Haha Yes sorry man

WOW. The ROM is just smooth as hell on my P700 and I didn't use Greenify and PurePerformances. This is just marvelous. There's no bugs so far, everything works flawlessly. Without any doubt the most promising ROM for our good old device. CONGRATS !

It looks nice, I will gonna try it

Yes you are being laggy should be the last thing you encounter in this ROM.... You did a clean install?? (Factory reset, clean cache, and dalvik cache then in mounts and storage format everything except media storage and sdcard [not necessary]. )??

Personally I haven't found the need to use greenify, pure performances and android tweaker... If this issue persists (Since it's not common to all) you could go ahead and use those speed tweaks

@Asce1062 nice work and good rom.
But experience fc on some settings, can't remember what. switch back to LS.
And also, is it possible to use kernel tweaker rather than trickster mod?

FC's are .
1. When you select wallpapers in settings (Just open wally app manually)
2. In the cyanhacker controls
These are a work in progress... Be patient
And about kernel tweaker.... You could download it from play store (it won't be default app) but you can still use it... :B

Installation on the Galaxy Player 4.0/ Galaxy S 4.0
Note: Please backup your efs in case of something goes wrong (the zip should backup it but we're never too sure) To do so execute this command:
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/stl3 of=/sdcard/efs.rfs
*** If upgrading from CM9 or CM10, it is recommended that you wipe data.
1. Download cm-9-20130402-kernel-preflash.zip
md5: 4a900fcddbc3d81d121a7b9c9d4bb0a0
2. Download this rom
3. Make all your backups.
4. Make sure your efs is intact (not blank).
5. Boot into recovery, make more backups.
6. Flash cm-9-20130402-kernel-preflash.zip (temporary workaround for first-time install from stock)
7. Flash this rom
Installation Notes:
When you install for the first time, there is a conversion to the new MTD partition layout. The installer will flash the new kernel and reboot. It is possible for this process to hang up on the samsung logo (still working that part out). It is normal to see the Samsung logo appear 3 seperate times during this reboot phase. **Please wait at least a minute before assuming you are stuck.** If this happens, you should extract the boot.img from the installer zip and flash it with heimdall (heimdall flash --kernel boot.img, or other appropriate GUI methods). It should boot back into recovery and continue the installation. Once the install finishes, it should reboot once more back into recovery, which gives you the opportunity to flash your gapps.

Q: This rom seems slow and I have very little free ram.
A: Try using the Sultan Kernel or KKernel. Try using the SmartassV2 governer with sio, and experiment around with the clock speed (For me, 1320MHz is stable).
The app Greenify also helps; I usually have ~150MB in free ram.
Also try installing the Crossbreeder Mod or Pimp My Rom
Another thing you can do is disable the animations under developer settings (scroll down about to about 3/4 of the page)
If it still feels really slow, you might want to switch to Slim Rom or CM10.1

basically, i just looked at the files for other devices and modified a few things for the galaxy player

Can confirm it boots - wifi and data all work fine. Accepts CM10 themes and is very snappy so far (takes about five minutes to calibrate to the new ROM, gets a bit hot then too).
Uses nova as a launcher I look forward to messing around the settings and music/browser apps - so far so good.
Thanks!

is it 4.2.2 or 4.1.2 ? does it have hebrew ? if it's 4.1.2, the menus are rtl (right to left) when hebrew is selected as a system language ?

It's 4.1.2 - don't know about Hebrew as I've switched ROMS. No problem with this though, it's tight, lag free and as far as I can remember everything works fine. The latest version of Lupus kernel gives better battery life and performance IMO, but Lupus still suffers from Wifi freezes (usually after video streaming or a big download), which require a reboot. Fusion works fine though.

Does AOKP really turns the WiFi off whenever the phone is in sleep mode? I had this too in AOKP milestone.

Thank you for your hard work, but, does this forum need ANOTHER CM based ROM? They are all buggy and hog battery.
Actually it's a very fast and snappy ROM. I have just flashed it. One thing I discovered is that system partition is again detected as 512mb even though I have repartitioned it in 1gb. Another thing also is that TRDS seems not to be working, as nothing is changed when you enable it manually. I will keep it and see how it goes. So far, it's a very well performing ROM, even for such an early build. Keep it up.

I can't say right now, will probably give it a shot on the next weekend.
Sorry to be OT, but could anyone build just a simple pure AOSP rom with all the optimizations available in the building process (O3, Linaro, UberTC etc.) compatible with xposed so that anyone can customize it they way he wants with Gravitybox? I mean no CM rom or based on it, just Nexus-like pure AOSP but optimized for speed. Would that be possible @aniket.lamba? Thanks in advance for any answers and I 'm sorry again to be OT.

The AOSP ROM I builded is pure AOSP with some optimisations for performance and battery life + RRO layers support. That's pretty near to stock android though.I'll post it to tomorrow.

I think you should make SELinux permissive by default because of Viper4Android preinstalled in this ROM.. Just a thought of mine

I think the solution can be that one can download an selinux switcher from the app store and use that.

To get work V4A with enforcing selinux just flash Supersu zip After that I recommend flash V4A from this thread.
Cyanogenmod are doing a lot of changes to LiveDisplay, and that is the reason why it is so bugged out at the moment.
