I have installed all of the version of discovery kk rom but none of the rom worked for me perfectly.:good:
In latest android L version, it installed perfectly but after first restart it never able to turn on.
I have tried it many times.
major bugs of latest android L are:
1- first restart it never able to turn on(its happen for me dont know for other)
2- No network.
3- NTFS sd card not supported.

in my case the major problem is camera.... the stock cam is much bether.... in low light or dark environement photos are simply black.....
i tried to instal stock camera but stucks on boot.. with other cam apps is the same bad quality photos

try reflashing the rom again..wipe data, cache, dalvik cache and flash the rom..network issue can be solved by flashing baseband given in the thread. discovery 0.7 has been released with more bug rectification. but not sure about the camera fix. A116i users are reporting more issues with this rom. Others dont have much bugs and problems..im also waiting for a total fix...fingers crossed
2nd Sim not detected in latest version

Bugs on my A116
I have installed KitKat(discovery v.05 Thanks to Hyperion !) on my Micromax A116 HW:1.0, SW:16
I noticed some bugs ,
1. There is a blue tint in the center of the pictures taken by all camera apps.
2. Low light pics with flash on is compleatly dark.
3. When I restart to TWRP recovery mode battery drops every time.
4. When I restart some of the app icons in the home screan disappears.
5. Some times when I click on dial keypad button in dialer the entire bottom strip becomes white.
6. Volume of the speaker is significantly less.
I have rechecked with stockrom and found these bugs are form the Discovery Rom.

I only faced 3rd one.. And BTW it's not a bug.. This happens in stock ROM also !!

the last versions usualy don't have this problem
try to falow those steps with discovery or lg g3 rom:
How to install?
1. Download the ROM
2. Put the file on the SD card
3. Boot on TWRP Recovery
4. Make a backup of current rom using Recovery PhilZTouch or TWRP 2.7.0.0
5. Make a wipe Data / Factory Reset
6. Flashing the ROM
7. For version 0.5 only, flashing the KitKat_boot_upd.zip
8. Restart the phone (WARNING: restart can be long …)

Yes. that is right. Flash all versions and select the best suited one for your handset. I tried all the versions and found that Kitkat Discovery Version 0.4 is the best. All other Versions 5, 6 and 7 have problems. Version 5 does not have alarm clock setting option and sms message option. Version 6 have Titannium backup restoring problem. Version 7 have problem of non-working of GPS based applications. Above all problems when rebooting battery percentage reduces in all versions and have to replace modem with CM11 to solve network problem and flash 13mp camera patch for improvement of camera. Can flash KitKat_boot_upd.zip with this version also. Anyway I am satisfied with Version 4 and using it without any problem.

But I think there are some few problms/bugs
OTA is not working
OTA available but when downloaded it gives error (md5 error downloaded file is invalid)
Also the app drawer we cant modify/transperency is not happening (Or else need to change the Launcher)
Also i think there is some issue with network. will confirm by checking with different locations and different sim cards
HI Dev is it possible for you to change the contacts dialer and dialing screen.Or else is it possible to change the UI with same as Galaxy S4 with all the features of this ROM

MD5 Error occurs when the downloaded file is corrupted. Try downloading the Update again.
There are some bugs in Trebuchet Settings
Network is working fine for me.

If You want a Customized Build of the ROM , We will have an App for User builds Soon. Users Will be Able to share their Custom Packages.

You can Flash using CWM but there may be a problem in flashing OTA Updates!

Still now not found much issue but some of my reviews are below I am waiting for others to provide the review too
1. Batery Backup superb
2. ROM is very smooth and stable no lag and no flikering full stable
3.With more features
4. UI is almost similar to Micromax stock UI with trebutche launcher in which I am unable to do anything with my app drawer cant change its transperency cant rearrange apps and no hiding of apps. No issue will use Holo Launcher HD or Touchwiz Launcher.
5.with XPosed installer inbuilt in settings and framework we dont require to install these apps. Moreover in settings section we can find plenty of Xposed Modules which we can use to modify the ROM its usage and looks.
6. Though I am facing some issue with Network. Sometime my 3G conncetivity gets lost and disconnected (Need to confirm on this as I am in my work place so will comment on this again soon later)
7. Some issue with OTA as I am unable to update or install it and gives an error.
8. Cynaogen Wallpapers are very nice and clearity of ROM is good with good exposure display
9. I have tested almost all roms on this xda section and else where but found this to be stable cos by using XPOSED framework many ROMS are unstable.
Also i am little updating my build.prop script for self use as of now to check the network issue and increase some more speed effect and ram also

Hey u can delete those double files generated
yes facing brightness issue but no issue we can change from status bar also when we use xpose framework its not giving any issue even from settings
also there is no sim management but when you interchange sim cards on different slots after booting it will pop up change of sim detected and from there you can go to sim management.

Dude I want to make you this clear firstly its not the same ROM which you are talking about it may be from same sources FLY.

Bugs:
1. The GPS does not lock, like in most Fly ROMS for the Canvas HD. Tried replacing gps.conf and enabling EPO autodownload/GPS full restart from Engineering mode. The GPS status is always unavailable.
2. Apparently, the front camera isn't working either.
3. Auto Brightness settings too low.
4. Sudden overheating and reboots this morning. Has never happened before. Don't know whether it's ROM Specific.
5. Data usage app FC.

Are you sure of this? Because, even I use this setting, but no crash! Please check for any misconfiguration.... And how is the ROM so far? Any better? Are you really satisfied? Thanks....

Unfortunately NO! I have tried porting those but ended in softbrick! I am going to release a more recent version of miui....

I promise you that as soon as I find a good stable bugless ROM, I will upload one soon! I will be uploading a recent version of MIUI soon.... Thanks man!

As we are Korean Note 2 owner so there is always a big problem to find it ROMS.
As you all know Our Note 2 Has been updated to 4.4.2 Version, So some people are facing problems in flashing ROMs. Someone is stuck on boot logo.
So First of all you all have to flash 4.4.2 ROM Via Odin.

Flashing Instructions:
Pre-Requisites:
Check battery percentage, your device should have at least 60% battery power
Turn on USB Debugging mode, go to Settings-Developer Options-USB Debugging
Backup important data and settings to external storage
Install USB driver for your device on your computer- Download Samsung USB Driver
Lets Start
>Download Android Desired Firmware according to you Version from the above list
>Download Odin 3.07
>Switch off your phone and boot Galaxy Note 2 LTE E250L/S/K into Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down+Home+Power buttons (long press until the boot screen appear), now press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.
>Extract the downloaded Odin3.07 zip file and run the Odin3 v3.07.exe file as an administrator (Right click on the .exe file and click on Run as administrator)
>Now connect your Galaxy Note 2 LTE E250L/S/K to your computer via USB cable
In Odin3 screen, you should see a COM Port number like “0:[COM7]” at ID:COM section and “Added!” text at the message box. This means >your device has been detected by Odin3.
>Make sure that, only the “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” options are checked.
>Now, extract the downloaded firmware zip file, you’ll find a firmware file with extension .tar.md5
>In Odin screen, click on PDA button and select the firmware file with .tar.md5 extension.
>Now, click on the Start button to begin the installation process, wait few moments.
>Once completed, you would see “PASS!” message in ID:COM port having green background
>Your phone should automatically reboot after completion
>You can now disconnect your phone from computer

Would like to share a few findings after using WIDzard kernel for 3 days.
1. The kernel probably needs to flash with widzard recovery which is a mod of Philz 6.57.5. My first attempt with philz touch 6.48.4-t0lte caused a strange bootloop: samsung logo > recovery > samsung logo > recovery....
2. 8~10% performance gains compared to stock kernel. The benchmark was not made on the same ground though.
stock kernel - DN3 v5 : 18239 @antutu 4.5
Widzard kernel - MawrickROM : 20988 @antutu 4.5
3. By overclocking to 1.8GHz, the performance is very decent. Sorry Aututu auto updated to v5, so oc benchmark was made on v5...
To conclude, I found widzard kernel is very smooth and stable. I didn't got a glitch in the past few days. I recommend people give it a try to report back if any issues to the author:highfive:

Yes my daily device is Z1. My wife uses Note2/E250 that's why I cannot mod it as easy as my Z1 - you know why! Everytime*before doing any mod to Note2*I need to do a quiet intensive research. I'm sure your thread will help a lot for those looking for resources. Note2 was a great phone but it needs a refreshment to make it still good in 2014!*

I use two SIM cards - one for calling and one for internet only. Sometimes I go wrong

Dear Developer, Really looking forward to trying ur ROM. Hope the Gapps issues as discussed above are solved. Coz i see similar ones on needrom too. Anyways was anyone able to mirror the ROM links , coz the download speeds from Yadex are really too slow...
Gravity Screen and Sequence Unlock both work just fine to wake up this phone (I have power button missing so have to use these)
Unlock+volume+key_EN+PL.apk
It's in 3 languages: if Your system language is English, Polish or Russian - it's in this languages, but if Your system language is diferent than this it shows in russian. Generally, You can set it up in English, change the system language, hide app in launcher and forget about it

I think its juts calender apk which is not synchronising. I guess its not an issue just update the gapps from opengapps.com
This ROM is stable or in beta?
Something went wrong in flashing this ROM. Lost my imeis. could not restore with mobile uncle tools. Was earlier on ROW 124 and flashed the ROW version of the ROM. Now back on ROW 124. IMEI came back by default but keep seeing a NVRAM error as one of the options when i see the list of wifi options that can be connected to. From whatever i used on this ROM, was nice.. Sadly without a mobile signal, could not use it for long. Pls help developers !!!!

Look on q&a section. There you will find one small tutorial about imei or corrupted nvram.

You flashed kitkat rom over jellybean ROM that is why.

So i upgrade to KK ROW 226 and then flash ?? I have interchanged many times between SLX and KK Roms. Never any issues.
