Check out the LeanKernel v3.8 here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2488082 once there click on Leankernel other devices n900x. then find the kernel " hltespr kk v3.8 " and give it a go. MAKE A BACKUP FIRST !!! If it won't boot pull battery and reboot into recovery and restore then try an older version like v3.1 is very good.

Thank you sir. Much appreciated.

None are working. Not 3.8nltespr or any lower

If you're on an AOSP rom, you'll need the AOSP leanKernel. You may have downloaded the TW version.

Hm, for me alliance didnt work. Maybe i will try again.
Have you read the announcement of the developer at the facelock download?
These are his words:
Information from the developer
-Files specifically to add FaceUnlock capabilities for package 20120201.
-All newer packages will automatically install these files and do not require additional downloads or installation.
-IN OTHER WORDS if you have a newer version than 20120201 you do NOT need this file.
So no need to flash facelock seperately. I have looked into the zip package and the files are there. So gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip is enough for facelock.

[Q] Any KERNELS for Gt-I9300 AOSP 4.2.2 ROM?

Hi
So I've been trying to find a kernel that works with Supernexus 2.0 on my GT-I9300. Haven't found any, so that's why I'm asking from you, are there any kernels that I could flash to my GT-I9300 (aka Samsung Galaxy S3) running Supernexus 2.0 Android 4.2.2?
Ps. Overclockable prefered. Thanks
me too. Flashed the siyah 1.8.9 before I found out it doesn't support 4.2.2!
Been searching but can't seem to find any other kernels..
Anyone?

Siyah just goes to bootloop, it says it supports CM10.1 but it doesn't support SuperNexus 2 or CM10.1
Well I'm not a patient dude, so I'm now happy user of Carbon ROM 4.2.2 which has kernel that can be clocked to whopping 2,0Ghz!
Thanks for answering

Nah, in my device i tried multiple lollipops but they are were laggy. So i got back on the latest cm 11 and things are smooth as silk.
I'm staying off lollipop for now.
I don't care about the super latest features, I rather have a stable and secure system.

Both Temasek and ArchiDroid are very fast and stable. I haven't try out the new versions of RR and Blisspop yet
bhai archidroid karle latest wala set hai !
Hi,
Haxynox is actually pretty fast and thin. Discovered a bug, but cannot post it there. So i'm thinking of kinda spamming this place till i get my count up to 10
But in general, KitKat seems better choice for i9300 era systems. Would be nice, if someone compiled as close to aosp kitkat as possible. CM was close, but now really gets bloated with its additional software. It even has CM account system. Maybe i will test out Omni.
Omni is ok, but no theme support, same like slim kk

Which is the best rom for RN3?

I am new to flashing custom roms and have recently flashed Lineage OS.
1. Can someone suggest me the best rom according to their view.?need the best battery backup.
2. do i need to flash any Kernel.. which would be the best combination.?

Don't flash any custom kernels on NOS. The stock kernel has all the features. I get around 9 hours of SOT on WiFi only and around 7.5 hours of SOT on LTE. Remember not to flash any custom kernels as it messes with NOS.

It really works well on AOSP Extended Mod
On Latest Linage an EAR it stuck at first booting
And I don't understand why at that kernel Linux version solo old - some port limitation?
Course I remember that in oldest version Linux kernel was newer.
Hope you will continue porting that kernel - amazing work again!
Last thing what left to fix on our device for Max performance it's f2fs in recovery
