Recently I've noticed that my repositories for the YP-G70 have been forked which usually means that someone plans to do some work with the device. I like when that happens! When more people work on a device, awesome things start to happen.

It seems that the ROM being developed is called "DayDream" and although I am unable to find a central location where this ROM is being released, I have been able to glean a few facts about it.
It seems that the developers are from South Korea
The ROM project is located here: https://github.com/daydream-cm
They have also forked the YP-G1's repo's as well.
Here is one of the developers twitter account where they have posted a few screenshots of the ROM on a different device.

As I said, I have no idea where they plan to release this ROM; or if they plan to release it at all but it looks likely and the ROM looks interesting :laugh:

in next days you will see here a new rom for GS2.
It is based on AOSP, AOKP, CM9 and and other sources + some personnal developpement.
The result is a really usefull and efficient rom that you can use either if you are a developper of an all day base user.
You will find a lot a feature. The rom is fully configurable.

Good luck with your project but xda doesn't approve placeholders so this thread is about to close unless you provide a download link with a working rom.

Typical MacLaw eh, posts something and then doesn't deliver...seems like an emotional fellow.... If he has a working cm9, why not just release it? My guess is he felt a bit lonely and needed some internet attention. :laugh:

We were bit starting to count on Maclaw again since he mentioned a "fully working CM9 like gingerbread" but he says the release will be only if it's better than existing ones and he's not releasing.. so I guess it's still not fully working

The title says it all, anybody working on a public release that actually works? I tried with help to port my own, but it turns out I'm not smart enough to get it stable. There was a build on XDA, it got shut down. There's another build by a US MIUI site, but it is getting minimal support. Any good news for us MIUI fans¿

bump it to the top big MIUI fan here and currently running "Outlaw Miui" and want progress. what we have is good but, there is massive room for improvement. yes I know "do it yourself" if I could I would and the thread would be in development and would be AWESOME.

He was banned for using a puppet account after his previous account was banned. Not necessarily for Kanging anything.
I don't know the details, just what the MODs have said while locking these threads.

I noticed that ManelScout4Life seems to be posting nightlies of the Vanilla Rootbox 4.2.1 ROM under the "quincyatt" header on his goo.im section (although they don't appear when you "filter by compatible roms".
I downloaded it, but searched all over the interwebz and couldn't find a damn thing on it...and since I'm not a huge fan of blindly flashing ROM's, I wanted to see if anyone here has taken the plunge and tried to flash it? I know he did the voting thing the other day, but I have no idea how that turned out...so I'm not sure if he's just intentionally not posting it here, or if they're just test builds that aren't ready for full-on testing yet.
Either way - I have read some cool things about RootBox, so I'd love to give it a whirl if anyone else (Manel included?) could confirm that it's not gonna take us to Bricktown or anything. :laugh:

I'm running Dirty RootBox on my N7 and its great. I haven't heard or seen anything of it for the i717.
