Hello, I have some questions about this device.
- Can I use the eraser of this device together with the Bamboo Stylus Feel? i.e. The former for erasing while the latter for writing and drawing.
- Under the new Samsung virtual keyboard for the PRO 12.2, we can opt for handwriting recognition. While using this device to write, can I also use the eraser?
- On the PRO 12.2, is there an offset issue? Do we have to make adjustment or it works fine right out of the box?
- Has anybody seen a white version?

My wife is looking to upgrade her phone and wants a smartphone but not an iphone. After looking around she's deciding on the x10 mini series.
She's a bit old skool and still prefers predicitive typing and not a proper/virtual keyboard.
Our question is if you can still use the old numeric/predicitive keyboard on the pro like you do on the non-pro version. We've tested a few devices and noticed that in the messaging app it forces you to use the slide out keyboard, is this so? or is there a setting to stop this?
Basically she likes texting/typing with one hand and only will use the keyboard if typing an email if she really has to..

Yes, you can
You can install an app call Smart Keyboard or Tiny Keyboard to have a Full QWERTY on-screen keyboard. (Or you can use the default on-screen keyboard of the X10 mini pro)
You just slide out the keyboard whenever you want to
i use anysoft keyboard, which is free and is the only one i found a portuguese dictionary for (i am brazillian). do those cited support using the system dictionary, or do they have different languages?
SmartKey board supports user-defined dictionary but does not support any other languages
I Always use T9 predictive on my Mini Pro, it comes with the phone, and i didnt need to install any other app
I have used many Qwerty keypads-Softwares on my Mini but at last felt very comfortable with the default t9 predictive keypad..
Adding words in it is very very easy....
BTW.
I have seen the mini pro and the only additions are:
+Qwerty keypad(Not that great. For those who just want hardware keys go for it.)
+UI works in Landscape mode also
+BETTER BATTERY BACKUP(dunno why)
Cons are:
-Abit heavy
-an ok keypad
-It looks really thick and bulky
Personally if you are ok with these above factors then go for pro.
Else go for just the mini

Hello all, I am looking for a handwriting font that looks good on Android. Most that I have tried are either far too big, or far too small. I would prefer a print, but cursive or a hybrid between the two works also. Thanks in advance.
I can't stand the layout of the Samsung keyboard or the TX9, but I love that you can use the S-Pen to write stuff (and that it automatically detects the pen). Is it possible to make an ICS keyboard with support for handwriting? Would it be easy?
OR would it be possible to change the TX9 predictive text to a something like the ICS keyboard's simple spell check?
I have a Samsung Relay (Android 4.2.1, Keyboard Slider) and a Motorola Defy Pro (Android 2.3.7, Blackberry 9900 shape) as backup.
I notice that soft keyboards give prediction for hard keyboards, but the Relays' stock soft keyboards (Swype & Samsung) don't come with predictive text for its hardware, physical keyboard (LG Shine Plus, Android 2.1, had it...) like the Defy Pro's soft keyboard (Multi-touch, It gives 5 or more suggestions).
- I've tried the HTC IME 2.2, but it doesn't seem to work for me
- Swiftkey software, touch keyboard provides "predict text" for hard keyboard, but only gives 3 suggestions, has less configuration and has a size of 30MB
- AdaptTXT is a paid app, but has a 30-day trial
So I was wondering if the someone could Un-Firmware-Lock Defy Pro's soft keyboard? (I have the apk on my Relay, but can't install Or is it illegal so it doesn't install, Defy Pro is so small its soft keyboard is probably only a predict text bar...really wish I could configure each key output)

I was wondering if someone can help me. I am new android user. So far I was blackberry 10 user (Q5 in my case) and I've used on the physical keyboards, and now when I was forced to move on android I am so desperate because I can't find any touch keyboard which is nearly comfortable as physical keyboard.
I am mostly looking for the options which SwiftKey and Gboard have but with much more wider keys than I am getting on Huawei P Smart 2019 with 6,21".
Mostly all keyboards which I have tried have the option to change the height but none of width of the keys.
Big Letters Keyboard is one of the rarest keyboard which I like so much, but it has nearly 30% of the options of SwiftKey or Gboard.
Please look at the screenshots below, which I have made on my 6,21" of 4 keyboards I have installed.

My question is, because with my fat fingers I am correcting nearly every word on android touch, is there any possibility to change the width on Swiftkey or Gboard, or is there any keyboard which looks like Big Letters keyboard or Grammarly, but with the options like SwiftKey or Gboard?
I am for now forcing my self to use Gboard, because I need such options, but would like to have much fatter keys ?

P. S. On my beloved BB10 Q5 with curved physical keyboard, the typing was phenomenal, but I don't have enough money to buy BlackBerry Key2, and that's why I am stuck with Huawei P Smart 2019, which is also ok, but with such typing on "the glass" will never be near any BlackBerry 10 or Blackberry Android with physical keyboard.
