What baffles me and maybe come around the problem is that in the field puts Base Band Version Unknown. The same if I go into state gives me no information network, imei, network status, etc..
I tried also to urge a new modem, but not for that.
Has anyone had or has the same problem?

After a long research i decided to create this thread!
After na update my Optimus L3 got in a "No service" situation. The strange part is that i have signal and im able to acces the internet using mobile network (wifi off). After a long research i fugered out that my IMEI was 0 (zero). I finded a lot of solutions to this problem but none of then was compatible with my device or brand.
Its possible to perform this in an Optimus L3? How can i acces the Port Settings?
(ultimate solution for several LG devices)
Restoring IMEI
1. Connect phone by USB
2. Activate USB debug mode
3. Enter 3845#*920# in dialer if that doesn’t work try 3845#*925#
4. Select Port Settings -> Select CP Image Download
5. A new device should appear at let it install
6. Open Tutty and select serial protocol. Click on open
7. Type AT if response is not OK, change port number (it is possible that when typing you don’t see any letters)
8. Type at%imei, it should display a dummy IMEI
9. Type at%imei=x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x where x,x,x... is your orginal IMEI number (found under the battery of your phone). It should response IMEI WRITE OK
10. Reboot phone

Im waiting For this **** too, i happen to have a dumb friend who did the same thing, its lame, i know, but the poor thing is almost crying cause his phone is new and he already screwed all up. so please if someone happen to have the solution for this, you would be a lovely person as to help these poor souls ^^ thanks in advance.

I got service using a 3g chip from another operator. IMEI still 0. this is so messed up

Google search for "Haier W910 root" and look for viphaier.com/bbs/forum.php posts. It seems to be an official forum for Haier and there are new ROMs and root tutorials. Google translate is needed 'cause the whole forum is in chinese . I rooted my phone but I still didn't find a way to replace chinese apks (Contacts, Phone, Messaging, etc). Still looking...

I have ROM with Google Apps, but basic apk (Contacts, Phone, Messaging) are only in chinese.
I looking for source code or another way to have this apk in english or another language.
I received my Haier W910 a few days ago.
I actually use an iPhone but it is good to have a reserve phone to go to wild outdoor activities on weekend.
It is incredibly cheap for what it delivers.
Is the battery fixed or it can be changed?

Hi, I think (so i'm not sure) Try apk's for OTG support, maybe one f them works on the w910.

Just found and installed a great ROM with 4.1.2!!! movilesdualsim . com/foro/threads/40695-ROM-Haier-W910-4-1-2-Versi%C3%B3n-2-XX-Con-SuperUser-y-PlayStore-Castellano.
It has:
- english, spanish and deutsch languages
- stock phone, messaging, contacts
- gapps and ROOT
- great camera app

I have Haier W910 with stock rom and i have problem, when i insert sim card from my first network provider
than haier does not recognize this sim card from that network, no signal no nothing - just asks for the pin number, than i remove
this sim card and put another one but from difirent network provider and then it is working normal, to be sure i again put sim card
from my first network provider but again it is not working at all. than i put this not working sim card in difirent mobile phone and it is working....
plesae help me , why this sim card is not working in haier w910 but from difirent network provider is working ? what could be ?

Hello can anyone help me ? i have a few questions that need some answers !
I have a Haier W910 android phone and i somehow corrupted its stock rom and i haven't got any cwm installed so how can i fix it ?
also i have another phone from the same brand. can i Backup that phone to an external sd card and then restore my phone using that backup ?
also if i installed cwm to my other phone what would happen would it be corrupted too ?
and can i use Shuame to install cwm ?

Are you sure that it's not simply that the SIM PIN lock security feature is enabled on the first SIM?
To get rid of it you need to enter the PIN (PIN1) that came with your card and when you get in go to the settings and disable SIM PIN locking.
If you don't know the PIN then you can enter it a few times incorrectly and then you will be prompted for the PUK which will get you in.
You should have received both the PIN[1] and PUK with your SIM. If you don't have the PUK then your operator should be able to help.
However if SIM PIN lock security is enabled I would expect you to be prompted for the SIM PIN by ANY phone in which it is inserted...

Something terrible happened with my Haier W910 device: I switched it off and on again, but it didn't boot in but gave this message:
ERROR: no boot partition found
ERROR: Could not do normal boot. Reverting to fastboot mode
fastboot mode

OEM_BUILD_NUMBER: 35311
OEM_BUILD_TIME: Jan.17.2013.06:20:26
TARGET_BUILD_TYPE: SHIP
it can't go on from fastboot mode
what can be done?
The device is rooted but it is the original ROM on it

Is there a way to repartition the internal space to make a bigger apps partition?
You need to install Shuame on your pc ?
And then install your mobile drivers !
Open shuame and ... well on the top select the fourth menu and be carefull it says fastboot on a button there and vuala watch your phone entering fastboot mode !
I had this problem far from now but i didn't know how to enter fastboot mode but i fixed it by shuame !

You should be able to reinstall the factory ROM via fastboot (google for "4.0.4 ROM 32958 SWEP_GDETB1A_v02.022.01.g_03.zip").

All operations was 100% complete and phone, but my phone doesn't call. When I'm calling I don't hear anything.
I've tryied install few roms and modems, but problem is still follow.
When I check simlock status my phone write simlock is off.
Now here's the crazy thing right now. When I install GalaxySimUnlock v 2.1.1 he send massage in red color Accepted mcc/mnc < Error.
Can you help me?

Yes, IMEI is correct, but in phone software imei ends /01, but on rear phone is only IMEI about /01
that doesn't matter
So IMEI is fine.

Did you flash the right rom for your device?If so did you made a clean install?If not clean install is necessery.
