Hİ first sorry for my bad english
i have a s2 gt9100 with 2.3.3 gingerbread i have rooted my phone, because i will install a custom rom, i have the phone rooted but the recovery is still stock recovery ( mean e3 recovery ) so i cant install any .zip i became the " e : signature failed" error
what is the problem i think i need a kernel with cwm mode and the kernel must be for 2.3.3 available, i searched but not find a kernel with
cwm and for 2.3.3 i find a kernel but is for 4.0.2 or 4.1.2 and this can not help me if i this install can brick my phone
any ask more does a cwm do not want or say e signature failed eror i remember i have a cwm.zip and i have it İNSTALLED ON E3 YES İ SUCCES İNSTALLED A CWM.ZİP İN E3 RECOVERY AND NOT SAYİNG SİGNATURE FAİLED ERROR BUT THE PROBLEM İS İ CANT FİND THİS CWM
PLEASE GİVE ME A 2.3.3 AVAİABLE KERNEL OR THE CWM.ZİP ABOVE İ AM TALKİNG ABOUT

I think there are cf root available for that android version.
Or simply flash 4.1.2 stock via Odin and go ahead with philz.

i have miui rom on my x10, but i can flash official rom and any another rom by xrecovery!!!!!
the error i face to when i want install custom rom by xrecovery is : cant mount sd card
and when i reboot my phone it is miui, (current rom that i have)
pls help me, pls

your xrecovery is broken install it again.
What kind of rom are you talking about? some require CWM that may be the case or try what z3us911 said and reinstall xrecovery
Download flashtool 3.0.0 and connect phone in usb dugging and unknown sources and ask root rights from flashtool and press the xrecovery button now u can flash roms...

but im french and i want to install a GTI-9100 Custom rom on.
I've root my phone with this method : CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XEU_KE7-v4.0-CWM4.zip
but i got bootloop after flashing it so i flash original m250k kernel.
Now i'm root and i got CWManager and Su but in CWM i've this :
Kernel : unknow
so i try to flash the zImage with the 'flash kernel' option .
Then my phone rebbot in standar recovery, how to get the CWM REcovery ?
HELP
or with an other solution how to instal a GTI-9100 Rom on a SHW-M250K

is it Galaxy S2 i9100 ? or something else like NTT DOCOMO (Japan)

If you can get in to recovery elseway, you could get a zip to flash kernel. Or flash it with ODIN with a .tar.

i've try to flash other CWM but = bootloop then still not working.
So i have CWmanager but no CWM recovery
When i flash GTi-9100 kernel i got bootloop so i got M250K kernel (stock korean one)
someone know ?

I,m having this repeatedly problem with flashing CWM recovery in my Samsung Vibrant.it,s already rooted but can,t install any ROM..I understood from the replies that it,s a e3 recovery problem,and I should flash the e2 by downgrading back to stock 2.1 ECLAIR...
is there any other way to go pass this issue???????

i cant flash balt rom v5 usnog cwm ,, i have upgraded the last version of cwm but still the same problem its says installation aborted

helo everybody , i have rooted my xperia p who hjave the stock JB , unlocked the bootloader , and i have installed cmw 6.0.1.2, and when i try to flash a kitkat rom ( i have tried slimkat and cm 11 ) it says error 7, and i have a bootloop ( i have done all the steps letter by letter )
i re-flashed jb stock rom with flashtool , so please tell me how to flash a kitkat rom without these problemes ( i know am a newbie )

today i rooted my sony xperia p successfully and then i unlocked the bootloader also .after which when i was flashbooting my phone for custom rom dont know wat happened but my phone got stuck and whenever i switch on its shows only sony its not switching on or off pls help me need your help
Try to shot down force fully then flash stock rom using flashtool
