My HTC Desire x currently locked orange Romania doesn't accept unlocking code generated by IMEI.
Bootloader is unlocked, custom recovery, custom rom.

You can try to S-OFF your phone and get SuperCID...

I am trying, so far, no success...says no adb drivers, no adb connection and i use step by step this thread...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2655703
I've tried with supercid a while ago and IIRC I couldn't unlock my Orange-locked DX either .

Someone know how to unlock sim, without use IMEI unlock code payment)?
My original HTC Desire X had Hboot 1.25.00, Ratio 1.15.40.04, CID ORANG309 (lock sim).
After a few weeks I have Unlock HBoot, I made S-OFF, it´s Rooted, I have SuperU and i change CID to 11111111
I have flashed Custom Kernel ViMiRo ROM v1.0-1 (ROM1.10.401.4). and ROM 2.20.401.6_Deodexed
Now I´m stuck unloking Sim.
Can you help me?

Shouldn't SIM be already unlocked because you have SuperCID?
Is it possible that unlocking bootloader, rooting may affect network unlocking?
I have an HTC desire X , locked on Orange Romania network. Now I moved to UK, tried to unlock it at 3 different stores, they told me they can't unlock it using that IMEI generated code. My question is why?
Phones is unlocked, rooted, custom rom MySende DX 3.0

I tried a lot to search my RUU on htc official website and similar other websites also......
but i cant find any RUU and my phone is also not giving me unlock token even when i'm trying to unlock it directly.....
So... can anyone please suggest me any other ways to unlock my bootloadr and if there's any way to root my phone without unlocking my bootloader so it will also be very helpful...

Brought from Canada this smartphone, he was locked on Rogers Canada. When I put my sim card requires Pin code to unlock the network.
I unlocked bootloader made S-OFF, CID change on the Super CID
I instal a firmware InsertCoin 3.0.8 for Zara_UL (Android 4.4.2 Sense 6.0)
But always requires a PIN code
Someone may suggest what can be do? Or is nothing can be done?

Same for all htcs i've done. register at htcdev
unlock bootloader
get code from their site
has instructions how to unlock bootloader
then swap twrp recovery
install su.zip
