Message from Mods Guides and How To Threads - G3 Android Development

Hello all,
I have moved several guides and tutorials from the development section to the general section. It is fine to post a guide or tutorial here as long as you are developing a Rom/Kernel/Tool and the guide is how to use it.
If you are just providing a guide then it should be in the general section.
If you have any questions about this, or feel your thread belongs here please send me a PM and I will be happy to discuss it.
Thanks
gregbradley

Post questions in General please

Hi all, it's starting to get a bit busier in here now, and so it's time to start ensuring that posts are made in the correct sub forum.
Untill a Q&A sub forum is created ALL questions should be posted in General. We won't get a Q&A forum untill it gets very busy so in the meantime please ensure you don't clutter up the Development area.
Thanks...
Would it be possible to get a sticky roll-up thread going? I can provide the links if needed..
Thanks.

Where and how should I start?
What programming skills do I need?

Honeycomb 3.2 Section...

Because questions are NOT allowed & no one has talked of it much I am starting this thread so that anyone w/ HC32 progress can post it here...
Any links, walkthroughs, roms, code, kernels, anything relating to the development of HC3! on the NT please post here...
Thanks...
The development section is not the place for general discussion.
Rest assured that if anyone has a ROM/kernel to post they won't struggle to open a thread for it.

Mod installation

Hi,
I'm new here and can only imagine how many time seniors seen that sentence... But I've got huge problems with basic stuff.
For instance:
I've found this lockscreen and don't understand how to install it - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2148339
Tried using this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2144464
Doesn't work
I'm on a rooted LT18i stock ICS.
I'd really appreciate some help.
PS I'm pretty sure there is aguide somewhere here but I couldn't find it
I'll use this thread to ask some other questions as I go if that's allowed.
