CPU Overclock
Not every phone can handle this frequency. If you get frequent reboots, try using a lower frequency. The OC can also cause faster battery drain.
CPU Governors
The default governor is ondemand, which is pretty stock and works well. I recommend using intellidemand, because the second core works better with that one.
I/O Schedulers
The default scheduler is CFQ, which works pretty well.
Sweep2Wake
Sweep2Wake allows you to turn on unlock the phone by sweeping your finger across the capacitive buttons from left to right.
Sweep from right lo left to lock it.

0 = disabled
1 = sweep2wake and sweep2sleep

Can't unlock my encrypted data partition after rebooting, says incorrect pin. Flashing the original telus stock 4.4.2 fixed the issue.

It's not working yet because it won't boot with sense5.5 kernel. I will upload one for IC today.

It could be caused because of not including my kernel modules. I will upload one with the modules and see if it works. Thanks for reporting this.

Weird problem :/
After flashing KofilaKernel V2 for Sense 6, the battery icon is always shown as charging and when I go into Settings -> Power, it says that my phone is Charging (USB) even when unplugged.
I'm running InsertCoin on Zara_UL.

I ve got the same issue and the battery status led stays orange all the time.
I know, it's with the fast charge code, I did something wrong. I will release the fix with some additional features today.
Also I'm making one for CL.

Installation
ROM Installation:
update your firmware (if you didn't make this earlier) to newest 11.77.3504.00U_11.25.3504.06_M (link above, rename it from PG86IMG_3.xx.xxx.x.zip to PG86IMG.zip and put it on sd)
restart Evo at least once after update firmware, wait for full system boot
copy yodas_ICS_vX.X.zip to sd,
boot to recovery, and install yodas_ICS_vX.X.zip
ROM will format dalvik-cache and system partition,
wait for boot, first boot can take few minutes

if you didn't made full wipe of data, and you had tweaks on previous ROM it can work like you have
i work on v2.0 on 3.28.401.1 and maybe beats audio

Not sure whats in the scripts but my popup widgets stop working saying "application not installed" after flashing this app.
l2m, l2w, s2w, s2s, dt2w etc all work. l2s i couldnt get working.

I have since reverted back to the faux kernel. but when i flashed JMB it uninstalled my popup widget app which has a big presence on my homescreen. I'm not sure if anything else disappeared, I didn't do much digging beyond that.

I am having the same problem here. SuperSU confirms no root and I'm also having sdcard problems.
That with root i can confirm, but all other stuff working for me well.

IF wifi not working and radiomodule, please flash kernel modules manually: copy them to archive with ROM (the rom u use) in folder system/lib/modules and reflash ROM again without wiping.
Thank you, first wifi and radio didn't work. So i put the modules in the ARHD.zip and flashed it again. Now it is working.
Glad to see further development for hox+ well surely test soon

At first, thanks for the kernel! Finally we have s2w on sense 5 roms ^^
but there are some "bugs" i found:
- new governors: I think only abyssplug works as intended. lultactive and smartassv2 force enable 4 cores and 1.6GHz cpu clock frequency and pegasusq seems to kill trickster mod app. also sometimes reboots when setting those governors
- time in cpu state is not available
ondemand governor seems fine, so i'll stick to it for now.
also a suggestion for the kernel modules: nik3r made a module injector script for his kernel, maybe you can implement this too. would be much easier because flashing modules didn't work for me using venom flasher.

That Venom tool is not the best solution.
Flashing modules via CWM is the best way, you will have to erase cache/dalvik anyways and go there...
and also getting rid of them when the new version comes in...

Why is the file size so big?
It includes an uninstaller so also packs the stock boot image and corresponding modules. Plus the Aroma installer adds to the size. Essentially the actual kernel is only ~7.5 MB

How to use gesture wake?
The necessary toggles are located at /sys/android_touch
doubletap2wake > 1 to enable
> 0 to disable
orientation - This will allow you to set in which orientation Sweep2sleep must be enabled
> 0 for both
> 1 for portrait only
> 2 for landscape only
pwrkey_suspend - If set to 1, pressing power button to turn off screen disables s2w/dt2w and pressing the power button to turn on screen re-enables s2w/dt2w

Are you planning on releasing a version that doesn't use Aroma? I don't see the point in using this Aroma as it just adds an extra burden (and size!) on the user having to work their way through the install process - I simply want to click on the zip and it installs, job done.
Thanks anyway for the kernel as its always good to see new things being developed for the Flo.

The AROMA installer is a place holder. Additional configuration will be made available later. Also, it is easier to uninstall the kernel if necessary.

The one thing I've always hated about Aroma is tweaking the settings after, always seems to be overwritten or just not sure what is being set.
Will give it a go.

Kernel 3.4.10 works best in my testing. Upwards introduce changes I am not very comfortable with as they tend to cause some battery drain. At the moment, I do not intend to go further than that.
The aroma will only be a helper of sorts. I will be releasing an app to help configure the kernel soon. Right now, the aroma installer just flashes the kernel. Everything else is default set in the kernel.

Disable MPDecision boost. That will allow you to set a lower min. 918 is MHz is only for the boost period. It pulls it back at other times.

Q:What is the performance control app?
ANS:I have included this app to tweak the kernel settings efficiently. You can enable everything you want.
Q:What's the difference between m(mainline) and e(experimental) versions?
ANS:M builds are made for performance and battery and only include necessary features. E builds are meant for experimentality and they include M features+Many experimental features. E builds have many tweaks but it might drain your battery. E builds might not even boot, so flash at your own risk and take a backup before flashing.
Q:What is F2FS?
ANS:F2FS is a file system exploiting NAND flash memory-based storage devices, which is based on Log-structured File System (LFS). The design has been focused on addressing the fundamental issues in LFS, which are snowball effect of wandering tree and high cleaning overhead.
Q:What is UKSM?
ANS:UKSM is the highest version of KSM available for kernel 3.4, which deals with merged pages effectively. Kernel SamePage Merging (KSM)lets the hypervisor system share identical memory pages amongst different processes or virtualized guests.
Q:What is sweep2wake/doubletap2wake?How to enable/disable it?
ANS:Sweep2wake (S2W) allows you to wake up your device by swiping your finger across the capacitive buttons from left to right. DoubleTap2Wake (DT2W) allows you to wake the device by double tapping the screen. This feature might not work at all times, so please don't complain.
To enable sweep2wake, go to sys/android_touch/sweep2wake from any root browser and enter whichever value you want(values given below):

ANS:It is basically the algorithm used for compressing the kernel. For now, I use LZMA.

I'm quite busy with other kernels right now, so I'll add it by tomorrow or day after tomorrow, and adding those features is not so easy. And I already told you bln needs ROM support also.

2)Also is under clock working?
I didn't add settings for over clock, I thought it would work.. I'll see to the overclock thing.
And please attach a logcat, when reporting these issues.
Stock kernel, if anyone wants to revert, simply flash through ODIN.

As discussed with khasim wifi was working in 2.0 perfectly..
I did not have wifi so couldn't test..

I made one commit to improve WiFi speed, so I think that's affecting it. I'll revert it.

Frankly speaking these all does not affect speed as after all it all depends on once internet speed.. ?

1) In the previous release (2.0) it working perfectly.
Instead, with new release (2.1), I can't turn on the wifi.
