DNA MIUI - HTC Droid DNA

Does anyone know if we will be getting MIUI support for the DNA? I have tried all of the ones that seem to be available but none seem to work very well at this point. It would be great to see MIUI support for CDMA DNA

Tqr had been working on a port which I was following for the week the thread was open. He uploaded a ROM. I assume somebody said something and it appears he got pissed about and took it down. I don't know for sure but that's what it looks like to me. It's a shame because I was looking forward to playing with it.

I just recently made a build for the Verizon HTC One (m7).
Which works very well, with only a couple pretty minor quirks.
So I went ahead and just did a build of the same for the DNA.
Everything works just the same as it does in my m7 build. (posted here)
So, after work today, maybe I will go ahead and make a thread for it in the Dev section and get it posted up for those interested.

XDA really needs to do something about having a place for advanced users to go and have intelligent discussions without having idiots that can't read to save their lives (how they rooted a phone is beyond me) coming in and asking the same newb questions 10,000 times, or other idiot crybabies completely missing the point of trying to have advanced user discussion and defending people who should have no business using bug riddled software.

His are built at a different time of day, so you get newer commits and the quick fixes for anything that may be wonky. Also, it looks like fitsnugly is building from a working passion branch, since the current git branch is screwed up

Mine are just run at different times. And since the last nightly was from 12/16 7:18pm EST and this was run at 12/17 9:00am EST, I have the listed commits that weren't in the recent official nightly before the build broke.
awesome!
its not any different really except that fitsnugly compiles/uploads at different times. so its possible to get a nightly and the commits before its uploaded by buildbot

But, normal things like audio/mic/radios/etc work, correct? I'm itchin' for some JB...

Quick question - the camera included is the old cm9 one or the gallery integrated cm10 one ? Also touch to focus didn't work in videos on cm10 camera - does it work here ?
Weill if this is as good as CM10. Yes you will be able to use this everyday. But you have to remember there is still a lot broken. I used CM10 for awhile. Liked it but came running back to Rootbox. I will give this a try for sure!! I ask everyone coming to this thread. Please do not start asking for things not working. The devs are working to get things going and they know whats not working. So my advice is everything is broken till it gets fixed. We dont need this thread clogged up with a bunch of [email protected]#$%!!!!! But I already know we will have 50 pages of people complaining about whats not working. READ THE FIRST POST!!! THEN READ IT AGAIN!!!!!! Thanks Fonso for bringing this to us. Also a huge Thank You to Bajee!!! :good::good:

[ Unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 Build on HTC DNA ]
..CURRENT BUILD..
Since we have others working on CM10.1 atm, I'll be taking a short break from working on it.
Boot.img @ http://bit.ly/Z67HB2
Flashable Zip @ http://bit.ly/Z1FLQ8
This is an older build (already posted on androidfilehost) that I am repackaging without the boot.img.
I need to look over the boot.img to make sure its safe for certain users.
Boot.img added today [03.02.13]
This build is highly experimental and in fact, doesnt completely boot up. I think it boots to a completely screwed up screen tbh. I can't recall (its from the 18th!) This buildnt isn't the screwed up screen version.

If you're ever in the mood to donate, don't forget about the others that have helped advance the HTC DNA to new levels (e.g. dsb9938, jcase, beaups, CM team, or XDA for bringing us all together!). Because it was not fully developed yet. I sent @invisiblek a VK810 to get CM12 going on this device and he/we were trying to work out some of the remaining issues before posting it. Life got too busy for me so had very little time to work on the vk810. @invisiblek basically got this going himself. Hoping to have radio issue resolved next time I get a chance to play on this.

I'm not trying to start anything here. I kind of assumed everyone knew that the CM12.1 repos were InvisibleK's. Forked from NGVincent's github, which was forked from upstream CM11 V500 official. I'm not trying to take credit for anyone else's work. I'm just trying to get the ROM into people's hands. That's how open source works. you write something, you release it. But the average user (yes, even here on XDA) does not use Linux, much less knows how to build a ROM. It's not like i'm trying to take credit for anyone else's work
Thanks goes out to everyone else who worked on this, PaperWastage, CyanogenMod Team, TheRodeWarrior, DrGravy, etc. and anyone else I've missed.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood, but with the amount of work InvisibleK does for CM, I assumed he was part of CM Team. I'm sorry if this is not the case.
As we are all aware, GPS and 4G do not work due to some issues with the RIL. I've looked into it. NGVincent looked into it. InivisibleK looked into it. nobody has it working because the modem is a proprietary blob that no other CM supported device uses (except for the Droid Maxx HD, but it uses the CDMA side so still not of much use to us). To be completely honest, I doubt it's ever going to get fixed until some other pure LTE device that uses the msm8960 gets a GooglePlay Edition. either that, or someone with a whole lot more free time and talent than any of us have sits down and reverse engineers the RIL from the stock ROM. Probably not gonna happen...
The fact of the matter is, that while having working data would be nice (and certainly the last major hurdle to get over before official CM status can be achieved), it's hardly a deal breaker. To be honest, on my tablet I could care less. I only ever use it in places I have WiFi anyway (work/home). We've been using a 4G-less CM11 ROM for at least as long as I've been developing for this tablet, and nobody seemed to have any complaints about it. Only positive things to say.
and for the record, it's come to my attention that semi-nightly builds are available here at http://www.invisiblek.org/roms/cm-12.1/vk810/
credit where due...
