Definitely gonna give this a try later tonight!

Well done mate:good:

Man it sure is good to see Dev going on. Thanks @clark44. I remember you from one of my old phones. Just don't remember what one. Haha. Too many.

Very nice to see this. Thank you very much good sir, been a long time waiting for recovery. Can't wait to flash.

Extracted the tot so there will be some files out of place or left in another partition that I will need to put back in place.

Yay! first sprint g3 rom. Felt like it would never get here.
Congrats Clark! And tyvm!

By chance advance reboot and battery full notiifcation gone?

Besides the bugs mentioned. How's the Rom running? Is it faster and smoother than stock?

Awesome to see everything come together. Can't wait to check out your build later tonight. I am nandroided and ready to go.

Ahhh, I downloaded the source for kernel and zv4. Following the directions they supply to get it to build was either throwing errors or freezing up my laptop and I was going to ask you how you got it to build but you went a different route. Good work btw!

I keep checking this thread obsessively... Lol

Yay

Awesome. Thanks clark44!

[ROM] RMG-ROM - AOSP (Android 2.2.1) w/ Apps2SD, Trackball Alert, Wake, Blackbar

This AOSP-based ROM comes from the latest froyo branch (2.2.1). I have it rooted with adb remount support and have included the following modest list of improvements:
Rotary Lockscreen (scrapped from CM6) (FINAL version only)
Battery % mod
lilh3rmit's Trackball Alert support
DarkTremor Apps2SD (a2sd and FINAL versions)
Boombuler's AppWidgetPicker
zipaligned and deodexed
busybox, bash, and nano included
Black status bar w/ white text and updated icons (from sense ui) (from formel-lms)
Stock "X" boot animation
HUGE apn list
Trackball Wake (cyanogenmod / crimsondr)
"H" icon for HSXPA (cyanogenmod)
Reboot option (incl. recovery and bootloader) via power button (cyanogenmod)
Small changes to boost upload speed and overall performance in build.prop
Some extra wallpapers from CM6.
Installation Instructions:
BACK EVERYTHING UP! Do a nandroid and backup your apps/data, and back up your sdcard if you are using a2sd.
If you don't have the Froyo (32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.12_7) radio installed, flash it. I have also used the "Korean" (5.08) radio with good results. It's up to you.
(a2sd only) From recovery, format your sdcard to include an ext3 partition. I use 512mb, no swap partition. THIS WILL WIPE YOUR SDCARD.
Flash the ROM from the link below.
Flash the Google Apps package. I took them out of the main ROM since they keep being updated.
Sign in to the market to complete setup.
I personally run wildmonks kernel (link) using the "interactive" scheduler. Of course, the stock kernel is included with my ROM.
If you have any problems, please post them here and I will address them as I can. This is my daily use ROM and I have not experienced any issues.

I'll actually be using fromelms desire status bar. Just have to remake a couple things in framework to get the text color right. I'm not a huge fan of metamorph!
Also, the next version will have vm heap size back to default. I don't think it made any difference setting it higher.

Added Trackball Alert open source framework, too. Now you can use lilhermits Trackball Alert app to make your trackball useful.

Link has been updated. Sorry, but I guess I didn't have any notifications set for this thread. Duh! Will be doing a couple minor fixes. When I merged all the new stuff, it put in duplicates of the Setup Wizard, and Search box. Also, the only locale I have is en_us. Will put the others back in for next release.
Hi RMGeren, this looks like a nice, faily stock ROM and I’d like to try it while I’m waiting for the new Modaco release. I just have a few questions first:
Along with the black status bar, what are the other elements that are "lightly themed"? Can they be reverted?
Which non-stock Google apps are included? Is it possible to remove them?
Can the HUGE apn list be removed?
What are the changes made to build.prop? Can you provide the stock file to revert back to also?
Thanks mate.

Thanks, testing now...
Love to see these simple modded roms.

Sorry about that! Took me a while to find the error myself since there's no line number. Got it all sorted out and working on my own phone, so there should be no issues. The mediafire link should still work, but if that broke, here's my dropbox link:

[ROM][ICS OTA][08.3.12] CONROMV6][Sense3.6+DeSense][DeBloated Root Aroma][CDMA/GSM]

Welcome to CON ROM V6! This is a CDMA & GSM Combo ROM
This leak is our official OTA which launched 8/2/2012.
This is a stock, rooted, debloated version of the new 3.14.605.12 OTA. This is the only 3.14.605.12 based ROM with APM, Tweaks, Aroma Installer, and Aroma based Sense and De-Sense! It was also the first to have working root.
Current Bugs: You tell me.
Screenshots: Attached, looks like Sense 3.6 lol. (Screeshots do NOT reflect the new software #)
Installation:
Rom is an S-ON & S-OFF Combo Rom.
1) Wipe
2) Flash in Recovery
3) Reboot
*If you are S-ON, REBOOT TO BOOTLOADER TO FLASH PH98IMG.ZIP!*
*GB Firmware patch is automatic. Aroma knows which firmware you are on and adjusts the rom during the installation.*
*Warning: If you have installed a previous version of this rom, the installer script will read that you are S-OFF. This is normal and means the correct boot image is already there. This is normal and no PH98IMG.zip is required on your part!*
Enjoy!
Download: Current Version
GSM Patch v2, thanks to Boster27: Now built into Aroma! Download GSM Patch 2 WARNING: It wipes. You also need to press the home button upon reboot to get back to your launcher because verizon setup & htc setup is removed!
MODS:
V4 & V5 & V6: Some in Tweaks, Wake On Volume & Bravia Engine
Dsp manager: info here
Mods by VinceOB: Remove Location Icon
V3: Mods are integrated in LeeDroid Tweaks
V2: Remove Recent Apps, Super, and Ultra Smooth Rosie-> Click Here
Change Log:
V6- Added the changes of the real OTA to V5, fixed an error a small minority of users would encounter in Aroma.
V5- Improved Aroma, added Sony Bravia, Sony XLOUD, and GSM Support
V4- Unhide some apps from Rosie, Removed Verizon Rosie Tab, added 2 more aroma options, added AOSP keyboard, removed 20MB of useless libs, removed vzw media backup, tweaked default settings, fixed lockscreen shortcuts, APM
V3- LeeDroid Tweaks Added, Sense & De-Sense via Aroma Installer! Like having two roms in one!
V2- Root Fix, Aroma Installer Added, Tweaks Developed, Further Debloat, Removed Apple Patent thing
V1- Initial Release

Do not use any components/tweaks of this rom as a base or any components of my aroma installer scripting without explicit permission and on sites other than XDA.
Thanks and/or donations encourage further development.
Note: I have sold my Rezound and will likely not continue any development for this ROM. That does not mean however that the ROM is no good

You'll need to open up the .zip file, extract boot.img, then 'fastboot flash boot boot.img' in fastboot.
Or, make a PH98IMG.zip.
Old kernels may work on this ROM anyway. I'd bet that they do. Someone will test, I'm sure. But to use the new kernel, there are many ways to skin the cat with S-On. It just won't reboot and flash itself!
NICE CON!!!! I can't wait to see this as a finished product and be able to flash it.
Do you also plan to make a "senseless" version? PLEASE SAY YES!!! LOL
More progress will be made tonight. I will put up a couple versions with various amounts of stuff ripped out.
I will not provide any support for gsm users until further notice.

Looks VERY interesting. Thanks, Con!
Con, can you comment at all towards the kernel? I've heard its still borked, ramps up and is still pretty warm. I was really hoping the scaling would be fixed for the OTA.
Thanks for your efforts though, they are greatly appreciated!

Scaling really isn't the problem. It's perflock that is the issue. It probably won't be fixed until source is released
I honestly don't see what the issue with the kernel is. If it is the same as the 5/7 leak which I think it is, I haven't had problems with it. The best thing to do is don't install any apps that allow you to view or modify the CPU speed and just let it do its thing.

[ROM][4.4.2][ND7][7/3] SR Remix KitKat | Stable | DeOdex | Zipaligned | Fast

Welcome! If you found yourself looking for something like CleanROM based on the new 4.4.2 OTA, then you have come to the right place. Scott has moved on to other devices, so I decided to follow along with what he started. This has been thoroughly tested by myself and others with no issues. Want stability you can trust? I have not had a reboot with this ROM, nor have any testers. For best results, please follow the installation instructions below!
About:
Stock Look & Feel
Stable
Fast & Smooth
Based on the new FND7 OTA from VZW
Features:
Rooted (SuperSU)
Init.d enabled
Busybox
DeOdexed
Bloat Removed
Wifi Tether Fix
3 Way Reboot Menu
Updated Samsung and Google apps in /System
Build.prop tweaks for performance
What works:
Everything
What doesn't:
Nothing!
Credits:
Chainfire for SuperSU
killa408shark for testing
@icedventimocha for 3 way reboot
Phil3759 for the wonderful recovery
scrosler for CleanROM
jbeitel for the 1% battery mod xml's and images
Team N3BULA - @lacoursiere18 ; @Deckoz2302 ; @fkfmfz - Because they are awesome!
Installation:
Must have recovery installed (I recommend either Philz or CWM)
Copy ROM to external SDcard
Flash the new 4.3 firmware with Odin 3.07 from the OTA found HERE!
Reboot to current ROM
Reboot to Recovery
Wipe Data/Factory reset (I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Cache (Again, I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Dalvik Cache
I recommend formatting System, Cache, Data, and /sdcard (internal memory) on first install but this may not be completely necessary as it will wipe absolutely everything. If you decide to wipe the internal memory, make sure your backups and this ROM is stored on the external sdcard.
Flash ROM
Profit!
A couple things to note:
This is built from the OTA tar. Not another ROM or the leak!
If you use a different kernel, do not report issues until you verify issue with stock (included kernel).
If you do not flash firmware with Odin and use Mobile Odin instead, do not report issues until you flash FW with Odin on the computer.
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, but of course you would know that if you are flashing this.
Of course your warranty is already voided from rooting your phone.
If you would like to use this as a base, please include me in your credits and link to this thread.
I am in general a very busy person, so I like to rely on you and other XDA members to help eachother. That is what this is all about right? I will continue to update this as I feel necessary. With my flashing habit, that may be alot
I built this ROM for my personal use and decided to share because of how well it works.
I am not a themer, so don't expect any fancy themes! If you would like to create a theme and share, please let me know and I will add it to the OP. This goes for any other MOD. I am happy to add things to the builds if they work well and you want to contribute.

Also Note: If you do not clean flash this and use an email exchange account, please remove your exchange account before flashing and re-add it after install. Otherwise you will experience FC issues.

I wiped my internal sdcard because I had too many backups. I will keep playing around with it, like I said I've seen this before I just can't recall what I did to fix it....

We've been having issues with TWRP. It will probably work, but aroma might be slow/laggy. That's why we suggest Philz

I made a stupid error and left a decompiled Settings folder in the system/app. It's not going to hurt anything just take up space.... delete it out of the zip or if you flashed already use a root file explorer and delete it. But I'm going to re upload it....
Why are the links all jacked up but great work.
Edit: On the computer I can see on the mobile app it looks crazy can't tell it's uploading apologizes.

try this kernel and let me know. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705074
I took the update to get the base so my updated hboot and radio could have an effect on wifi with the provided kernel.... because my wifi works.
just tried it and it seems to be working thank you very much

Actually can you do me a favor and flash this kernel because JMZ doesn't have init.d support

Ok, so flash new 1.58.502.1 & then flash the kernel from M8Rx_HTC-One_M8_1.12.502.18_4-23-14? FYI, TWRP has worked fine on your other previous.
.
Link is back up, Fixed the decompiled folder I left in the system... sorry about that. Also the write protection module... forgot the init.sh to enable it.
It's solid now.... If your having trouble with WIFI try using the kernel posted in the op under the downloads.
But I suggest everyone return to stock and take the update.

Yeah new link is in the OP along with the kernel if wifi's not working... pretty sure it won't with the Kernel provided in the ROM since you'll need to update the firmware

Notes
-Apps and files that are not in Rom are in Bloat package.
-Rom has been "DeKnoxed", but this does not prevent the Knox flag from being tripped during the flash process at this point as the custom recovery will trip it. Flash at your own risk etc
-BUGS-
-Private Mode does not work.
-Anyone feel free to use this ROM or parts of it as you please, just give credit where due.
A new Sprint Rom Will try this out soon
Installed flawless, and so far everything I try works, including picture messaging from the stock mms program.
Nice work!

The APK's are already included in the ROM
If you want them you can grab them from the data folder in the ROM

I flashed this, but I still have Quick Connect/S Finder, so I'm thinking I did something incorrectly....

No you didn't, they are still there as I didn't remove them. I left them in as I do not know how to modify the app that has them and just removing the APK's for them still leaves them there and when you choose them they break. My main goal with this ROM was to give a truly slim TW ROM while maintaining the functionality. Its really a base for other to have only what they want on it with a few tweaks. The only thing I removed and replaced was the TW Launcher and I replaced it with Nova. Other than that I didn't want to have broken options as well as things I don't use. Smooth, Fast, and Slim is what I go for.
I have to ask, whay exactly did YOU do to this rom, aside from some more debloating. Im just seeing my OP replicated with all my work. If im mistaken I apologize but...im just seeing my work here. Or maybe just separate new features in OP?
You are seeing your work and I give you full credit, but I always look for a more debloated ROM and I was certain others do too. Your work is amazing but I also included some other CSC tweaks that were left out. I also added the extra camera modes that were not in your ROM.
I also stated in my OP that the wording for my OP was your OP. If there was a full deodexed ND2 ROM I would have used that one for my base.
I respect your talent as a developer and than you again for your base.
