Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone here has one of the dk30 offbrand docks they sell on eBay from China for ten $?
Are these safe to use without frying the battery? Anything else worth mentioning about them?

I bought the one from nsioutlet on ebay. Unlike all the others, it comes with an adapter that lets you use it with a case on. Been using two of them for a month without issue.

I ordered a 2amp usb car charger but I don't want to use the factory cable I use at home. I just want another one. Does anybody know a cheap cable to buy from somewhere? Does the usb cable have to be sorted?
Also I wanted to purchase a dock for my note. I don't know which one to get? Should I get the oem one or the one with an extended battery (even though I don't have an extended battery..)
Any opinions?

I got one for my droid razr on amazon for five dollars it chatges and syncs. Check em out i know it should be one for you device for cheap

Min link provides prity much worldwide shiping for 3$. Would say very cheap.
Recived the item; tested and works great. Can run iGO in car with no problem or note that Fler uses more power then it charges.

It just bugs me to pay $15 when 5 volt versions of this go for 2 bucks. It's just a different just as cheap voltage regulator. I'd be perfectly happy with a micro USB connector although the micro MHL unique to HTC connector is a plus.

I bought the iottie dock on amazon. Works great, and really sticks to the dash. 20 bucks.

If you are concerned with a desktop/multimedia dock, we are kind of SOL at the moment if you want any kind of functionality that goes beyond charging the phone.
If you are looking for a vehicle dock, the best option IMHO is a an Infuse car dock. It's $5 if you can find one. It don't get any cheaper than that.
Bought one of these phones and very happy with it. In every model I like to have a spare housing because I hate marks on phone (when I have them i like to replace housing). Already managed to buy the frame on ebay but I don't find battery cover anywhere . Any of you know where I can buy them? Many thanks

Like I said, works great. Unlike other chargers which are more finicky with the G3, you just drop your phone in and it seems work every time.

If you use a third party case make sure that it works with it. I'm using a Spigen case and it works fine with the Itian. I researched a lot of cases and the G3 is generally known to be a finicky phone with chargers (especially non 3 coil wireless chargers) and with cases even more so.
