Hi;
Was reading your post.
Enter: "Bin4ry" in XDA-Search Box.
Its SUPPOSED to be able to root
this phone. Have had no luck with
it as of yet. Another program you
might try is: KINGO, which claims
to be able to root 98% of any Android
phones. Let me know how you made
out. If successful with any of these,
PLEASE let me know step-by-step
how you did it!!

I have tried numerous rooting methods on this phone since I purchased it a week ago. ALL have failed, even those which were once confirmed as successful. Unfortunately, right now that means that this phone cannot be rooted if it is running on the latest software update, 4.4.2.
So far I have tried and failed to root the device via:
RootGenius
Bin4ry's method
iRoot
KingoROOT
I have yet to try cydia impactor. But I will post the results tonight when I get off work.

Assume still no root for Hydro Icon-4.4.2?
Is it safe to assume no one has found any working root for the Kyocera Hydro Icon running 4.4.2 KK?
I have tried multiple other methods multiple times (King Root, Root Master, Master Root, Poot, Towelroot, Framaroot, Universal Root, Kingoroot, vRoot, SRS Root, Easy Root, Root Genius, iRoot & Cydia Impactor) but it was all in vain, is there anything I'm missing?
Add Bin4ry's method to the list.

Alpha Tekk, I have try ever know source to root this phone as well. With no success. If find out any that work with the update 4.4 KitKat please let me know

BLU Studio 5 HD LTE Y534Q - Root Method

I have seen roots posted for the Y530Q but not the Y534Q. I tried Framaroot (1.9.1). It only gives the Aragon option and fails. Kingroot both offline (APK) and via PC fails. The RootGenius method posted here, also fails.
Kingo Root worked for me:
Uninstall any other methods you have tried.
Install the adb-driver-installer here.
Install and run Kingo.
Check your Superuser app after the root is successful. You may need to allow it to update. If so, choose the normal method.
I hope this helps.
This method Works!
Thanks man nice little tool.:good::good:
Note: Mine didnt read the blu phone till i rebooted my PC.
KINGO IS A FAUX ROOT METHOD (Don't Use)
Use WondershareGO which you can easily find a .torrent for on KAT or TPB and use the "One Click Root" Method w/o any data loss and a TRUE rooted bianary!
Need Help
i tried this method and the PC seems to recognize the phone, also the kingo ROOT program and even it install a APK on the phone, tried 4 times and even reboot the PC but it doesnt seem to work it always fails, do i have to do a special process or someting?

[Q] Rom for hauwei raven H892L?

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a cyanogenmod rom that worked with this phone. Thank you.
UNLOCKING raven H892L
ME too. How can I root or unlock this phone.? Help please.
Try Kingo Root
do a google search for Kingo Root.
Its the only one I could find that worked but i still have a few issues.
Cant update or install recovery.
Cant gain Root for some apps.
Cant update SU.
Cand update Busy Box.
But one caveat is that i Rooted mine using Kingo around mid 2015.
There have been several updates to Kingo since then and while none have fixed my problem it may be able to do yours without error.
Make sure you use "Kingo" and not "king" or some other similar name as there are several and it can be confusing.

Root access for Posh Mobile s240b

I just purchased a Posh Mobile s240b but have been unable to obtain root permissions. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might obtain permanent root without using any of the "One Click" root tools? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Android version is 4.4.2
P.S. I tried towelroot and framaroot but neither support the s240b.
I contacted Posh Mobile just to see if they might be willing to offer a root tool if I agree to forgo my warranty. They replied back suggesting that I use Kingoroot, Kingroot, or Iroot. I looked at all three of those options but found that all contain malware/spyware or maybe even viruses. Anyone have any other options for me to investigate?

Rooting RCT6773w22b (RCA Voyager II)

This is NOT to be confused with the RCT6773w22 (Notice the "b" at the end of the model number for the tablet I'm using)
Been searching on and off for about 6 months now, with no luck.. Have tried all the usual suspects (FramaRoot, iRoot, KingoRoot, KingRoot, etc) to no avail. KingoRoot even said it was able to be rooted, but fails everytime. iRoot says it succeeds at rooting (Android application only, PC application says failed)
Root Checker on Android says that it's possible and has been done, but hard, and of course they give you no instructions.
So I guess I just wanna know if anyone can point me in the correct direction of where to root it, or if they don't know, someone who can help me get it rooted.
Edit - Assuming this is all correct, here are the specs.
Kernel 3.10.54

Android 5.0
The ROM is just whatever the stock ROM is. If needed, I can extract it if I'm given a tutorial (Unless obviously it's not something a standard person can do)

Here is the link, just download it
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/kingro...-release/kingroot-4-9-3-android-apk-download/
Install and when opened it will say not root. And it will ask try root. Select it and requires internet for rooting
