Wow, did not know that this Q&A thing happened lol. Sorry for the late response. I believe the culprit is NFC always being on, but as of this moment I have no fix for it
Thanks for your work on this rom. I've been using the 4.4.4 version as my main rom with no problems. Also tried out 5.0005 for a few hours with no problems, other than missing the Beanstalk options and settings that are missing from the current lollipop version. Keep up the great work.
a little bug
Hi is this ROM better than beanstalk uopdated to jan 21? the only bug i found was that apps like qrdroid or wordlens doesn´t work
talking about beanstlak I am really stuck with this great ROM, the only bug i found, perphas some lag sometimes when writting, is that apps like QrDroid or word lens doesn´t work. The battery has a great life and is really fast. Thanks guys!!!

The last rom (january 21) was great the only bug that i found was not big deal just can not use qrdroid app. Tonight I will install this new one.

Hi. I've been following this thread and love your ROM. I'm newly shopping ROMs because a CM update bricked my e970. Wondering can I dirty flash from 4.4.4065 to 5.0050? 444065 is KitKat and 50050 is Lollipop, correct? Two questions. Thanks so much. Please note, I have not had any bugs with 444065, and my NFC is not on and is not greyed out.

good ui but battery drains quickly...... flashed slimkat
Really Short Battery Life with RR v5.15
So I flashed my Galaxy S Vibrant with the latest version of RR and just setup a few Google apps on it (Gmail & Google Play Music) and then left it with the WiFi off and no SIM, in other words it shouldn't be communicating with the outside world at all. I then let it sit after a full-charge and checked it later. To my surprise, it burned the battery at an extraordinarily fast rate. Running it for 10h 1m 4s brought me down to 34% battery, with google play services accounting for 63% of the usage. Do I have something configured incorrectly? If you need anymore information from me just ask, I would provide a screenshot of my usage screen but I have less than 10 posts so I can't post a link. I'm not really sure what to do

just try another rom this one is no longer maintained and other people have reported having the same problem

I got straight talk galaxy s3 it runs off Verizon towers . Its the . SCH-968C. What would be the best safest and fastest way to root this phone its new my old one that i had a few monuths back was easey i uesed towelroot . Took 3 min . But that dont work now and its the same model phone . If you can help plzz do and i dont have a computer so ill have to do it manually.

just a few things i have noticed
Sorry I don't have 10 posts, I guess replies don't count. Anyways, I like the ROM so far. runs smooth. Battery life is actually really great. im coming off of one of the ODEX roms for the G3. I used to use CM all the time on my old S3. Here are things I have found that don't work yet.
Regular size icons. I feel as though my icons are stuck in "Large icon mode" regardless of if I toggle this function on or off. Too big for their own good.
Im sure this will come in later iterations, but icon pack compatibility? perhaps in lollipop it is in a different location from previous iterations of CM?
This ROM has been eating my data up for no reason. I don't even have data on and it is destroying my data plan. 12-7-14 Build as of right now
Why isn't anyone using this ROM?
I have been on this ROM for the past two weeks with only one freeze. Why aren't others using this ROM?
Battery
My battery life is very poor namely from miscellaneous, anyone else have this problem?
Can't get Xposed to work
I can't get xposed to work on this ROM, that might be because it is still in alpha for lollipop though, I flash it, and when I bring up the Xposed installer, it says that it is not installed.
is there a current maintainer for the vs985 for this rom?
Currently on the 12/19 build, getting freeze ups resulting in battery pull to reset. Happens usually at least twice a day. No mods are installed. Just the build itself. The previous build I was on did this as well.

I am totally happy with this rom and I would like to thank you for the amount of work you invested into giving my reliable phone new life and i love to use it with your rom.
The things you mentioned are of course correct, but my camera is working, despite of what you wrote in the main thread.
I am using this rom daily and so i will try to add things into the bug section once bugs appear.

first of all hearty thank's for developers who are working and giving everything for making ROM's available for devices for which the company has stopped providing any updates,
- i am using HTC One X +, and i have been able to unlock and root my device and installed TWRP Recovery successfully.
- i am now planning to install cynogen mod cm-11-20150308-NIGHTLY-enrc2b.zip, can any one provide me with any special instructions for starting this operation, like can i install this zip directly with TWRP, any special instructions.
- i am totally impressed with the look and feel of android lollipop version. which i have seen on lot of devices.
- is there been any development on cyanogen MOD 12 Lollipop version for HTC ONE X +, and if it is available can anyone please provide me a link for installation.

Installed the latest build, it's working great so far.
Three things I noticed :
1. Sometimes the phone is slow for around a minute or two after waking it up (it starts working properly again eventually).
2. USB storage is not always recognized by the PC (I have to plug/unplug a few times).
3. Can't copy files to storage/emulated/legacy (I had to copy Titanium back-ups elsewhere and use a custom path to restore apps). Also, when trying to access from device, it's password protected.
Other than that, everything works great. Thanks for bringing 5.0 to the One X+.

1day with normal useage smoother than stock cm11 get over 1k3 benchmark with quadrant benchmark (without SD card), stock cm11 only is 1k1

and i m using slimkat now with fluid kernel for daily use (got 1k3)
i feel lag with whatsapp when switching contact and got black screen or delay wake up imcomming call problemm
since i have not running quadrant long time, I feel so strange for the score w/ 4.4 os
there's a large different compare to ics especially on i/o performance

Fuild kernel is so old. Download Lastest Semaphore kernel "s" version If you want more RAM download "sv" version and If you want more more RAM use "sv" version + Bigmem.zip but before flash Bigmem you should change resolution video recording to 480p because bigmem cause camera crash with 720p resolution. And now have Omni lollipop you can try Here

actually i have tried semaphore before, but it seems quite drain battery
i think that neat kernel is the one much save battery
BTW omni lollipop can boot up now?
i may have a comparison with coderom

before, i will choose 4.2.2 >4.4.4 because it is very save battery.
it may drops only 5% for whole night compared with 4.4 up to 20-40% (wifi on)
however, i always got FC problem when using whatsapp on 4.2.2 os
4.4.4 is much smooth. at least i wont get fc, maybe just sometime pop out the message to wait/close/cancel
however, battery consumption is a big problem in exchange with performance.
i have to bring a 10000mah power bank.
i will use omni for a week first then go for codeRom(maybe next update)

Stock kernel with CodeROM if you want ROM save battery is Spirit ROM in my signature but don't use semaphore kernel stock kernel, too

I've got myself on a couple forum's, this and a few others, I am a total beginner when technology is concerned, I'm on these sites for help and to learn what I can, I got a couple of phones, and I want to root my moto, where is the best sites or Web pages to start learning how to do these things myself, I know most of you work and fiddle and set things up brilliantly like making custom roms, to me that sounds like you got to be a genuine, and I respect the people who work hard on these things then let people have your work, amazing customized roms, apps, everything, I just like to start at the bottom and root my moto g first then go on from there. Recording problem
Somehow i tried to message my friend using WhatsApp and bb messengger.. and when i start recording. all the apps force close and the camera had the same problem. it can record video but the audio doesn't recorded.. .. and i'm using HM2014813.
I like this rom build. it's simple and save a lot of storage space.. hehe
LINE app can't access wifi.
I have installed cyanogenmod 11(http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/hm201481x-cyanogenmod-11-0-t3159419) on redmi 2(HM2014818) and most of the apps are working fine. Only LINE app can't access wifi Internet. It works fine with mobile data.
Any solution?

Proximity sensor not working.
I installed cyanogen (25/07) but proximity sensor is not working and screen remains off for around 30 seconds . Even pressing power button doesn't switch on the screen for this period.
I am using redmi2(xxxxxxx18) that is indian version.

after flashing the latest cyanogenmod v11 my phone is taking forever to boot and still booting since last night, any help ? also its my first time flashing the mod into my redmi 2 (1GB ram 8GB internal)
I just installed this afternoon, rom is very comfortable and stable when used. but I have a suggestion, please optimize all aspects ranging from the speed, performance, stability and others, I hope you take my advice...

Hi, since I installed CM11 on my redmi 2 (just upgraded to latest version) GPS is not working anymore. It just doesn't find any satellites.

Black screen
Hello,
I flashed this ROM last weekend. Full wipe before the flash. This one runs smoother than other CM11 or MIUI ROM, that's a fact! Thank you for that.
However I encounter some "black screen" issues. Sometimes, for no reasons, the screen goes black and I have to hard reset the phone to get it working again. The LED lighting is still functionnal when the screen goes black.
I already tried to get some logs but it seems that the logs are wiped when the device is restarted. If you can tell me how to get you some logs, I'll do it. For now I will reflash it without the Google Apps to see if the problem occurs again.
