STEP 4: Extract "AccuweatherTablet2014_BG_WQXGA.apk" from Files.rar(in the weather folder) and "MagazineLauncher.apk" from TAB S.rar(in the launcher/priv-app folder)
STEP 5: open "Xposed Installer"... press Install/Update from Framework tab.. Grant root access then reboot.
after reboot open "Xposed Installer" again and go to Modules Tab
and check "S5 SystemUI Theme" "App Settings" "Tinted Status Bar" "Wanam Xposed" and then open "S5 SystemUI Theme"
after opening it check these:
Menu Key to Recent Tasks
3-Dot Menu
Tab Pro recent apps
and press Restart SystemUI.. then reboot
if after reboot nothing changed.. its a bug..
this is the solution:
open S5 SystemUI Theme from Xposed Installer..
open 3-Dot Menu BlackList... and do nothing..
just reboot..
STEP 6: open X-plore and Grant it root access
go to /system/app and delete this file:
AccuweatherTablet2014.apk
then go to /system/priv-app and delete these files:
S-Voice_Android_tablet_vlingo.apk
SecTabletMyFiles2.apk
STEP 7: go to your downloaded apks folder..
Copy S-Voice_Android_tablet_vlingo.apk to /system/priv-app and change permission to 644
Copy SecTabletMyFiles2.apk to /system/priv-app and change permission to 644
Copy SamsungMusic_tablet_20.apk to /system/priv-app and change permission to 644
Copy SystemUI.apk to /system/priv-app (attention) this will give you a FC error...
reboot your device with long pressing power button and after reboot change SystemUI.apk permission to 644 then reboot again...
after reboot open X-plore again and go to downloaded files and find "AccuweatherTablet2014_BG_WQXGA.apk" in the weather folder...
and rename it to: "AccuweatherTablet2014.apk"
Copy it to /system/app and give it permission 644
[NEW] This is the final step... [ Attention:.. You must do all the steps above before doing this step!!!]
installing Galaxy Tas S Original launcher on your device:
Before that... install a launcher like nova launcher for emergency use
delete "MagazineLauncher.apk" from /system/priv-app/
go to downloaded files again.. in launcher/priv-app folder you can find the "MagazineLauncher.apk"
Copy it to /system/priv-app and give it permission 644 then reboot...
after reboot if you see the Force Close error and the touchwiz launcher doesn't open...
you must go to Settings/General/Application manager and find touchwiz launcher in "ALL" tab...
help: (you can use nova launcher for emergency use here... or go to settings from notification panel..)
then clear data of it and press Home button and choose Touchwiz launcher
[NEW] Video App... [Edited]
Delete "SamsungVideoTablet.apk" , "SecVideoList2.apk" and "SecVideoPlayer.apk" from /system/priv-app/

its name will be "Grayscale Toggle"...

This part is a help for those people that want just Galaxy Tab S Launcher...
if you are on the other mod and any other Rom you should know the Galaxy Tab S needs some apps and files and doing some changes to Run..
at the first your device must have UXmagazine launcher
then you must change the buttons of your device by doing the Step 5
install the "S5 SystemUI Theme.apk" (the link is available in Step 2)
then you have to activate it by going to "Xposed Installer" and in the Modules tab you can find it... activate it and open it by touching it...
1----> Menu Key to Recent Tasks
2----> 3-Dot Menu
3----> Tab Pro recent apps
all of these options are available in the S5 System UI Theme than you installed
and all of them must be activate (check)
after reboot this step is done.. and you can see the buttons actions are changed...
(for the example when you press the Menu button in your device.. it must show you Recent Apps)
OK...
the next thing that you should know that is the Galaxy Tab S launcher will not run without its Original "AccuweatherTablet2014.apk"
installation tutorial of this file is available is Step 7
and after that you have to complete the final step to run...

Because i didn't have P605 to try this on it.. But...
I guess it can be compatible with xKat... you can try it with your own risk :good: :silly:
before that i am sure that you need a firmware that has the UXMagazine launcher on it..
does it have new lockscreen settings like cards, other effects like color pop etc ?

Yes it is true... because you don't have to modify framework... touching the framework makes your device unstable and will not boot any more...
All the uploaded apps are not necessary..

Did you do step 5 and step 7?
I tolled in the thread... if you don't do any step... the launcher WILL NOT RUN.
Read the thread carefully ... line by line... do anything i said in there...

i tried a little.. the settings app of the Galaxy Tas S will not work on Note 10.1 2014 because it has different method and coding...
the only way can work is decompile and modify original settings app of Note 10.1 2014 and make it dark..
the other way is porting the original firmware of Galaxy Tab S Completely to Note 10.1 2014..
i didn't tried second one yet..

open Xposed Installer... in the Modules tab make sure that the "S5 SystemUI Theme" is checked
then open it..
make sure these are checked too:
Menu Key to Recent Tasks
3-Dot Menu
Tab Pro recent apps
then go to the down and press "Restart SystemUI"... Grant it root access and after that reboot your device..
it will work now..
if after reboot nothing changed.. its a bug..

Background can't change in the launcher directly. I got here a error message that the app is not installed. Via the settings it still works.

possible the launcher for other non xperia phones? ex: motorola. i use sxs launcher, but is old my phone (defy+) accepted T gallery and very good.

Go to android settings >> app, and in sequence:
- Clear Xperia Home Preferences data and force it stops
- Clear Xperia Home data and force it stops

- Go to Home Preferences again and restore your previously saved preferences

all working fine with me the backup too !!!
Mine is not working. I replaced Home.apk and my phone freezed and it restarted itself and now my home.apk constantly force closes.
I already had a thread for this, but whatever it doesnt bother me.

I removed the home directory, and I change the permission as well. After moving Home.apk to /system/app the phone just freeze and reboot (don't have chance to move the other 2 apk), now I can't get back to the system, whenever I unlock the phone it just says Xperia Home is crashed. So I can't enter Settings anymore. How can I recover? thanks.

You can try installing any free launcher using Flashtool,then move stock/gx one to /system/app.And try again.

Flashtool recognize my phone but all buttons are dimmed except the flash one. But eventually I manage to restore the Home.apk as follow:
pull down notification, go to settings, storage, click on music/photos, launch file explore, there I restore the Home.apk with yours, thanks!

To get the launcher and widgets work properly on 4.4 or any other KitKat based ROM, you need to find seclauncher2.apk in /system/app and move it to /system/priv-app.And give right permission RW-R--R-- THANKS "ThatGuy94"

Those who already have XPOSED FRAMEWORK installed on there ROMs just Download & install the ICON THEMER and GALAXY S4 THEME,from instructions below,no need install the xposed app again and no need to reboot 2 times,Choose the ICON THEMER module from Xposed app and apply the S4 theme in ICON THEMER APP and reeboot.,{{{THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE ""EXPOSED FRAMEWORK"" ALREADY INSTALLED ON THEIR RESPECTIVE ROMs,FOLLOW THE BELOW INSTRUCTIONS}}}
For touchwiz HD icons, you have to Install EXPOSED FRAMEWORK on your ROM, if u don't already have it on your rom..get it from here - LINK (1mb file) and install the APK
now INSTALL 'ICON THEMER',download it from here LINK..(1mb file) and install a free app from the market known as "Galaxy S4 Theme HD Free"(8mb) here is the link - LINK
after installing all three app's,OPEN the XPOSED INSTALLER app from the app drawer and click on INSTALL/UPDATE tab,it will ask for reboot.Dont Reboot now, go to the MODULE tab and check on ICON THEMER in the modules list. NOW REBOOT.
after reboot,open ICON THEMER app and select "Galaxy S4 Theme HD free" from the list.
Reboot..and enjoy the HD TOUCHWIZ ICONS

Yes it can be installed on any 4.1 and 4.2 deodexed rom..of ALL xdpi phones.

about the s4 launcher
I have also tried many s4 launchers from xda but all the launchers have the same bugs that whenever I have organised the applications in a folder in the app drawer...after 1 or 2 hr or after a reboot..many of the applications came out of the folder and some are there only....then I again have to organise it.. Is this bug does not exist in your launcher..please check it....if not..then I will install it...lot of thanx

yes i can provide you 5x5 grid launcher..but the problem is that ,some widgets can't be resized on TW based launcher..and the widgets remain in 4 horizontal grids..which makes it look odd on 5 horizontal grid launcher..therefore i lept it 4 in my launcher..but if u still want 5x5 grids..i can make one for you..

why dont you use a DEODEXED rom ?? thr are many roms available...if you ddont want to...then try deodexing your rom(many tutorial available on XDA) ..it'll be good ,as you can apply mods on your rom after deodexing.

YES there is...u just have to go to app drawer>press menu>EDIT>click on the folder>click on the folder name and edit...
and please try everything before u ask... *peace*
I mean renaming app label on home screen, e.g rename "Titanium Backup Pro" to "Titanium". Is it possible? This is possible in other launchers like Go or Apex and Nova.

I tried xUltimate, Did the APP and Framework Job viz. 1st and 2nd Option, but when it comes to 3rd option -> Deodex APP it says "No File Found.." with red letters and comes back to the main screen... Any other tutiorial.. Gonna try the manual way but can anyone write a script for deodexing it?? It will be so helpfull...
edit : Now getting Error Deodexing ApplicationGuide.odex** and getting error of BOOTCLASSPATH but dont know how to fix it in xUltimate as I dont know the smali and baksmali work properly. TuTs are there but not able to pass through I'm not able to understand. I've init.rc and BOOTCLASS PATH from the ROOT of the Phone. Can anyone help me. I can provide app_orgi(application original with .odex corresponding) and fram_orig(original firmware files with .odex corresponding). I just need the deodexed files so I could push it in ROOT. hope that works On Stock ROM Rooted.

Going to try that and let you know tomorrow. I decided to flash the two zip files directly through PhilZ recovery since I am currently testing the S5 Project v3.1 rom and you said it would work out okay on that one.

Already test on S5 Project v3.1 and it's fully works, but you need renames app manually following A5 Addons.

Try use the new version of ploiki ROM it's more stable, im using ploiki rom to but with new version and all works fine

Just flash A5 Addons coz the apps is same, only update some apps and launcher, no need uninstall note 4 addons.

Yes, but u need use s5 port Rom first like S5 S-T-E Rom or S5 Mini lollipop.
tested on lollipop port rom ver 2.5
all working excellent accept the touchwizhome apk...still the same...

Sorry friend i can't do that coz S6 Apps only support for Lollipop
but if you want try mode some apps like S6 you can try this ROM

First of all HUGE thanks to sktjdgns1189 for giving us TW lollipop. Without his work this thread would be meaningless to our devices at this point.
Apps are ported from TAB A and since that is (4:3 1024x768) device a lot of work and resizing was needed.
These are not flashable (except quick connect and email) so you need to copy files manually with right permission. Remember to backup and remove old apps!

yes ..the Permissions for folders are rwx - rx -rx and for apps rw-r–r
the new launcher is agly ..no A-Z Reorder....big space between apps...

1: A try with launcher from Besonderes.....
with the new my file the folder left down corner don't open
2: with the new music we don't have widget
3 :with the new splan we have saperate widget (not the big deal for me ..maybe is better this way) we cannot put widget in fist widget page

1: They've must changed package or activity for new. Haven't check that.
2: Widget is there but for some reason it won't show for old users. You can test it with new guest user. After factory reset it shows up for all accounts.
3: For me it looks like Samsung might ditch magazine launcher for next gen tablets. This new launcher is pretty much same as we saw in S6.
I will check that ES explorer option when i get home.

Of course that will change your Google search bar widget to the S8 Rounded Semitransparent One! (If your have the recent version)
WARNING!
This method involves Root and basic Android Knowledge! If you don't know what to do or don't understand, ask before do nothing. And always Backup your old things if something later fails
WHAT INCLUDES MY COLLECTION?
Pure S8 Touchwiz (With Blur Effects)
S8 Touchwiz Without Blur + Flipboard Briefing Addon (More faster!)
S8 Touchwiz without Blur + S8 Upday Addon (More faster too!)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Download the launcher you want first!
Put it on your Local Storage
Now open your Root Browser and locate the new file
Go to the root of your device and then go to system/priv-app folder
Check for your old TouchWiz Launcher and Badge Provider
Delete the Two Folders and create a new ones, then you will put the new necessary apks your have downloaded
Check if all its correct (A folder for every new file you put, for example, TouchWizHome2017.apk in TouchWizHome2017 Folder, also, if you download the Flipboard or Upday Version too will require a new Folder)
Then apply the permissions ("Rw-r-r" for files and "Rwxr-xr-x" for folders)
Then all if its applied, reboot your device and enjoy

If you get error and you are using STOCK SAMSUNG MM ROM, then GO HERE
In some devices maybe the Touchwiz Launcher apk can be installed manually like an upgrade of existing apk, then its more easy to do
If you do all the Installation Method and stop working the TouchWiz, go to settings, search for "Home Touchwiz" Or "Start Touchwiz" and clear Data and Cache, then open again and it should work like a Charm!
This Launchers work in Samsung MM Based Roms, not AOSP or similar

Thank you for the feedback! Try to get a Log of the Error to catch the FC. Maybe you are right in the Framework.jar edition, I will try to edit the N910F Stock MM Jar in a couple of days, if you can send the Log to verify the error its caused by this.
1 version only s8 launcer swipe up (app drawer) and long press not work, badge provider not work.
2 version s8 launcer+Flipboard only hide app and swipe up on app (app options) not work, badge provider not work
3 version s8 launcer+updplay FC.
For badge provider i test the n version (s8) and work

Thanks for your feedback. Will try to take a look into the launchers (Maybe S8 Bugs your phone because of the Blur Addon). If you can take a Log, better

You are great, thank you a lot! I will inspect the errors and try to patch framework.jar to work with Stock Samsung MM and also update the OP. I will too enable SMusic S8 for stock compatibility too (2x1). When I finish all, both first posts will get an update and I will notice it.

Your version? Try clear data and cache delete old app Copy new set permission rw r r and owership 1000 1000 (system) reboot
If continue ti not installed try switch english language and reboot or install as normal app

Its work for fix you try the version +Flipboard without install if you not use and use a badge provider upload by me the new version but Hide app and Longo Press on app not working for the moment, home setting and app drawer switch no mantain setting.

Well 644 Octal permission its for files and 755 for Folders (Check all its correct). Like in said in my 1rst post, Wipe Data and Cache from Setttings-App Manager, and try again. Submit your fedback again if you continue experiencing FC. (Also put the Software you're using)

I come back to you to tell you that S8 Touchwiz + Upday install with good authorization 644 for apk & 755 for files.
All the office disappears I even apk like supersu that disappears.
