I have a HTC HD2 purchased from ebay. it has Miri Rom but i want to flash with a stock rom. is there any chance to know what rom was on it at beginning? please help me!

I think it is impossible to find out what was originally but you can go to HTC site and look for ROM to download. You'll be asked for your serial number and then the latest official ROM for your device will be offered.
I want to unroot my HTC Legend because im going to sell it.
Now the problem is that i dont know what rom i have to put back?
I just want back the stock froyo rom without root permissions.
Right now I am running Cyanogenmod 7.1 on it with CWM. Its simlock free and unbranded.
I bought my htc legend @t for telecom in The Netherlands. with the provider vodafone.
What RUU do i need? or maybe just a rom?

Thanks for the answer, i already found out.
The problem is that i dindt had HTC Sync anymore. So i just flashed the r.0.8 rom and installed a specific version of htc sync (an older version something like 2.0.33) Only with this combination the RUU accepted my request and started to put my stuff back to factory settings and ofcourse now its unrooted. Thanks!
I want to unroot my legend + put branding on again so i can send it in for repair - does anyone know the easiest way to do this for vodavone AT so that HTC won't recognize it was rooted - thanks very much
install the Vodafone_AT_GER_Mobilkom rom from here, then it should be branded & unrooted again:

no it's just the original windows installer from htc. download it, then connect your legend via usb and then run the program on your computer

i have been looking around on the internet but i am unable to find the original rom, the Htc Aria currently has s-off and cyanogenmod 7 on it and i need to return it to stock, any help would be great.
Please can some one help I need a copy of the UK t-mobile or UK international kernel.
I tried to flash a kernel on my phone now it does not see my network TMobile (UK)

Did you make a nandroid back up? or RUU back to stock. Hope that helps.
