well i didnt do alot of fixes.. i was focusing on Google Play Service issue because that was the main issue
in the future i will add some Build.prop and init.d Tweaks and debloat useless apps etc... but after i solve most of issue here

I do and until now, I didn't found any other bug.
And when someone else want missing Samsung apps like SPen or the kids-mod then the following must be changed I the build.prop file, the device rebooted and then the kids-mod can be installed or many other missing apps can be found in the Galaxy store:

Everybody has his own priorities. But I can look next into the usb issue. Because of a mac, I know a litte bit about the configuration and I will check it... but not today.

It is now a bluetooth or usb (otg) problem?
PS. Via usb is not only mtp not working but also other protocols. So, I expect that also controllers (xbox, mouse), keyboards or storage will not work.

I can confirm that also my bluethooth mouse connect but then didn't react (no cursor appears). Beside this I didn't have any bluethooth issue.
Other small issues
hardward key back-light didn't work and the setting didn't change here anything
the pen-over also didn't work, maybe because a tab is not a note
And one bigger issue
the wifi issue is back and after a reboot all connections are lost (also I have another kernel)
Because of the list of issues and also didn't found a solution for the usb problem, I switch back to my former ROM... sadly because I like the new interface.

I have the same issue above, I can see users on the hub. But cannot see anything no matter what I type.
I also tried Touchwords from april32.com and it crashes on my hd2

Awesome! I had been looking for a program just like this.
It works really well on my Touch Pro.
After it is connected, it is very fast.
The preloaded hubs didnt work for me, but after I added and tried a few others it was working great.
This is great, beats out PocketDC with ease - working fine for me on HD2.
Any plans to add chat functionality? That's what I primarily use DC for.

Downloaded and installed. Everything looks awesome and runs pretty snappy.
Problem though, I can't connect to any of the hubs, they all say offline. Anyone have a list of hubs i can try? I'm kinda new to this...

DUDE ... WAP? I think that GPRS is minimum but advice to use WiFi coennection
When viewing a post if it is of benefit to me I like to hit the thanks button, to indeed give yes you guessed it, thanks.
But when I do the thanks graphic disappears from under the mouse pointer but no thanks is given to the poster... If I refresh the page and try again, same thing happens.
I have had this for quite a while now, I brought to the attention of one of the mods, I forget which one, but it has not been sorted...
Does anyone else have this issue or does anyone know how to resolve it?
Of course if I get it resolved, I can test it on who ever has sorted it

I get a similar thing on my work pc (which is outdated, including flash etc) - using the works pc, it wont even show the thanks button in the first place....

Also if your settings are set to display old style of XDA you don't get the thanks button at all.

Hey, A friend currently not on xda has been attempting to port MIUI v4 to the vision but has run into a bug and was wondering if any of you could shed some light?
Been porting MIUI V4, but one major bug
The phone handles the hardware keyboard wrong
When it is open / out, it detects it as closed and automatically rotates if enabled
When it is closed / in, Android thinks it is open, and locks orientation to landscape
Any help?

Also, is Miui V4 the ics version?
Do you have a logcat of when this screen is rotating?

It happens globally around the system, so doesn't seem to be the fault of any apps, And yeah it is

That patch is for a working ICS device with a sliding keyboard. Some usr files for the keyboard are raw and can be edited.

This is for all the people who keep asking about voice search not working on the ICS KANG ROMS.
Instructions:
Take the voice search apk and push it to system/app...change permissions to match the others... Reboot.. go to system/app. Then install the apk..say yes to replace system app.
(yes its complicated but i found that its the only way that it works.)

no worries...this is useless now...the voice search is fixed in all the new ics builds.

It works again if I reinstall from /system/app/VoiceSearch.apk
But I really don't want to install this after every reboot.
Why does it happen, and is there a permanent fix ?

I'm not looking for a link nor any newer version.
Because all new versions make my webcam's microphone useless. The apk shared on this thread is the only Voice Search apk that receives proper voice from my webcam.
Now, stop trying to impose your brilliant ideas. I have a problem related to this thread. That's why I'm trying to get help. If you are disturbed, just stop following this thread.

Then kindly say what you are looking for. This apk will NOT fix any issues. Again..this will do NOTHING. If anything it will make it worse. Now someone has to close this thread.

Of Course I made this app to fix a very specific problem i.e "vp9 codec issue"
If you have any other problems then this app won't help.
P.S. The bug is fixed now so the app is no longer required.
Its still persists on my device.. Maybe its my ROM
