Does the quickcircle really protect? - G3 Accessories

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone who is using this case for a while can answer my questions:
Does really protect?
What about the part not covered by the case (top and bottom) any scratch?
What about the camera and button area?
Do you recommend it?
Thanks

For protection: not at all*
For coolness: you betcha
*also applied a tempered glass protector as with the hole in the cover you're guaranteed to end up with scratches

Not yet, as I pamper the phone like a little baby
Will most probably revert back to the Verus Iron Shield I bought previously. Makes the phone (a lot) bigger but the protection is much higher plus it makes the phone feel more premium as well :good:

How long have you been using the case?

Two weeks or so.

Using it more than 1 month scratched the button area and case itself also little bit of scratches
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Using it for 1 1/2 month, working as a technician in the midst of racks, tv studios, electronic lab, outdoor transmissions, etc. and very satisfied with the case, no scratches at all, I usually repair things, indoor and outdoor. Sometimes I use the phone from the circle, not even opening it, for example when using the led light, for reading messages or returning a call. The other day was it raining a little ,I aswered a phone call within the circle, some drops fell only in that space. I´m very satisfied with the case, less than the half of the screen is exposed to possible damage.
My case is this one, from Ebay:

[P760/P765] Cases

What cases you guys using? The flip cover I reviewed a month or so back is degrading... Not as good as I thought. I've found a rubber case on eBay, if you guys have Anything better please suggest. Links are appreciated, and if its local ships, I'm in Mumbai.
P.S. Made this thread because P768 and P769 cases ate different from ours.

How's the back part? It looks quite delicate. I'm also looking at a rubber cover, just to protect it from falls, etc. My current one doesn't do so well.

Actually am using this one
http://www.ecbol.com/Mobile-Phone/Cell-phone-Accessories/Nillkin-Super-Matte-Hard-Cases-Covers-for-LG-P765-Optimus-L9-Black.html
It has texture on back like our phone. But they ship from china by normal post so i received it after 1 month { Bangalore }. It cost Rs. 600 ( hard case + screen guard ). Both are of good quality.

Camera lens is supposed to be scratch resistant sapphire. check out this video

Even with a brand new phone, i noticed tiny scratches ( you have to use a magnifying glass or slowly rotate it in the right light to see)
and phone has been no where near the insides of any pocket or un raised over any surface with my case. it hasn't seen a single touch or wipe.
some have called them surface stress scratches due to manufacturing.

anyone else?
Funny you mention it, my buddies camera was terrible, looked foggy and blurry...his lens is scratched really really badly. My camera works great, but when I looked it was also really badly scratched, we both use the same case too. It sucks that it picks up scratches so easily.

This!!!
There's a few threads in this problem my lense has these marks in it. I can get a definitive answer if it actually affects photo quality. Mine seems to take pretty good photos

its not even g2...the lens is square instead of circle...fakee
To be that badly scratched im not sure how gentle this use was lol,im using mine without a case from when i got it.And it only has 1 superfine minor scratch you can see only in certain angles if you put it directly to the sun.And it was there from when i got it.
yep big long scratch on my Verizon one.

Can't recall....Did that lens ship with protective plastic on it? If so, did you remove it? I literally just discovered I missed the plastic over the volume and power button, so I thought it might be a possibility.

maybe verizon opted out of the sapphire and put glass? mine is perfect
Scratch that... Verizon wireless page says it is:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/device/smartphone/lg-g2
maybe the finish is different.. my D800 looks like it just came out of the box.. I don't use a case
My verizon one looks like crap. Looks cloudy due to abrasions. I am really good about not putting the phone in my pocket with keys and stuff. I don 't know but when I look in the light I see a worn looking spot that does not look right... like abrasion wear or something. I think it affects my picture quality. Don't think pictures are properly focused because of it.

Would you still recommend the case, or is the signal loss to noticeable so I shouldn't get it?
The signal loss was terrible for me. I couldn't keep it on longer than a day. I went from 4g LTE to regularly having no signal in the middle of town. I had better luck with their powerful model. I used it for about 4 months and it was a good case

The case is very beautiful and slim. I only like it but lost a lot of signal. I have neo hybrid spigen too, but its very big for me. I decide use my note 3 withouth case.

Do you think it would make a difference if I tried this case on a 4g network in the UK. Or is there no point me wasting my time with this case?

Which Network? And any problem with WiFi strength decreasing or GPS?
I own a Love Mei bumper and only see a bar drop or so which is nothing. Never have I dropped a call with it on. No GPS or WiFi signal loss either. The color on the bumper is anodized which basically is a acid bath. Scratching it will cause the color to come off but normal use or rubbing it wont.

Thank for the reply

Factory fitted screen protector.

When I got this phone it can with a really nice screen protector pre-installed. Had like a soft gibberish feel to it and somewhat spongy almost.
I foolishly took it off to put on a glass one as I always do but then found out the hard way about fitment issues with the curved top.
Anyway, does anyone know where I can get the gibberish feeling ones similar to the factory fitted one?
Or anyone even know what I'm talking about lol

Has it got the rubberish texture to it?
Like I could press gently with my nail and it would temporarily leave a wee indent which would quickly rise again

No, actually its quite thin but sturdy and cover the whole of the screen.

Skin for grip

Hey.
I try, but I hate cases/covers.
Was looking for some skins to use in the back to make the phone less slippery, like dbrand skins.
But can't seem to find any for the Mi 9. Anyone has any suggestions?
Thanks

I personally have a carbon fiber feel/look back film. I like it, but its not covering the sides.
I'm sad I can't get a dbrand skin...
Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we have no plans to support the Xiaomi line, as there is simply not enough demand to justify adding it to our portfolio at this time. Sorry about that. Let us know if there is anything else we can help with, and have a great day!

I have these skins for my Mix 3 and they're very nice. Currently have the black carbon fiber on. Thick, great texture, stick to the phone well and very grippy-- great for making the phone much less slippery while keeping the appearance top notch. They come with side protection too.
The negative is you have to buy a minimum of three at $25. That's not a bad price for 3 quality skins but they're so tough and with such good stickiness that I don't think I'll need more than one! Just purchased them for my Mi 9 too.

Hello!
I got my skin from donicesky com and it's great
I'm assuming these skins will glue to the back of the phone, but how hard is it to remove them afterwards? Is the glue super strong?
Most use an sticky but easy to remove adhesive. I recently found a Indonesian company that sells 3M skins for the Mi9.
