Recommend me a front and back protector... - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

When gaming, the front screen becomes unresponsive and my fingers stick to the screen.
What protector would you recommend for smooth gaming/scrolling?
Thanks fellow xda members.

These are my favorite. They are not truly anti glare. There is some reflection. But there is no pixelization or distortion. The surface is pretty smooth.

Try tempered glass.
I have glassm for now, but I gonna try the mocolo one.
Finger slips very good, and you can use basically anything to control your ultra, like a knife or a screwdriver
And yeah, if you drop your ultra the protector will brake in worst case. Your screen won't.
The film will not be able to save your phone.
Glass protector is cheaper than a new screen for sure.

I was less than impressed by mine. After trying glass, there is no way for me to go back!
BTW, on Amazon I am one of the reviewers that gave it 2 stars. Not my cup of tea but to each its own.

I bought the GearMaxx Ultra Clear. Came with two front and back protectors. Was easy to install and is hard to even tell one is on.

I've been using Skinomi TechSkin since 2004, and have never regretted installing their protectors. Great value and lifetime replacements.

Camera already has minor scratches?!

I just noticed that my camera already has a few minor scratches. As does my screen after like 2 days without a screen protector, what the hell?! I've had this phone for maybe 6 days now and it's already showing wear like this, I honestly don't think this phone is going to hold up for 2 years.
Even though the display glass is in fact Gorilla Glass, that doesn't mean for one second that it's scratch PROOF. Scratch resistant? Yes. Regular glass is also scratch resistant to a wide variety of items, Gorilla Glass is just more resistant, not scratch proof. On both my Captivate and Infuse, both of which have Gorilla Glass, I still accumulated some minor scratches.
Also, the camera lens is probably not Gorilla Glass, so it is even more prone to scratching than your screen.
If you are so worried about it, they do make these things called screen protectors. If you're obsessed with the glass feel, look into the SGP Glas.t glass screen protector, though it is quite expensive at 27 bucks or so. Otherwise, the SGP Ultra Oleophobic has a slippery feel, and is probably as close to the glass feel as you're going to get.
Another good one that I highly recommend is the Realook crystal clear:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/REALOOK-AT-T-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-SGH-I717-screen-protector-Crystal-Clear-2-PK-/260963172366?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3cc29e000e#ht_1118wt_905
Same glassy feeling, and 2 for $15, and I find them very easy to apply.
Since you get 2, if your first install goes well, you could also cut out a tiny square for your camera lens.
I've tried literally 20 times to cut out a square camera shaped screen protector and completely ruined all of my extra HTC Desire Z screen protectors trying to make one.
I already bought a new screen protector, I didn't have one on for like 2 days because the one AT&T sold me was complete utter ****.
Well thanks! I just ordered those and realized the case I bought like 4 days ago I never paid for...

Yeah but if they get worse and my pictures look like this 6 months down the line then they'll probably ruin my enjoyment of the device.

if it is Gorilla Glass, i ain't impressed at all with this stuff. that said, my scratch is my fault, not the inferior G.G. crapola.
if i had a screen protector from the start i'd be golden. same with you m8.

Screen Protector - Sweaty Thumbs

I was wondering what screen protector I can get that can glide easy on my fingers that get sweaty often as it sticks to the glass quite often and sucks with swipe thanks!

For my sweaty thumbs should I get a wet or dry application on my screen protector?
Bump before I go to bed.
I will probably get the flex HD from I think spigen it is a wet screen protector which will be good for me please feel free to comment with any other suggestions on what screen protector I should get!
Bump. I really want to know what the best screen protector is for me! Thanks

Sorry for triple post but just another bump seeing as this is a pretty simple question :good::good::good:
As mentioned above, the matte screen protectors are the lowest friction ones. But the trade off is that they reduce screen clarity, because they diffuse the light.
I'm also looking for a new screen protector because I bought some Terrapin ones that fit well, but they have more friction than the screen protector on my old phone (can't remember what that one is). If you find a good non-matte protector then let us know here

Would the SGP Flex HD be good for me and my sweaty thumbs ^_^?
I want a screen protector that I can easily glide across the screen, but still be precise
EDIT: I think this screen protector has the orange peel effect isi t a big deal or?... will that actually be better for less friction for my fingers to glide easier?
I've heard that the SGP Flex HD gets the orange peel effect can anyone help with getting a good quality screen protector that can easily glide across the screen any recommendations please!
Bump is the sigpen screen protector flex hd good? Because that is what I bought.

Anyone buy a screen protector or bumper for their gen 2? I definitely want to pick up at least a screen protector if not both.

Best brand/quality screen protector : atFoliX - Made in Germany.
Been using their products for years on many of my devices (phones, tablets, watches), but have had hard time to find those for my 360 2nd Gen, guess it's too soon... Ended up finding it on Amazon.de http://goo.gl/wGGkuv
Don't waste your money on cheap unpopular brands, you'd just like me, throw things in the garbage
Nillkin tempered glass screen protector
Thanks for the quick replies. Beaubin are you from the US? Just curious about time frame for delivery. I might end up getting both of these, I have a tendency to scratch things so backups are nice.
I too have been looking for a bumper protector. I can't believe third party makers aren't jumping on it.

Does anyone have a photo with a screen protector on? I feel it make look a little cheesy.

Tempered Glass Screen Protector. Not really noticeable but I've been having issues with Auto brightness since I've added the Protector. It just always stay extremely dim so now I leave it on "2" instead of Auto.

I purchased this bumper case last night for $8 and will report back, with photos, when it arrives.
http://www.shapeways.com/product/KMXRCKRGF/moto-360-gen-2-bumper-case-46mm-mens-short
The seller had various colors to choose from in both 42mm and 46mm sizes.
The bumper case arrived today. Fits nicely:
The material is slightly on the rough side, but that is mentioned in the description of the item.
My Moto also has a Slim 9H Tempered Glass LCD Screen Protector on it.

Mate20 pro panzer glass screen protector.

Ive got my mate20 pro a while ago but I'm afraid to open the box till I have a screen protector on at least.
Read alot of negative reviews about tempered glass.
Anyone tried the panzerglass case friendly screen protector for Huawei mate20 pro?
Any finger print problems?
Case friendly? How about uag cases ?
its garbage. too thick to use
I haven't used a screen protector in 5 or 6 years. What do you do with your phones that you are afraid of not having one?

The only phone I know of that had a serious problem with the oleophobic coating wearing off was the Pixel 2XL where it wore off for many owners after 6 months of normal use. Certain types of heavy use probably does wear out the coating eventually--I hadn't really thought about that.. Thanks for the response.
I am currently using this TG and it fits well and is very case friendly. I've been changing cases from time to time between Fusion X, Rugged Armor and Liquid Crystal and never had any issues with the glass.

I just reapplied the ni-shen liquid and glass to my mate 20 pro. The first time I had a bubble that bothered me. Just a very small one at the bottom edge, don't think it was even in the screen area. But I applied it just a hair low and it started to pull off on the corner from the case.
Anyway, this time it seems to be perfect. I did have to lift it back off and remove a bubble or two with a paper towel that I had laying under to catch all the tons of extra glue that flooded the buttons and bottom the last time.
The other thing I would mention is that I don't think it's actually glass. I think it may actually be a plastic or similar. It's very smooth to the touch. So feels great on use. It is a bit bendable before applying, that's why I think it may not be glass.

FPS works with full adhesive glass only. It won't work or will be working erratically with full tempered glass that has adhesive on the sides only because the center part doesn't stick to the screen itself.

Best screen protector [India]

I have read reviews which says offical one is waste of money. So I am bit confused which one to go for. Can someone please suggest which screen protector are you using and it would be great if it is available in India.

I have ordered Full body coverage protector and last night I applied Clear screen protector from GadgetSheidz. Delivery was very fast (1.5 days). This was the first time I was applying screen protector to any devicce so it took almost half an hour to apply it cut to cut and now it looks good. Overall I am satisfied with the quality. I am no longer worried about minor scratches now.

First thing it’s screen protector not tempered glass. The screen protector is completely fine, it’s self healing technique makes the fingerprints disappear and sometimes it feels like the phone is completely naked and nothing is applied at the back. It is that thin.
