How about setting up one with bloatware and one without? let them choose..
as for myself, I prefer a rom that is fast n fluid without these bloatstuff...

You´re a great dev, fast in updates, smart and young, too. But our society these days is more like "take all, give nothing" and I´m sorry you get to feel that. Just because many guys don´t appreciate your work properly, it doesn´t mean it´s a great piece of knowledge and work done by you neither it means they do not appreciate the work itself, they just don´t express it! :silly:

Flashed this rom now.Bootanimation is branded.Now gonna restore my apps and remove bloatware.Will report after sometime.

Sorry, but this is not developing, it's not even modding. Everybody can do these changes in 3mins using any root explorer + Play Store.

Maybe it s easy for you but there is not so many people insstall application and move them to ROM memory and make them defaults.

was it to discourage him to stop working?... Isn't that easier that we don't like something then we just move on?
I think OP is in learning phase... Everyone starts with those little mods and gradually gets better and makes new inventions... None is born developer...
Do you even realize that he might have spent hours of trial and error ?...
During this time he might have flashed the ROM atleast 10 times to make sure it looks good and attractive so that users can enjoy a new thing...
All washed by your unthankful comment more like a slap...
Anyway, mate it's a sharing community, share with others and be thankful for anything new you get...

My friend maybe you didn't flash a suitable Kernel ?
Did you use the Kernel i put there Aire Kernel ?
Aire has ICS and GB Kernels maybe you flashed wrong one ? Flash the one i gave link.. I tested many times.. There can't be problem about that..

In forum there is already a topic about flashing kernel. But i say fastly. Phone - settings - Applications - Developing - USB Debugging active then
Download flash tools - open it - connect your phone by usb - Click flash - fastboot mode - left upside have restart Fastboot mode and then see the phone light get blue and click flash kernel and choose the kernel you donwload and when you see flashed it s ok ...

after downloading the file splitter and joiner program, just open the Uphoria v1.zip.001 with it. It will join both the files.
if any problem to download the program from the website, then do tell me. I will upload the .exe file
now backing up my current system, I will flash by flashtool and try your rom. when tested some time I will write some feedback.

the message "error occured while tethering" was there since i flashed the .89 fw by Tim_Italy....its ws still there even after i flashed the stock fw .54...so i dnt knw wether every1 will get the msg or nt...after that i also changed the SI version and flashed it the clean way (through PCC) but it ws still there...even that had a lot of bloatware...m currently running it on .54 without any prob
jst to inform...this rom ws originally built on .89 so has the build.prob of .89 but i have been running this rom since a week or so on .54 without any issues

hoppefully you fix this bug in .89 FW
EDIT: now im on your rom! will try all okey

My first mpressions on your rom are than i feel inspired with the framework and the themes,he wallpaper choose in all themes are good and brilliant.
My suggestions for next rom are if you can put aroma installer and put elements how cybershot 5.7.2 is really good ( in my old rom ) and update your build.prop with the last JDWalker 1.9 build.prop seems amazing brilliant results. If you can put a choose in aroma for governors, maybe can add more stability and battery friendly ( deppend on own chroose.

No bro im only experience the bug with the turqoise theme but not a problem at all, all the rest ar0e good for me, if you can delete othe apk's( i considered any apks how bloatware ) but dont worry all can delete the undwanted apks haha.
If you can,can add an option in aroma for debloat completly your rom. ( in my choice i delete thoose apk, all related with other keyboards except voice search and the original keyboard xperia, maps, street, talkback, and other i dont remember, i delete apks from / data partition. Your rom now is light and fuctional for me

thanks...and i was about to debloat it but nt every1 would like apps like timescape and all gone, so i thought that i will add an option for it in the v2 of it with aroma...this is just an experimental version to test my ROM...the future version would be much more stable and better

I've managed to get a temp solution bypassing sony ericsson supl server. Goes like this:
Change your gps.conf file, in SUPL_HOST=supl.sonyericsson.com > SUPL_HOST=supl.vodafone.com
and change your cacert.txt file in /etc/suplcert/ by my attachment.
About joining the 2 files, if you use linux, you can join them manually by:
cat FILEONE.001 FILETWO.002 > JOINFILE.ZIP
easy huh?
BTW: just downloaded this ROM, but i'm trying a little more another. In about a week or so I'll post a review here

Turqiouse Theme Fix
1. download the attachment
2. replace it with the BlueTheme.apk in system/vendor/overlay/framework
3. set permissions to RW R R
4. Reboot
"Error occurred during tethering" appears whenever tethering is put on with data off.
So, IMO there's nothing to fix unless you just want the notification to not appear. Tethering works anyway.

Are you sure of this? Because, even I use this setting, but no crash! Please check for any misconfiguration.... And how is the ROM so far? Any better? Are you really satisfied? Thanks....

For integrity check the hashes:

Rename the file to a small name(like update.zip or whatever you like)
Copy the zip file to root of Memory card and not into some folders(important!)
NOTE: Backup everything you want since this rom formats your phone completely!!!
Turn off your mobile
Now press volume-down and power button at same time
Your mobile boots into CWM recovery
Use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select
Choose to erase data and cache(Factory Reset)
Select Advanced=>Choose wipe Dalvik Cache
Time to install the ROM
Choose to install ROM.zip
Install rom.zip from SD card
Choose the <zip-name>.zip
Confirm Yes to install the ROM
Installation begins!
Let the installation finish
Choose to restart after installation completes
Please be very patient! The first boot takes longer which is completely normal...

What is not working? OTA updates
What is working? Everything
Known Issues:
1.) When i check for system upgrades in about menu, system hangs. why?
MIUI is not officially supported for Q900. Hence OTA updates are
not available for it. But please note that there will be updates
and you need to visit this page for frequent updates...
2.) There are lots of Bloatwares and i hate it!!!
Don't worry! Even i hate that too! Hence 99% of the bloatwares
can be uninstalled in apps section.
3.) FM radio was not not working when it was system app. Hence it was
made as data app, so be careful while uninstalling useless apps
4.) I cannot change the ringtone in settings?

Unfortunately NO! I have tried porting those but ended in softbrick! I am going to release a more recent version of miui....

So do I Slow down my friend! I am trying hard to find a good kitkat ROM, but nothing available... Everything is buggy or leading to soft brick..... I promise you that as soon as I find a good stable bugless ROM, I will upload one soon! I will be uploading a recent version of MIUI soon.... Thanks man!

Havent had anyone test on n920i model...Make a back up and flash and just make sure you flash your model kernel after you flash rom and report back

Ive used Roms f/l/i/c/g on my N920T and just flashed my device kernel and they worked Im love trying new roms, so i make back up and flash away!!! Thats the beauty of a back up, if it doesnt work!!! Give it a shot, flash rom, your kernel and let me know my friend! @kongy2d aswell!

Thanks for the feedback I haven't had any issues with keyboard, but let it settle and let me know... Also try going back to 1 animation scale in dev options, its a smoother transition all around! I set it a .5 by default because people like fast lol

It will have a lighted up tile next to the contact and you have to slide it out to look like that

Yes, Tmo does not have data icon in toggles! You can use dr. Ketans toggle tool or sqlite editor to add it and other toggles you like
Hello People of XDA, I just complied some tweaks of build.prop and initd from some roms like odexlite credit goes to @Aria.A97 it is all his work I just combined them together which makes device smooth and battery friendly.
This script works on S8 ports and stock roms and all stock based custom roms. You can also flash this after flashing any note 5 rom from their forum but first flash note 5 porter here https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/samsung-galaxy-s-6--s-6-edge-unified-development/note-5-rom-converter-android-7-0-t3587589 then flash tweaks.zip and at last flash magisk v12 zip then reboot to system and you can update your magisk from app.
for all exynos 7420 devices

BTW. Your OdexLite could do with an update. Also could you make sure in the next update that if you choose flat then you get flat build.prop and not all edge props.
alright guys sorry to @Noxxxious i did't knew about your kernel's privacy ok i have removed his kernel and @Aria.A97 as i have mentioned in post that i took these tweaks from roms. Yes it means i took them from your rom too. I forgot about giving proper credits and @UltraGamerHD these build prop tweaks works really fine at least for me i was having battery drain on every s8 port rom and it fixed that and gave me good battery timming.

I was not questioning the validity of the tweaks included. I was asking what tweaks were included, I wanted a little specificity. However you should read before you post.
