Any custom rom for Micromax Nitro A310 ?????? - Micromax Canvas Nitro A310/A311

I was looking for custom rom for Micromax Nitro A310.

Micromax A310 is rebranded Coolpad F1 phone and you can flash any Coolpad F1 custom rom.
There are many forums that cover almost everything related to that phone.
You may start here
For now, there are over 200 custom roms for this phone plus regular official updates (JB and KitKat)
We even flashed stock Micromax A310 rom and Himax Polymer stock rom (Polymer is Indonesian variant of this phone)
Have fun!
Take care, you may loose your IMEI.
Please save your NVRAM / make MTK Droid Tools v2.5.3 backup before trying anything!!!
EDIT: You won't lose IMEI. It was a specific rom that made a problem which was solved by flashing stock Micromax rom
through YGDP Tool
Shaanu reported successful flashing of several custom Coolpad F1 roms:
Guys I found that we can use any coolpad f1 ROM on Micromax nitro a310, by simply flashing it via CWM, without any IMEI issue and other issues.
I didn't tried stock MMX a310 ROM, but I've tried various other ROMs.

Also tell me please can i use emotion 2.3 rom for coolpad ( http://www.modaco.com/topic/373519-rom-442-fire-emotion-ui-23-huawei-ui/#entry2231099) for nitro a310 ???

There's good news ands bad ones. As always
Some background info:
Coolpad F1 looks like Micromax A310. A forum member find a site with Micromax A310 stock rom.
We tried to flash it through coolpad's flashing tool - YGDP, but it wouldn't go.
Good news:
That stock rom comes in CPB format (Coolpad rom format) and I extracted it with YGDP tool.
There is a file inside the rom - phoneinfo.yl with the following content:
Code:
[VER_Compatibility]
VER = 1.00;
SUM = ;
[PDA_Compatibility]
[COLOR="Red"][B]ProductName = 8297W_I01;[/B][/COLOR]
[PCB_Compatibility]
CheckEnable = 1;
u8HardwareVersionMajor = P0,P1,P2;
u8HardwareVersionAux = ;
u8HardwareRF_NV = ;
[DEV_Compatibility]
CheckEnable = 0;
[EMMC_Compatibility]
CheckEnable = 0;
eMMC_Count = 2 ;
eMMC_CID0 = 1101003030384739320093252FCA70B3;
VersionCheck0 = ">=00" ;
eMMC_CID1 = 1501004D3847314743038E04FBD4503D;
VersionCheck1 = ">=03" ;
Now, phoneinfo.yl content is the same as the one from Coolpad F1 stock rom except for ProductName = code line
Micromax A310 has: ProductName = 8297W_I01;
Coolpad F1 has: ProductName = 8297W;
Few days later, we found out that if you remove _I01 from phoneinfo.yl code line and
from another *.bin file, A310 stock rom can be successfuly flashed on Coolpad F1.
BTW, 8297W is another name for Coolpad F1 WCDMA phone.
Based on identical experience with another Coolpad F1 rebrand, Indonesian Himax polymer phone I can say that
any custom rom for one of these three phones can be flashed on each one of them
Bad news:
I guess that nobody else flashed Coolpad F1 custom rom on Micromax A310, so you would be the first one to try
If you will, please make MTK Droid backup first.
P.S.
EmUI is a very good custom rom and I have it on my Coolpad F1 right now...

Did you tried esf backup ????
There are several esf backup tools in play store.
Take an esf backup on stock rom, then change the rom whatever u want, then restore that esf backup on new rom.
Your imei might be restored

Hi dakok,
i just fallowed the link u have provided at modaco .... downloaded from MIUI forum. File is miui_f1_slydermi_4.8.31.

If you have stock backup you can try to restore it with SP Flash Tool
Did you try to flash stock Micromax Nitro rom with YGDP Tool.
If everything else fails, you can ask someone who has Nitro A310 with stock rom to make a
MTK Droid Tool v2.5.3 backup
and send you two nvram files: nvram.bin and userdata_nvram_only.tar
{

Flash stock Nitro A310 rom (if you don't have it on your phone now)
Now you make your MTK Droid Tool 2.5.3 backup.
Replace your two NVRAM files with the new ones in your backup.
Start MTK Droid again and click on IMEI/NVRAM button. Restore NVRAM . I think that phone will reboot now.
If you have IMEI now, start
MTK Droid Tool again and replace IMEI numbers with yours.

Well if you are on stock ROM, then I suggest you to download mobile uncle tools from play store and make an efs backup on your external SD card,
After that you can flash any coolpad f1 ROM by CWM, after wiping data, cache, and dalvik cache.
I have flashed Emotion UI 2.3 rom , colorOS and fun touch ROMs on my Nitro a310 without any problem.
In case u face your lost IMEI problem again, u simply download mobile uncle tools on new ROM, and restore that efs backup you took earlier.
Restoring efs worked, at least for me

I had tried all the possibilities ...My concern was trying to flash MIUI ROM made for TD-SCDMA due to which my baseband was erased.
I succeeded at last by combining COOL PAD F1 MIUI ROM with Modem_F1_WCDMA zip file http://4pda.ru/pages/go/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fyadi.sk%2Fd%2FmrddqyOGbTcMs
I Love MIUI ROM :victory:

Whether clearing dalvik cache solved battery problems instock ROM .... has anyone tried ?? Also can anyone provide me stock recovery link and stock ROM file ... No dude. Battery problem is not solved by wiping dalvik cache.
I tried various ROMs on this device.
Battery backup on color OS ROM is much better.
I didn't faced any issues regarding IMEI even after trying at least 10-11 roms.
I took backup simply by CWM.

You may lose IMEI by flashing a bad rom. I saw that several times and helped several people.
Best thing is to have your original Micromax rom and to root your phone.
Install MTK Droid Tool 2.5.3 and make backup of your rom.
If you lose IMEI somehow, you will easily return it back with MTK Droid Tool

Before installing any ROM, we must have back up of NVRAM and stock ROM.
Also, u must be careful while flashing any other ROM.

If you flash ROM that build for other device on your android then you brick you Android.
But, you can port that custom rom for your device that have same specs. There are many guide available on XDA for porting rom. It takes time and also you want to work hard.

How to revert back to miui 8 china developer rom?

I want to switch back to miui from resurrection remix rom due to the nougat bugs !
This time i am downloading a miui 8 china developer rom !
Now i have 3 questions !
1) how to revert back ? Flashing through twrp ?
2) how to root the flashed china developer rom ? Coz i have titanium backup files which i want tk restore ?
3)by flashing the china developer rom will my internal storage be wiped out ? All the media files photos music etc ? I know that data is a must wipe but will my internal storage be wiped ?? Plz help
Thanks in advance !
After I've treid a lot of nougat roms and also mm rom - qualcomm AOSP (very good rom) , I wanted back to miui . I have TWRP by Alka , i put global stable 8.1.1.0 zip in redmi note 3 and flashed it . I had softbrick (only fastboot). I cheked bootloader - it was locked . I unlocked it by miunlock and flash TWRP again . Then i flashed miui again . It was succeed .
You can flash via fastboot, and select the option 'flash except storage' if I remember correctly. And the China Developer ROM comes pre-rooted I believe. Just go to Security -> Permissions and you should find it.
Hope it helped you!

No i mean the exact device with another branding
for example
Blu vivo 5 (in US and latin america) = Gionee s6 (in nigeria ,india , and china) = Condor A55 Slim (algeria and tunisia) = walton primo *** (in bengladesh) = qmobile z12 (in Pakistan)
So it is the same device , but in every region it is commercialized under a specific branding, and because regions aren't same , you will find one deffirence which is the base band, so if you flash blu vivo 5 with indian gionee s6 firmware you will get "no network/ no sim cards" , that's the only deffirence
Blu vivo xl is gionee s plus , condor p8 ...check our facebook page we have roms for it ported by me
On blu vivo 5:

Should I delete the folders off the phone after flashing, or remove from the zip file? If I need to remove from a zip file, which one? I need to read a bit more.
Also, do you extract the contents of the patch zip file and put it in the rom zip or do I flash both?
Lastly, will it work if I flash from Lollipop stock directly to Nougat or do I need to use this guide to upgrade to Marshmallow first?

The easiest way is to flash the rom , and once it finishes flash the patch.
For advanced users , copy system and boot from patch and paste them in the rom ( replace when you ask to), then go to etc/ in the rom and delete firmware and mddb folders, and paste your firmware and mddb folder , now you have a rom for blu vivo 5 , flash only that rom and you(re ready to go ...
if you're on lollipop , you need to flash marshmallow firmware to besure that the rom works fine , i'm not surethat it will work directly on top of lollipop

Well. I've already followed this tutorial to get Marshmallow stock on my phone and will soon have your ViperOS installed. I have also flashed your TWRP. I'm just waiting on the ROM to download.
My internet has been acting up all day.
Wipe anything?
When flashing through TWRP, should I wipe anything from the device?
Should I wipe the Dalvik/Cache after flashing?
I'm currently making final changes.

Thank you.
I bootloop after flashing.
After flashing the ROM, followed by the patch for my BLU Vivo 5, I reboot.
I am greeted with the BLU logo then it bootloops back after a black screen. I am currently reverting back to stock 6.0.
What am I doing wrong?
I flashed w/o the patch, still bootlooped.
Wiped after flashing, still bootloops.
The issue is obviously in the ROM itself..
i don't know the reason why , other roms worked very well ?, i mean only this bootlooped ?
this is weird ..are you sure you installed it the right way ? and what's the previous firmware version installed

After bootlooping, I tried to install Resurrection Remix. I bootlooped on that too.
I fixed it on RR though and the same issue was probably present here.
I used ES File Explorer to copy the mmdb and the firmware folders.
The issue was that the copied files were not complete or corrupted
After using a different root explorer and copying the files, I gone to TWRP and copied the files. Now I have the complete/non-corrupted mmdb and firmware folders.
I'm sure this fix works on ViperOS as well. It was 100% my error and not at all to do with you.
I assumed since I tried to use w/o flashing the patch that the ROM was messed up, but when vgeohn mentioned on your RR post that it bootloops w/o flashing the patch. I found that was the issue.
One question. I am currently running the out-of-date version of RR. Should I flash the updated ViperOS or keep RR? I want your recommendation.
And how do I update RR? Do I need to wipe then flash, or is there another way to flash? I prefer to not have to re-download all my apps.
i think you should stay on viper it is more fast and smooth
by the way here is a zip so you can flash mddb and firmware using twrp, just put your mddb and firmware in the etc folder of the zip
and flash it after every rom
here is the zip --> Download
if you can reapload it so people can use it directly

Does the mmdb and firmware folder only define the besebands or is my IMEI in there? I don't want that getting loose.
And that patch is universal for all of your roms that are recent? (RR, XOSP, Lineage, AOSP Extended)
And to upgrade do I have to wipe my apps or is there a way to keep them?
Bug report for RR (the original, but any updates):
Photoscan by google is not working. Just try, it's hard to explain
Google camera does not work if you are using a version that requires Android 7.0 or 7.1.
On google camera for Android 6.0, the video recording does not work at all. It crashes instantly.

You can just boot up and use your phone from there, but to get safetynet and some more gaaps, I personally flashed Gapps aroma with a config to not get useless apps. Then, I flashed the latest Magisk beta and a safetynet patch.

I'm having bottloop problems with Redmi Note 4 (mido). at first I used stock ROM MIUI 10 version 8.12 then I tried to flash via twrp using Omega ROM series MIUI 10 display MIUI 11pro android 9 (Pie) .. it turns out ROM has been equipped with Root access, and some applications cannot be opened because there is a default root access ROM. when I want to return to the stable MIUI 11 stock ROM android 7 .. I experienced bootloop .. and the device failed to enter the android system .. does any of the developers know the solution for bootloop? or anyone can provide a solution to delete the default root of the Omega ROM series.
You can try flash from TWRP this script UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip . Search in XDA . I can' t link ( junior member ). It will help you unroot your device.
reflash stock fastboot rom with mi flash tool.
Any way to fix this since i have noticed that some of the apps still detects root even after being unrooted when the every option on the above image is not green (i am currently on lineage os (unrroted) official and this problem doesn't exist on pixel experience)
