[Q] LG L9 P760 (2013) How unlock bootloader? - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

How unlock bootloader on this phone?
adb reboot oem-unlock = 0 effects.
Reboot and nothing else.
Some other method?
I have read the entire internet and have not found answers ;/
On other forum i found statement: On p760 (2013r+) Bootloader it is not possible to unlock.
Please, help me and unlock this "contraption".

Can you give me download link for step 3 (Nandroid)? All links is dead ;(

There are problems installing adb drivers in Win8.1.
The initial rom v10a had an unlockable bootloader. And then the first v20 revisions, I also unlocked and rooted under v20b last year. But did they really remove this option AGAIN? Do they suffer from borderline or what?

Bootloader unlocked, thx

so much resistors, can't you buy one?
Napisane używając SwiftKey, zaszyfrowane Enigmą i wysłane kablem Ethernet

This reminds me of dvd player region lock hacks. These often require dozens of key presses on the remote, cos it's hard to find out after random hacking, which combo actually does the job. Here you can simply add the values into a single resistor, later.
Also reminds me of the chain involved to clean the barrel of the gun in the army.

if device boot direct in fastboot mode means ur already unlocked
really would be nice.. is there a way to check the bootloader if it's already unlocked or still locked?

Hi Sicness, two ways:
1) put your L9 in S/W mode, if it's unlocked there will be a little test saying it.
2) with the hidden menu 3845#*760#

Hi Sicness, you need a PC and an USB cable:
you have to turn off the phone and remove the battery,
put the battery in again, hold volume up and plug in the USB cable, you'll see S/W Upgrade. (If you see the LG logo repeat again) .
Cheers. Good luck.
Edit: for the second method you must enter the code in your phone as if you were doing a call.

Description:
Utility to disable signature verification / unlock bootloader Lenovo K900.
Important:
Unlocking is possible only on firmware Android 4.3 (preferably the latest 1418-1419 and flashed using MFT). On already installed firmwares Android 4.2.2 or Android 4.2.1 unlock is impossible. If you have a installed firmware Android 4.2.2, you can make a nandroid backup, flash VibeROM 1418-1419 using MFT, do unlock and recover with the help of a custom nandroid recovery. If you are on Android 4.2.1 (ROW), you can try to do the same thing as with 4.2.2, but there is no guarantee that the firmware will start. If you are flashing the firmware via inb (only for Android 4.3), of a custom recovery, or via OTA update unlock remains.
Instructions for unlocking:
- Install adb / fastboot drivers for the device;
- Connect the phone via data cable to the PC;
- From the phone settings include "debugging USB";
- Run the utility and wait for its implementation. The phone will automatically restart in droidboot.

Really great job! Thanks!
I have been waiting for this for so long!
So far I was only able to hack the kernel module signing verification before.
This will enable custom kernel. Super!

Hi, as far as I know, in settings you must select CP USB (the CP image download option isn't in my L9's 4.1.2 menu neither).
You need to select the appropriate serial port.

You need the unlock code from Sony.
http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/
Use the blu (bootloader unlock) function from flashtool.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
Edit....it wipes everything so back up what you want to save, and a nandroid made before unlocking will relock. Use an app like titanium backup or mybackup pro.

in order to permanent remove the message, go to root/cust folder and delete every file and folder from there (all content)
the message will disappear and wont ever come back after a reboot that is
please note that you need root permission for this so you either get the firmware rooted and use a file manage to delete content or delete it from TWRP file manage in recovery

I'm looking for exactly the same O2D KDZ as I did the same as OP and don't want to lose my guarantee by rooting.
Besides these annoying errors, 10b seems more stable than 10d.
How to find this KDZ on LG's servers?
Thanks!
I searched the web for a long time and tried some tools to find the v10b O2D Germany kdz but unfortunatly without success
I would be very happy if somebody could help us to find the kdz! :fingers-crossed:
Good news!
I just started LG Bridge and searched for an update. Got newest v10e from O2D automatically installed, everything is fine again, no need to root, wipe whatsoever!
