Adjust brightness on camera? - Sprint LG G3

Is there a way to adjust brightness on the camera?
Sent from my LG G3 via Tapatalk Pro

Anyone? Trying to Google it now and not finding anything...

Adjust brightness on the camera? Can you be more specific? Are you talking iso or white balance or what exactly?

Like just brightness altogether. The LG G2 camera and most other Android cameras have a setting where you can make your picture lighter or darker. Can't seem to find anything like that on this one.

Brightness.

Stock camera app doesn't appear to have such option... You're better off installing some third party app that has that feature. The phone itself takes really good photos both in low light and bright light... But if you're in need of adjustments on your photos I would recommend using picsay pro its a really great app.

Camera quality in Free x10 beta 4

I recently flashed free x10 beta 4 with hotfix 1
Its working fine except I don't really appreciate there camera. The images taken are sometimes blurry..
I noticed that when I first switch on camera, the image is more odd a yellow color and after about two or three mins, it starts to turn more of a natural white color.
I really don't like there background of it... and also the inability to view images straight from the camera after taking them.
Can I adjust the things on the camera? I am seeing lots of missing features compared to three stock camera.

Agreed. 2.2 ROMs can't expect too much.
As far as stock camera features are concerned u should straight head to wolf's ROM! Though ui's gonna be the same. And for 3rd party apps cam360 and vignette r really good, but terribly slow @ 8mpx.
Btw I prefer cam360 because of the hdr.

You can enable "STEADY SHOT" function in camera settings, which should eliminate some bluring. I have it set to 1/2 sec.
For color adjustments you can try fiddling with the WB (White Balance) and set it accordingly to the enviroment.

Best Camera App for Atrix?

Which app do you use for regular photo taking? I've tried MIUI Camera App, Stock Camera App & Camera Zoom FX. I was happy with Camera Zoom FX at first but then I found some bugs! Like it doesn't stop the shutter sound. Besides, when I took some pictures today with the auto focus many times the eyes become horrible! (just like ghost's eye! terrible! Can't be repaired with Red Eye Fix)
So what do you reccomend? Should I stick with the stock Camera App?
Thanks!
Stock app works great for me.
Add Paper Camera (at 10 cents) for cool effects and I am good.
A lot of ATRIX users like the DROID 3 camera app in some of the modded ROMS.

I use Camera360 as daily use. Light HDR is the best setting for normal daylight shootings.

Thanks for the suggestion! Installing Camera360.
Can someone upload the Droid3Camera.apk?
I've tried stock, MIUI, Zoom, and CM7. CM7 is my fav followed by stock. Stock has a panoramic camera which is nice.
I got the best results with droid3 camera app.

Automatic photo enhancer?

Hi all,
On the iPhone, there is an option to automatically enhance a photo after clicking on it in the gallery, and it will fix red-eye, colours, brightness and contrast. Is there something similar for Android that I can use to enhance the photos in my gallery? I've been searching but I *don't* want an Instagram-esque filter app (there are hundreds of those out there) - I just want a simple single-click photo enhancement app.
Any recommendation please?
Thanks.

Darker Photos using Stock Camera

Using default settings on the camera I get darker photos. When I increase the EV exposure to +1 it works better but not always. Skin tones look all white pale in that mode.
Not sure what are the best settings for stock camera.
Previously on my ZTE I have used OpenCamera app and it took decent photos. I have not tried this yet on Max 2.

Google Pixel 2 modded camera app works on the V20! Looks AWESOME!

Has anyone tried the new Pixel 2 modded camera app on the V20? It looks AWESOME! Auto mode is much better now and the photos look much better thanks to the post processing effects. It works great on the V20 however there is no manual mode or wide angle. I also noticed there's less of a lag when taking photos compared to the stock camera app. This could be a game changer... someone should do a comparison video with the V20 + Google Pixel 2 camera app versus a 2017/2018 flagship.
Here's the link (the only version that actually works for the V20):

Thanks to XDA developer B-S-G for the app!
There's already a discussion about this here,

It does work,,, crashes sometimes when rendering or wjen you accidentally rotate the screen... But the BSG versions work just fine... Only time it crashed on me was when rendering Burst photos
Which apk are you referring to? I have the H990ds maybe this is also a reason.

Portrait only works if you have a human face on the frame... It wont work on inanimate objects
Both BSG and Arnova apks, only Arnova has a higher likelihood of crashing than BSG in my experience
And my phone is also H990DS
Heres a photo i took, it saves both original and portrait mode
Yup, I've tried both, BSG's and Arnova's version, Arnova's crashes all the time, BSG's works fine, and takes same AMAZING portrait photos!

What settings do you guys use? Mine seems to be failing to take HDR+ pictures with pretty much any settings i set... Especially with the recommended ones from the thread
Pixel 2 XL, didn't even check if hdr is on
How do you check it?
Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
I mean all the settings, not just the model
It's the only thing I changed, everything else is default.

In the app settings, you have to set the 'Config camera' to something other than 'No HDR+' and adjust the other settings too (but I can't seem to get the mix right with BSG). After you do that and force close the app, you should see when you open the app, at the top of the screen, a new button 'HDR+' set from auto to on and you're good to go, if you got the settings right. It's really a life changer, takes pictures so much better than the stock camera app, but you don't have the manual controls.
I seem to have gotten right a 'recipe' with Pixel 2XL, but I wanna try to get it right with N6P to compare it with the older version of Arnova's which works wonderfully.

What you're talking about is Arnova's version, I'm using BSG's.
There's no setting for config camera, only for model.
And there is hdr+ control when you're shooting (on/off/auto).

that's an awesome photo. Which apk are you using? I'm using GCMod5 5.1.018 but I don't see any option for portrait mode.
