Nice to see someone keep a unofficial build up-to-date. Makes me wonder whats taking so long as they tweeted to me saying it was 99.5% done 6 days ago.

Hey Flapp! Long time no see glad you have this phone too! I haven't bought a phone or built a rom since the Galaxy Note 2. I should get my one in the mail by Thursday then it will be on and popping!

Sweet! I'm actually downloading the source for Carbon as we speak so I can learn how to build my own.. which will probably take awhile. And then I saw this. Giving this a try.

I actually saw this coming lol. I'll flash once I get done compiling Ubuntu Touch, big time. Slim is one of my favorite ROMS.
Thank you for keeping the support on nook. What is the recommeded kernel for this rom(I installed so many kernels that i'm lost here lol)?
The NT was the kid's Christmas present last year. I'm so stealing it tomorrow and flashing this. Thanks for all that you have done with that little tablet.
Using TWRP 2.6.3.1 i'm getting blackscreen. Not sure what went wrong(got some unable to mount \bootdata error).
Edit1: Tried with CWM 6.0.4.5, no error on wipe, format system and flash, but still getting blackscreen.
Does that rom replaces de kernel or i will have to get the stock back?
Boot Anim takes a little longer to show up.
Full wipe+ format /system and reflash rom and wait a little
It should boot up.
And yes rom replaces current kernel as it has another one in so will flash that and replace inbuild one.

I keep getting an error executing updater binary when trying to install. I tried re-downloading and a different data cable. I tried CWM and TWRP. Slim 4.22 installs fine, any ideas? Is there a mirror for this ROM?
any1 able to get it running in any form or fashion? or still the black screen. if so lmk. kinda quiet. but then again it WAS just christmass and new years is coming up.

seems very logical, his unofficial cm11 build is sweet. i dont get the nav bar (the back home and processes buttons on the bottom) and youtube is broke but i dont use those. and i have windows taskbar and pie controls that help me navigate so its pretty nice but still. the fact that things are broken makes me want to go to 4.2 as well 4.3 has ALOT of problems even over on cyanogenmod stable. with his bexus-n kernel 4.2 is prolly the best solution for now. but they are making GREAT headway. i applaud there progress. especially demetris the NT god :good::good::good:
Gave up and back to [4.4] CM 11 Unofficial -WIP-NookTablet(Acclaim) from Demetris.
not that it TRULY matters because chris has takin the reigns of the nook tablet development, but i suspect this will be if not IS a dead thread. since demetris has picked up a new toy and has join another devices development. would have been nice for him to finish it before he had bid farewell but, he has done soooo much already. cant expect him to do everything. thx demetris (no sarcasm)
If you knew me better you wouldn’t suspect that
I will never give up on NookTablet is just that newer Slim is not booting up(black screen).
I will have a look into it when time permits
If no one minds i'm actually syncing the slim git right now, going to try a build myself and see where it goes. Hopefully I can help in some way. I'm also looking to build a handfull of other roms for the device.
Fingers crossed!
Sent from my SGH-I747M using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
You will face the great blackscreen after N logo.
I did compile it a week ago without any positive results(cm11 and my own kernel)
As i said in January i wouldnt give up but i had no positive results to announce but never the less,
Good luck. :fingers-crossed:
Awesome, hope somebody gets it going. Thanks for all the hard work guys!

Huge thanks to MDMower for getting the device tree working for lollipop. We certainly wouldn't have this
without him. Let me know what's not working as there might be a few bugs. Just remember to do a clean wipe.

- Flashlight doesn't turn off after being turned on
- When plugged into computer through USB for transferring files, CPU maxes out until unplugged. (USB tethering has no effect though)
- Camera working sporadically

Well MDMower got CM12 up and running before this, so he did most the work.
This runs as well as the CM12 build, I got 1 random reboot while loading a few apps. Then smooth since then.

Downloading from Playstore, Nova Launcher, Nova Launcher Prime and Pandora. Was in airplane mode with WIFI on, I don't have a Verizon Sim anymore. I don't remember rebooting again after it chose to.

No problem, but it looks as if Liquid had done switched to Slim ROM base instead of CM so now I have to re-download my whole source and get everything set up again. I apologise for the wait, and I did add Matt's partition swap in the new one.
It looks as if I'm going to be either slowing down or stopping my LS development for this device on account of the amount of building errors I am now getting. However, the Pac-Rom community has been awesome and I've been working on getting our device near perfect with Pac-Rom. So be excited for that to drop in a couple of days, from what I hear the community is releasing PacLP on March 7: https://plus.google.com/communities/103029729817409918322
Retired.
The only ROM still underdevelopment is Cyanogen but the dev does it strictly for himself with no support but they've been super stable on my fireball. You can find info here http://android.cmphys.com/.

Were you running CM12 with the partition swap? I can't remember but you probably need to do or undo the swap.

Introduction
Oxydium is what you have been expecting since the OOS 3.0 BETA was released: awesome, stable, good looking and not awfully sounding good devs that make a ROM. Oh and yeah, this ROM is all of that too!
We have gotten the mess that OnePlus did, and made it a bit better, so you all can finally use a Marshmallow ROM with a AOSP feel and the perfect camera that provides STOCK vs other ROMs! And a cool UI too!

A little about Team Iridium
@deletescape and @pagaiba, back in the days when OOS 3.0 was released, after a month of friendship and everyone's ears dying because of the audio drivers that OnePlus provided, decided to team up to do something unique, something beautiful: build ROMs for their fellas everywhere, so you can all enjoy Android as much as possible.
They joined their forces to create Team Iridium, to which later incorporated more people.
Team Iridium currently consists of:
@deletescape (Phoenix ROM and First AID creator)
@pagaiba (I'm so cool k)
*will properly correct this later since they weren't disponible at the time of writing this post*

The AOKP goodness that you've always known
now for our phone!
Special thanks goes out to Team AOKP for putting this awesome rom together for us to play with!
I hate making these threads, but anyone who has been around for a short amount of time knows what AOKP is all about so I will leave it at that. The old Rom Control is there with all of the available mods, and everything seems to be working just fine with the phone moving right along.
Here is what you need to do:
1. Reboot into TWRP
2. Make a backup (I don't wanna be blamed for crap)
3. Wipe everything except your internal storage and external sd card (or if you wanna do a full wipe, knock yourself out)
4. Install AOKP (link below)
5. Install Gapps (opengapps works good)
6. Flash Magisk for root.
7. Reboot and enjoy!
Grab the latest AOKP here (12/17/17):

I just got this phone last week, coming from a OnePlus for a few years, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of it. I don't know what base firmware it has, but the baseband version on mine is m8992_1255331.29.01.88.02r if that helps you.

I just got this phone last week, coming from a OnePlus for a few years, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of it. I don't know what base firmware it has, but the baseband version on mine is m8992_1255331.29.01.88.02r if that helps you.

By base firmware I meant which on which Android version one has to be to install this ROM? 6.0 or 7.0?

If he built it from LOS & AOKP sources without modification then its 6.0. I don't think anyone is working on adapting to the 7.0 modem/radio yet.

Thank you! . You are right, I did not do any modification so it is 6.0.
Decided to give this a shot, really smooth, but sadly lacking lockscreen app short cuts

Any thoughts on the battery life? I'm also having wonky battery with CRDroid 3.7. (Still think 3.6 was better) Lockscreen shortcuts aren't a deal breaker for me.

I'm going back to CRDroid, I'm gonna give 3.6 a shot, just make a back up and see how it does. I tried the final RR, but it was really buggy for me
I really like lockscreen short cuts, I use them a lot and its the only thing that has kept me away from Dirty Unicorn
I've been using this ROM for 4 days now. It's definitely one of the best. I'd place it in the top 3 for me, alongside GZR and AICP. Thank you for making this.
I have noticed much better battery life than other ROMs, but idk if it's the ROM or that I haven't installed a few particular apps. In any case, very smooth, very stable and it seems to have significantly less memory usage than any other ROM.
Any chance of getting the October security update in the next release? (If there is going to be another release that is)
Again, thanks for this.

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like it . If they add the October security update, I'll get us caught up with it.
As promised, there is a new build in the OP with the October security update, thanks to the team at AOKP for keeping up on it!
So, does this work on 7.0 firmware?

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][7.1.2]One off roms - (maybe)final builds[i9100]

I wanted to share some nougat roms before oreo gets here. My aim is to compile a one-off build for several roms as a sort of final unofficial build before oreo is stable. There is no timetable for these builds; I will try to build a new one every day or so, but real life may mean they are delayed.
I plan on building the roms that have not had updates for a while. If you have any requests for Lineage-based roms let me know, but I'm not promising anything
Available in download link below:
- crDroid ( February 2018 security patch updated by linusdan here )
- XenonHD ( Latest update June 2018 security patch)
- Oct N ( January 2018 security patch; updated by linusdan here )
- Resurrection Remix (latest: here. Thanks to @linusdan )
Also dotOS is available here
Future builds(no promises) :
- AOSP Extended ( Updated by YoDevil here )
If any of these roms are updated officially I won't be building them
As they are Lineage-based, the kernel source is https://github.com/LineageOS/android_kernel_samsung_smdk4412 unless otherwise stated.

hi @noppy22
Wonderful news!
Thanks a lot for still updating nougat in such a great number of roms!
We all know this is a hard work which uses up alot of your sparetime.
Regards!
Feel free to update my ROMS. I'm working on Oreo now and time doesn't allow me to compile Nougat.

I'll have a look. Last time I checked, the ViperOS team were not updating the rom at all, or have moved their sources, so I don't think this one will be updated....

I thought we would get v3.1.1-Final-N as for other devices.
This one is not rooted. Flash the lineage addon-su for root access.
Download from the OP

Many thanks for giving us an update noppy22. I was wondering if Xenon would get another one. A couple of quick questions if I may.
1. Can this be dirty flashed as per an official version, i.e. no wipe other than standard dalvik etc?
2. Will I need to flash lineage su add on? Normally I don't lose root with xenon updates. I only ever flashed it on the first install.
Again, thanks for doing this, it's much appreciated.

I have built it unmodified, so you should be able to dirty flash. Depends on whether there have been any major changes in the source. If dirty flashing works, you shouldn't need to flash the addon
Good news...
how about DND, any updates ?
Hi @noppy22,
Great idea / plan / and effort, trying to bring all major roms to their last Nougat build before we venture into Oreo world one day. I appreciate you have you have other commitments in your normal life, that MUST take priority over any rom/request...
However, if you do get a moment, and thinking what other roms to bring up... I would be EVER SO grateful if you could look at Resurrection Remix, taking it from 5.8.4 to 5.8.5. I got a couple of S2's which I plan to give to my parents for Xmas. They are currently rocking 5.8.4, but would be nice to upgrade them to the latest before wrapping them up....
No rush, and only if you have time and resources to do so. They are running just fine as they are, but just to finish it off would be cool....
... and thank you for all the work you've done already, and by taking on this task of updating other roms. Much appreciated.
Thanks, Lister
@haris1976
I'll look at it this week. I didn't really think too many used it
@Lister Of Smeg
I tried to build RR a few days ago but had out of space build errors when trying to build system.img. Maybe @GreekDragon has some idea why I get those....
Currently I haven't got a lot of time, hopefully in the next couple weeks I can build a rom or 2
@noppy22
I can help compile the ROMs that are on the list, since I'm on vacation and bored =)
But I have no idea what to do after preparing the environment

If you could build any of these roms, that would be great. Unfortunately I don't really have much time to help you. This may help get you started: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/i9100/build
It shows you all the basics, any issues you come up with you can use google. Most issues have been asked about before and can be solved with a little searching. Let me know if I can help...
