Couldn't you do a Nandroid back-up before installing and roll back if you aren't satisfied or copy the original settings.apk from system, then you could reinstall that instead if you wanted to.
I usually make a complete back-up before trying new mods.
I lost the zip. Mods, please close/delete this thread.
