tried to using Odin but get a Fail error
My phone is NOT rooted.
I am not technical in any way so please go gentle with me!

No nothing you can do. Look at my thread in the general section. If you still have a time frame for returning the screen you have on now I would do that. There is an oem screen available for $90 on ebay

hey guys I know im new here but I figured out how to fix this issues a week ago I had no idea it is such an issue I am uploading a how to video to youtube as we speak its processing right now this method works on all the megas except the sgh-i527 due to there not being any recovery! Hello every one and thanks for reading my thread, i have a problem in my xperia Z2 with wireless range. i have an iphone 4 who can detect my wifi in all places in my house but Z2 it's not, it's have a really bad wireless range , so is that a factory mistake from sony or what? i have try marshmallow also but the same thing , so let me listen to your opinions and suggestions & thanks
definetly a hardware issue, it must be the antenna i believe, i have a z2 and my aunt has a iphone 4 and they both have similar signal range

I already install this update but nothing change. Sony mobiles have a very bad wireless range compared to Samsung there is difference

First thx friend for ur help, i already trying this and still the same problem my phone not have a problems like reconnect it's just have a bad wireless range, i have bringing an other Z2 mobile from my friend with lollipop and the same problem i can't capture my wireless outside my room which the router installed but other devices like Samsung & Iphone can get two to three signs. anyway Sony have a bad wireless capture hardwares most users say that..

You might have a fake ROM. Use a flash tool to flash the official ROM into your device. Likewise, even if you have the official ROM on your device, you should definitely reset it.

HI All,
I have been using Realme 1 (6GB , 128GB ROM) Black Diamond for past 15+ days.. Bought it on 1st Online sale at 1230 PM
I have no issues with the phone whatsoever, except for below
When I use the phone even for few minutes, I have to switch off WiFi , else its completely unbearable
I get headaches, there is a slight electrical shock sort of vibrations and also Eyes become sore.
I am not kidding, I have used Samsung phones , Huawei Honor phones and never had any issues.
I am forced to switch off WiFi , else phone is extremely difficult to use.
Pls advice any troubleshooting tips to find the issue.
Pls share the call center number for me to follow up. I searched on Google and didnt find the number
Do you guys face any issues pertaining to one mentioned above ?

I think it varies from user to user.I remember seeing a review on YouTube in which the reviewer said the same thing.i.e,he is feeling strain in his eyes...

I don't feel it. If you face a shock sensation then go ahead and return it at amazon or ask realme what to do.

It could be due to high SAR value: 1.4W/kg for head
Electromagnetic hypersensitivity.. ? Pls refer to better call saul

Yep it was the review of realme 1.
No as of now I don't feel anything and I am not getting any headaches...
HI @all
Updates: Did a few more experiments
1) disabled 2nd SIM and straight off the bat there was lot more radiation
Also
2) Did SIM swap at Vodafone for both the SIMs (i.e got new SIM with 4G enabled) and enabled both the SIM again
And now no more headaches/eyes strain/etc
All is well now.
We can close this thread.
Summary : Do a SIM swap if not already should you experience high Radiation.
My realme narzo 30a causing severe headaches as well what 2 do??

hello guys. im technichian in a it store and before some years they sell redmi note 4 (snap dragon) so some redmi note 4x that return broken etc stay for spare parts to fix other etc. eventualy those phone end. so i took the last 2 that i could fix from all the parts that left behind. one of them was unlocked everything perfect the otherone had mi cloud lock. i flash a wierd beta rom and works but when i turn the wifi on it ask for my account. can i do something about this? if some1 need proofs i can upload or send the box with the phone and matching imei. thank u for ur time guys. i just want to unlock the bootloader and flash other rom.
(is wierd to call the customer who had it before 2.5 years and ask him for the account)
