I was using Nova but no setting. I'm using Apex and no setting either.

Nova settings > Look & feel > notification bar, then untick the "show notification bar"

Settings/apps/select app/untick show notifications

Yes, if I recall when you go into system settings/apps/ there is an option to show notifications for each app. Running CM11 at the moment so can't check for you.

Yes. If you are using LauncherPro Plus, then you can download Icon Packs for Launcher Pro to do it.

Can't really customize the lock screen on Samsung's touchwiz. You can disable the ripple effect in settings>security>lockscreen.. can't remember the exact location of it.. but it's in security options. You can also edit the shortcuts on the lockscreen, add a weather widget, etc.,
Is there anyway to use a jellybean unlock theme?
You can search play store for lockscreen apps like widgetlocker, lockbot, etc...

In ICS 4 shortcuts are the max you can add and in JB it's 5.
Go to settings>Security>Lock screen Options> click on shortcuts.

So easy :victory:
I thought that was only a on/off option in shortcuts

Search function in app drawer

Will it be possible to re introduce the search button in the app drawer so that I can find apps by name and not have to scroll through the screens?

I was just coming to the forum to request this and I see it's already been done.
I'd love to see this implemented!
Has then been implemented? I just installed Themer and scrolling through all my apps is not fun.
