Exactly. I have ordered the stickers only and hope I can make it fit somehow. Nothing on eBay yet for the F460 unfortunately.

Look for eBay seller supercosmos/superkosmos. I've purchased the specific F460 LG QuickCircle back cover that supports NFC and Wireless Qi charging from him. Just got mine yesterday, and using it with the LG Wireless Qi charger, works perfectly. The LG QuickCircle case will say "G3 Cat.6" on the front, and on the inside of the cover, will also says "Cat.6 only".

In have ordered it already but directly form a Korean website. Im still looking for the original back cover with Qi charging, I'm not a big fan of the QuickCircle case.

No the one for F400 is different.

That wrap looks nice. This is a little of topic but what carrier do you have? I'm looking at picking up a F460 (I miss my Korean G3) and I want to confirm that it works stateside.

I'm not in the states, using thew 2600 frequency.

The contacts are in different places. I ordered the special q circle case for the cat 6 G3. This is the only way that I have seen so far to get qi on the F460.
That's what I mean. Will get the circle cover tomorrow. Would love to use just the sticker.

Did you order the cat 6 one or the normal one? If you ordered the cat 6 one then you can use it for qi if not it's pointless because the other ones won't work for qi or NFC because the contacts are in the wrong spot. If you have the correct case you can just remove the sticker and put it on the factory back and it will work assuming you lined it up properly. I'll post pictures when I get mine in Tuesday/Wednesday.

I honestly hate the design (and price) of the Quick Circle, but love Qi charging. Any chance we'll have any other (cheaper) alternatives, or will the best option be to buy the QC case and cut off the cover panel if you dislike it?
I've bought the quick circle case and plan to take out the Qi charging (&NFC) out of the quick circle case and stick inside the stock cover in place of the NFC only sticker.
Are they just stickers? Might do the same myself...

Well I ripped the coil and wireless charging 4 node things from the quick circle case and put them in my 400k and now I have wireless charging! Pretty painless and I am a bit of a bull in the China shop but all good and working.
The backing already is on ebay. The ones that have the QI charging have "NFC" in the item's title. Just make sure not to get F400 version which ha the pins lined up differently. Also, it seeems that the Verizon versions have a slightly different coloring so you'll have to take it out of the circle case for those.
Yes but these backs are slightly thicker than the normal backs. And have faux leather back. Depends what you like.

well if you buy the AT&T LG G3 you get half off accessories. including the g watch and the quick circle. I will be getting both and i will be cannibalizing the quick circle case...that is if there are no other options. I actually like the other lg case options...to bad no USA date

I was going to do the same, but someone pointed out to me that the ATT Quick Circle is POWERMAT, not QI. So it will only work with Duracell Powermat chargers. Sigh. The search continues.

I've been trying to find a Euro case for a week now. Nothing available yet. I'm willing to bet we'll see a quickcircle case for another carrier with QI before I find a European back.
There is this that looks decent ( Ebay Back ) but I'm waiting to find a cheaper one, or for them to offer it in black so I don't have to cannibalize.

Thats not such a bad price...just take the sticker off of that one. I wish i could order a Burgundy lg g3...thats a hot phone. I just ordered the one above. I am hoping to pull the charging & NFC out and put it in my original a black back. Do you think that is an OEM back?

Wow, they jacked the price up. I guess they saw an opportunity with all the G3's shipping now. I paid $40 for mine but I had a $38 eBay bucks credit so I am out of pocket $2. I don't think I could have even paid the $40 actually. Now I just have to not screw this up when I pull the coil.

Hello,
I thought I'd start a thread for when people find a wireless charging backplate that works with the Verizon G3.
I really hope they just make life easy and sell an identical sized wireless backplate so we can use whatever case we want. They really blew it.. But to be honest if I have the spare battery and external charger it's probably easier to just pop a fresh battery in when needed and the wireless is kind of unnecessary.
This isn't really in the right section.
I ordered the gold back that many AT&T owners bought on Monday. I'll let people know if it works. It doesn't say it's shipped yet, but he left feedback the day I bought it so I assume he just doesn't label it shipped like some other sellers. It's going from California to Virginia so I probably won't have it until Monday.

LG makes a slim case backing that supports wireless charging. It is a case / replaces the back panel. It is on their site and shown as a pre order on some websites such as mobilefun.

I posted in the main g3 thread, and figured I'd post here as well. Verizon now has the quick circle folio case with qi charging on the main site. It isn't on the business site, but they were able to take my order over the phone no problem.

Good to know it is indeed qi. There were a couple rumors that it was possibly powermat. Most people didn't think that, but it's nice to have confirmation.

AT&T doesnt use Qi, so this wouldnt work for VZW users. AT&T uses powermat.
I only get a 15% disc on the folio case from vzw.com so it would be $47.69 with tax .. do y'all think its worth that?

Yes but before people realized this, they bought a qi international edition back on ebay. It's never been confirmed that they work and aren't fake somehow because no one without an AT&T version has tried it. It's qi, not powermat.

You probably have selected the wrong case if your looking for the qi version, if you want the charging version it is $59.99 base. with 15% off pre tax it should be $51.00

I was considering doing the same, but I'd hate to put out the cash and it not work. I mean Qi is just one part of the equation, are the pins in the same spot?
I have the Verizon case in my shopping cart but I don't really want the circle case and I'm still looking for instructions for how to "transplant" the wireless charging bits to the stock Verizon back.

That may not be released. Wouldn't make much sense to make a custom wireless charging adapter for a phone that already supports wireless charging. The backs on ebay probably will go down eventually. I got mine for $30 but it's gone up since then.

And why there is no wireless charging out of box Even if VZW just get a 10% attach rate, it would be $3,000,000 in revenue if VZW sold 500,000 G3's. That would be about $2,500,000 of pure profit (that is after product, box and shipping/handling costs).
Took a look at the Verizon LG G3's today. They do not have 4 connectors, only 2 that I assume is NFC. It did appear to have 2 coils on the back cover but I could easily be mistaken. Here are a few pics of the insides of the Verizon G3:

Which chargers are you all using?
I have tried 4 so far and only the Nokia DT-900 works for me.
I tried an Incipio Ghost 100, PowerBot PB1020, and Anker Slim as well, but all kept reporting to put the phone in the hot zone and wouldnt charge it.
I've heard good things about TYLT, but can't see spending 50+ for a charger.

I bought the sticker from ebay, installed but i really dont like how it work, i have to put the phone in the sweet spot to work ( probably could be the charger) but my nexus 5 charge from any angle.

Use a different Qi charging pad. The LG G3 is picky when it comes to charging pads.

Only a buck more than the 1 from China, and it gets to you a lot faster. It's working fine, and is no thicker than the stock NFC sticker (which you need to pull / scrape out of the back before you install this one) so it adds no bulk.

@ piperj All gone ASHinStL got the last one
Ordered this one off eBay and couldn't get it to work for anything, NFC is very weak compared to the stock cover. Asked for a replacement and installed it, same thing. Using this puck that I got with my S5 , maybe I'll try a known working pad, I got a feeling this one is very cheap.

I actually bought this case. It is really high quality, but I don't like the wallet on the back, or the fact that it doesn't cover the top or bottom of the phone. The manufacturer said not to remove the wallet flap because there are glue marks.

Yes it works fine.
AWESOME mount, works with most TPU cases or on the outside of "thicker" cases; also Qi still works just fine.

I ordered this product - it does interfere with Qi charging. There is no placement on the phone that the steel plate does not interfere with. It's a shame though as the mount is awesome and holds the phone well. But if you want Qi charging as well, this isn't the product you're looking for.

Qi worked fine for me, it's not think enough to interfere. Qi is capable of charging few mm above the coil

It does not work for me. I have this case http://www.spigen.com/brands/google/nexus-6/nexus-6-case-neo-hybrid.html and the plate inside. None of my Qi chargers will charge with the plate in place.

did you stick the metal plate on the outside of your spigen? or did u just place it between your phone and the case like in the video? I'm considering this mount...but not sure i want to stick someone on the outside of the case permanently.

Just knowing how Qi works, my gut instinct is to not slap a piece of metal in between the coils regardless of if it starts charging or not.
