[Q] Need help with bricked Hisense Sero 7 Pro. No CWM or fastboot. - Hisense Sero 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Hi Everyone. Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread of post here. My Hisense Sero 7 Pro is also bricked after using TakTik Rom for a few months.
Volume- and Power = no response
Volume+ and Power = Hisense logo stuck
Power = Hisense logo stuck
when connected via usb to PC, the tablet is not detected by the PC so the devices is not listed under adb. (I have another stock Hisense that is recognized so I know i have adb set up correctly)
My Resources:
-I have a 2nd Hisense Tablet with stock rom which works perfectly so i know all my chargers and stuff are working properly.
-I have a 32GB micro sd card which i have try formatting and putting recovery roms on but since i can't access CWM, or fastboot.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

My TWRP installation is getting aborted
I get an error message that says "Aborting, an error has been detected, cannot repack recovery..."
Device is updated and rooted; booted up normally. Tried to run in fastboot mode but the computer does not detect it. In the device manager, the device appears as "Android Composite ADB Interface". Please can you help.

Please remove and re install your device drivers on your PC, delete the txt file and folders from the TWRP file, (not the executable). Reboot your tablet normally, connect to the PC and run the program automatically, you should get an install, but the orientation will be incorrect. Simply reboot your tablet again and reconnect, this time run the TWRP program following the steps for manual mode.
Been trying to install TWRP and keep getting a not compatible device error. When connecting the tablet, HTC Dream drivers get installed, I have removed drivers, forced installed android ADB drivers rebooted pc and tablet still nothing.
Any thoughts?

For the DL701Q Tablet, please confirm that you have downloaded the TWRP installer that is compatible with MTK devices with UBIFS system,

Using the 2.8.2.0 file listed in the how to page linked above.
Also that is the odd thing, It is saying the tablet is not a MTK device but when I pull up the hardware specs it is MediaTek MTK8127
Not sure why the installer isn't detecting your tablet correctly. Are you using the ubifs version. I will send you the zip file of the one I used.

I am using the 2.8.2.0 twrp software on windows 8. I have root by using iroot and have chain fire's supersu working. I can't get the computer to see the tablet using the twrp software. The device manager shows the tablet as dl701q. Any clarification on what drivers I am supposed to use would be great.

You will need normal and recovery drivers for sure. To get recovery driver, power off tablet, hold volume button closest to power button; press and hold power button simultaneously. Should get you to bootloader to select recovery and connect to pc. I should say though that I am running windows 7 not 8.

what version of easy magic twrp is supposed to work with the dl701q? Thanks.
2.8.2 for UBIFS system.

[Q] Ubuntu Touch on Huawei Ascend Y530-U00?

Hello, I am new to the forums and new to rooting, flashing and installing OS' and ROMs on phones.
So, I followed a tutorial from mid 2014 on PCAdvisor (I can unfortunately not share links as I am new to the forums).
I am stuck on step 7 where I have to use
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
. The phone turns of as expected, but when it turns on again, it gets stuck on the booting screen, only showing the Huawei logo.
The I did do a factory reset, and enabled USB debugging. After the first try failed, I went to the bootloader (Volume Up + Power Button) and did a factory reset from there, and tried
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
again, but without luck and still stuck in the boot screen.
I do have an average knowledge to the Ubuntu terminal on computers, and Ubuntu is what I use (and misuse) every day, so such things shouldn't be a problem.
I know the specifications of this phone aren't the recommended ones for use of Ubuntu Touch, but I still wanted to give it a try. If it bricks, I'll have an excuse to buy the Bq Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition (The cases looks so neat!).
So, with all this, has anyone managed to get past this step? Has anyone managed to install Ubuntu Touch on this model? If not, has anyone managed to install a custom ROM or something similar on this model?
Thanks in advance.
-Inuit Viking.
THANKS

Onda v891w CH V1 Bricked

Hi,
I'm a noob, have tried looking online and in these forums for answers, but am getting lost and am finding myself in over my head. So please be patient with me.
I have an Onda v891w CH V1 tablet with a quad core Z8300 that runs an English Windows 10 and Android 5.1. In a bold attempt to root my Android install, I ended up bricking my device. It now gets stuck on the animated logo screen when booting and never boots either of the 2 operating systems.
I've been browsing online and found a few guides for Onda tablets, but most deal with different models or different versions of the v891w (like the V5, or the Z3735 processor). I believe I've managed to find an Android rom or firmware for my device here, but I'm unable to install it. I'm very likely doing something wrong, I just can't figure out what.
First of all, the thread talks about pressing ESC or F7. I've tried hooking the tablet up to a powered usb hub, along with a usb keyboard and the content of the V891W CH中性固件(适用于V1版本32GB)-20160701.zip file on a usb key. Unfortunately I'm not able to get into the BIOS. I suspect that the usb hub doesn't supply enough power for all the devices. It's an EasyAcc D70 7 port hub with a 5V input.
I noticed in the replies in the thread I mentioned above that people were flashing img files from fastboot, so I've tried booting my tablet in bootloader mode, unlocked the bootloader using the command flashboot oem unlock and tried flashing the boot.img and/or system.img files from the archive using the commands fastboot flash boot boot.img and fastboot flash system system.img. That results in the error FAILED (remote: Flash failure: Not Found). On the tablet it says Failed to get partition boot: Not Found
I'm not sure what to try at this point. If there's anyone who wants to take pity on a newbie and walk me through some step by step instructions on what to try, I would be very grateful.
Update: I've now also tried an Anker 60W 3 PowerIQ Hub to connect the keyboard with the tablet and the usb key, without success. Both the Anker and the EasyAcc USB hub are powered hubs. I could really use some advice on how to get this Onda tablet back operational.

P9 Lite VNS-L23 model not entering fastboot

HI Guys,
Hope you can help me with this, I've been doing a few test on my p9 lite and just recently I had to recover it via the dload option, I downloaded the official ROM 7.0 for my phone and it installed with no problem, at first it all worked fine, I started seeing problems like bluetooth is not working and my camera wont load anymore, I decided to install a different ROM but it wont let me access fastboot anymore.
I tried vol down + power key = phone boots up normally
I tried vol down + usb cable = phone boots up normally (i tried different cables and pcs)
I tried vol up + power key = It enters stock recovery
I tried factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik from stock recovery and still bluetooth/camera/fastboot are not working
The phone also didn’t work with MTP to transfer files to/from on my pc linux/windows/mac
I need help on getting fastboot to work so that i can use a custom recovery and install a custom ROM, I have search over for a guide on how to fix this problem but I haven’t been lucky yet.
Exact version I am running VNS-L23C605B376
EMUI 5.0

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Q&A thread that's specific to your device.

[Bootloop] Orange State - your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted

Hi I followed a guide in order to root my phone Mediatek Ulefone armor x2.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery [filename.img]
Code:
fastboot boot recovery [filename.img]
Code:
fastboot reboot
But now it is stuck in a bootloop saying: Android Orange State Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted.
I can't force shutdown the device and also I can't restart in recovery mode with VolumeUP + PowerButton because it's restart in bootloop.
Also I've tried to plug in USB on a PC but adb don't recognize my device.
How can I do?
did anything work as i have the same problem please reply
Your best bet may be to reflash the stock OS. What's your device model, as well as the steps you used to unlock your bootloader? I may be able to help fix the problem
I have the same problem too. My device is a tablet. Brand CHUWI Hi9 Plus. Can someone help me?
