[Q] What would you change about the G3 or what do you want the G4 to be like? - Verizon LG G3

My wishlist:
Much brighter LED that blinks more than once every 10 seconds
Capacitive touch buttons with optional onscreen buttons (like the OnePlusOne), as long as it doesn't increase the size of the bottom bezel.
More powerful IR blaster
Less logos on the front and back
Wireless charging out of the box
Fingerprint scanner on back power button that works as well as the iPhone fingerprint scanner (with option to use knock code too)
Shrink the bezels even more (if possible) while still keeping a 5.5" screen.
SlimPort doesn't work on older TV's. I would rather the phone support MHL. Both, if possible. Or, even better, a microHDMI port on the bottom.
Still have a replaceable battery but try and squeeze an even bigger mah battery into it, even if the phone is slightly thicker.

Agree with all of these.
Add:
An unlocked bootloader for all variants straight out of the box.
On the battery; at least a 3500 mAh

Physically, my only major gripe would be the bottom bezel with LG logo. Cut that thing off, make it as thin as the sides are. Since Verizon was so kind to place there logo on the front, well they found a perfect place where to put the LG logo and no longer giving Verizon any room... big red, always has to have there hands in something!
Other then that, maybe improve the IR Sensor a bit.
Have the latest Snapdragon 810 or anything new that comes out Q1 2015.
3GB RAM minimum.
32GB ROM Minimum.
Keep 1440p.
5.5-5.7", I love IPS, but AMOLED keeps getting popular, but I'm not sure if they should switch over yet.
Same physical bottom placement of course, I love them!
I don't really care MP on camera, these days there all quite well, it could stay at 13, I wouldn't care.
Then the usual OS updates. They are on the right path, tweak it down a bit, keep it more traditional and stock lollipop feel and improve on current LG specific features. I really wish i could turn the double tap screen on or off with stock OS. Stuff like that.

I wish they would keep it at 13 or even less and just work on better quality. The iPhone has an excellent camera at just 8mp.
But, it doesn't look like LG is going that route. I just read the G4 is going to bump the megapixels up to 20. To me, that just means a lot bigger jpeg's that probably aren't going to look any better than much smaller 8mp pictures.

Agree with everything you said. 3500 mAh. Assuming Q1 2015, 3 GHz Snapdragon 210 or 215, or Tegra K2. Anything 64-bit. 3GB (fast) ram , Adreno 400+, keep 1440p, anything higher really useless unless you're going for 10.1 in IMO.
Also, GUARANTEED UPDATES WITHIN 70DAYS FOR 2 YRS!

When I heard that the G3 had lasers, I had a totally different idea in my head. I hope the G4 is more lethal.

Thicker and use a larger (3600mAh?) battery. The thickness with my case on is just perfect.

Definitely disagree with this one. The lack of capacitive buttons was one of the major factors in my decision to get the G3. Want capacitive buttons? Get an M8.

Get an m8... Which doesn't have capacitive buttons?

Just don't jump on the giant phone bandwagon. The size of the G3 is just right.

My bad. I thought it has the same capacitive buttons on the huge black bar that the original HTC One had. So they got rid of the buttons and kept the bar. :silly:

Maybe have smaller bezel same size screen. Maybe a brighter screen(not an issue for me but many complained)

Ability to turn the lg g4 into a gpad with 16:9 aspect ratio. Ability to turn that into a laptop with keyboard dock that dual boots chrome OS and also have hdmi out for larger display.

Anyone crazy like me & would like a bigger "SCREEN" in the next G.Note 2?
Soooo.... After owning the phone for a few days and as crazy as it sounds the phone is becoming very "normal" sized to me . Now i think alot of people mis-judge this phone from Youtube comparison vids and such. I said in another post out of the 5 people i let hold it have either said wow its so light and thin or its a very nice device. I am no giant either i am about 6 foot tall lean build.
But back on topic. Now getting used to the extra real estate has been easy for me and been a pleasure to use on the go. So i was looking at my Note last night and thinking man they could prob easily expand a extra 1/4 to 1/2" if they either dropped the touch buttons at the bottom being the next generation note would run on ICS out of the box or maybe even Jelly Bean hopefully and use on screen home/back etc buttons. There is a good 1/4" worth of space up top if they removed that butt ugly At&t logo. And a good 1/2" towards the bottom.
So basically the phone wouldn't get bigger but the actual display would. I know i am on board for that. What do you guys think?
I've said for a long time that I'd like a tablet that I could make phone calls from. That is the only way I would pay for cell service for a tablet when I can just pop a wifi from my phone. I would love a full size 7-10" tablet that I simply had to use a BT or wired earpiece with since I use the phone part of my phone the absolute least of all primary features. I have a feeling that may fall into that catogory also.

Yea there's been rumors of such devices for years and the only thing I've seen come to fruitition is generic no name devices from hong kong. Companies like to keep the dividing line drawn in the sand to keep it two different markets, but it's only a matter of time before the lynch pin breaks by one company doing it then the rest will follow to avoid losing buisness to the one that gives the consumers what they want. I love the idea of one device to do everything, and android is the ideal platform to do it with (for me atleast) as I already use it for so many things from multiple emails, work, play, travel, even as a TV remote for my GTV. So yea, that would be right up my alley, I just need someone to offer it up at a decent price and a decent data package. If T-Mobile can do unlimited everything for $50/month, why can't someone offer this up for unlimited everything $100/month, I'd gladly fork over the cash, even if it did come with a BS datacap w/ data throttle (not fees).
I am for a bigger screen.
I'm also for a thicker phone if that meant a bigger battery. ie 5000 Mah battery to power my device.
To answer the OP, yes and no. While I usually grab the phone by the edges there are times when I grip the area where the AT&T logo is, so having an otherwise non-functional edge can be useful. That said, if they lengthened the screen a little more to take up some of the logo + button areas I wouldn't complain because...
I came from the Advantage, which has a 5" screen but a 4:3 aspect ratio. That made it wider and shorter than the Note. The 16:9 aspect ratio of the Note makes it much more useable as a phone AND for web browsing (narrower so easier to hold as a phone, longer for more screen room in landscape mode). So I definintely wouldn't want the Note's body any wider than it is - and I don't think I would want it any longer either. A longer screen would be fine.

My Galaxy Tab 7.7 international (6800) version has a regular dialer/phone receiver. It's really awkward to use it like a normal phone, though. Combine it with something like Samsung's HM5000 Bluetooth "pen" receiver, and you have something.
The Verizon version of the 7.7 doesn't have voice calling enabled, though I suppose you could get away with using GrooveIP and Google Voice over LTE.

I think the maximum size for a phone would be 6 inches screen size. I hope the Note 2 increases the screen size to that
5.7" should be perfect to me.
bigger screen with a bigger battery, same size though. I wouldn't care if they did a non-removable battery if they give it like a 5000 mAh battery. oh man. that would be so sweet
I would like a biggger screen in the same form factor because this phone is almost unusable with 1 hand as it is.

I wasnt aware that the international version had this enabled. This is very appealing. In a year or so I may look into the this or the aforementioned device as an alternative as the new price of these are around the price of a full blown cell/wifi tablet or close to it. Thanks for the tip.

I agree...........
a bigger screen size with basically the same device and bigger battery is what i would love to see as well i think that would be my perfect Note
Id like to see a 5.5" edge to edge display and a physical home button for the US version on the next NOTE.
-On another NOTE, Samsung goes 5.3"
swipe pad replaces the need for physical button
When i first got my hd2,i thought this is the best n max for a phone, then came my s2, now note, yes bigger is better, when you like to do all things on a single device, provided the battery is good enough for non stop 24hrs performance, yes you can surely do away with the edges because even on my s2 i hardly use home button, Coz i use swipe pad,i even turn off the phone with swipe pad,by placing screen off on the pad
I agree with the OP. If the next Note has a 5.5" - 6.0" screen AND dual front-facing speakers (like the BlackBerry PlayBook), it would be the perfect device.
I'm fine with the current size- more realestate is always cool, but any bigger and it becomes too hard to pocket it quickly...

If battery technology would ever catch up to the battery demands of today's devices then i would like to see a 6" edge to edge screen.

G2

Our precious OG now has a direct child.
LG G2 will have a 2.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5.2 inch screen at full HD, and a 2540 mAh battery.
Neat things added include the volume rockers centered on the back, dual speakers, and no front physical keys.
I think I may be sticking with LG on this round. If they have better hardware quality control, it sounds perfect. My OG is messed up thanks to quality control. Yellowed screen, dead zones in the screen. Power wise it is fine, but the quality is lacking.

I don't get why people say this. Yes, the on-screen buttons do take screen space but that's why they made the bottom bezel smaller and the screen taller. Plus, if they did put hardware buttons/capacitive buttons they would be way too awkward to hit on the very bottom of the phone. The way around this is to make the screen smaller and the bezel thick enough to place the buttons in a good position. Thus either way you lose screen space. But at least on-screen buttons allow for the option to turn them off when you want and temporarily reclaim the screen space.
This was actually a big gripe I had about the LGOG. The back button is so awkward to push and spaced too far away. I would have much rather they made the screen a little taller and included on-screen buttons. As always, opinions are opinions.

Absolutely this. Apparently I have mutantly small thumbs or something - I can't reach the whole screen of the LGOG one handed. No bigger for me for a phone. I hate having to compromise on hardware just to get a reasonably sized screen. SGS2 was the perfect physical size.
With the edge to edge screen and lack of capacitive buttons it may not be much bigger than OG.

I agree somewhat.
If we had gotten the same design as every other variant of the LGOG, It'd be my perfect size. As it stands though, the extra bulk added by AT&T makes it ever so slightly too large for my tastes.
The screen itself is the perfect size for me. Big enough to play games and see past my fingers, big enough to read books & watch videos, but still small enough to reach one-handed. If they could make a phone with No/minimal bezel and the same size screen panel, I'd love it.
I'm not sure about the G2's size, but everything else about it looks stellar.

From what I have seen the on screen buttons are transparent. However, we need to wait for the real thing to come out. I use to be a capacitive button hog but with all the cool stuff like PIE coming out I may just switch to the dark side.

Interesting to see if they find a way of making it manageable. But I find even the OG uncomfortable for extended periods with one hand, and I have big hands. Hopefully edge to edge screens and shaping like the moto x will make it better. No doubt it will even out to a sweet spot.

I tried fitting 5.5" phones in my pocket and it feels moronic. I can only imagine 5.2" will be no different. I mean makes me feel stupid for having such a brick in my pocket.
- I don't know why, but the Note 2 has been a huge hit with women I know who have tried it. Must be the same asinine behavior from women who drive monster SUVs when they don't even take the trash to the dump with it, or do any winter sports, or outdoor expeditions (camping, kayaking etc.) Maybe it's the same appeal as having a tote bigger than their upper body...
I'm going to assume dudes who have 5.2" - 5.5" phones are the same dudes who still think it's trendy to wear capris pants and have man purses to carry their "phablet". I assume nothing else beyond that, please don't troll me that.

The note is more popular with women because they put it in their purse so you won't look as stupid until you talk on it lol. The only way I could see anything over 5 inches working is if they have the screen going edge to edge and it's more of a sub 5 inch body.

Z Ultra vs. Nexus 6?

Now that a BNIB Nexus 6 (not 6p) is $300, I am getting the itch to swap my XZU for one. The N6 has a slightly faster processor, thinner bezels, higher screen resolution, more RAM, better camera (with flash), bigger battery, and oleophobic gorilla glass 3 instead of a plastic screen protector with non-oleophobic glass underneath. But I love my unique XZU with its bigger (non AMOLED) screen, thinner body, SD card slot, and water resistance.
Am I crazy to switch, or is the N6 a worthy successor at its current price? I'm guessing it'd cost around $100 to switch (sell the XZU for $200ish).

I wouldn't make such a switch (and I have tried the N6). It is a better idea to keep the Ultra until new Snapdragon 820 based devices with bigger screens are out.
To me, the smaller display and limited storage are the key deal breakers and despite the benefits of higher screen resolution, I haven't been happy with the color reproduction on some N6s I have been trying.
From my point of view, there are no device which can fully replace the Ultra just yet. There are devices that better some parameters (such as higher display resolution and a better camera) but it usually falls back on areas such as display size or developer support and so forth.
What I would recommend is rather to keep the Ultra and see if Sony introduces a Z5 Tablet Compact, which could work as a direct replacement (I have decided to get an 8 inch device as a replacement when something with Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM, 2K or 4K display etc is in the market).

I already did the switch. Ill write another post about this.
Im getting the 64 GB version Nexus 6. Cant wait to try it out. Its the only good 6 coll phablet out there.
Currently I use Z Ultra as LTE tablet on mobile broadband ($10/5GB) and it works.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to find comparable 7" tablet with decent spec.
I am recently own both of them.
The next phone in my plan is Moto X Style.
(Until the customROMs up and Price down.)
I personally think updating from SD 800 to SD 805 is very incremental in nature(benchmark scores support this idea) I'm waiting for z5 ultra or some other phablet with snapdragon 820 and quadHD screen and 4Gb of RAM. I will wait until its a year old and then I will buy that phone. I will make sure that there are a lot of developers for that phone in XDA before buying ?. My phone hits 39k in antutu, if SD 820 hits 75k it will truly be an upgrade.

Got a Nexus 6 now. Rooted it, installed CM12.
A few points:
1. Installing custom roms and Bootloader unlocking is easier than in Z ultra.
2 Gorilla Glass feels smooth, amoled is really great.
3 Camera on Nexus 6 is great. However, its better in stock rom than in CM12.
4. Very smooth. No stutters at all.
Well I currently own a Z Ultra. And recently bought a Nexus 6. I must say its a real pleasure to use the Nexus 6.. Minus the screen size, it is superior in every way.. The speaker is fantastic, developer support is there and still growing, screen with correct calibration u can achieve IPS colour quality, no yellowish/pinkish tint. Camera miles better. Battery a little better. A little better processing power.
Dun get me wrong, I love the Z Ultra, its a absolutely beautiful device and I am definitely going to keep it. But for me I could never really get used to it as a phone. Its simply too big... Development is slowing down as well. Speaker is really a joke.
The lack of a micro SDHC card slot and smaller screen killed the older nexus 6 for me.
The only real negative for me about the XZU is the speaker. Lack of flash is minor issue. After far no complaints.
If there's a Z5 ultra, I'll buy it if it's faster with more RAM and better battery life, and keeps the magnetic charge connector or replaces it with Qi, and keeps the card slot, has decent speakers and new better camera with flash.

It will definitely have a faster CPU, which will be the S820. It will probably have 3-4GB of RAM, battery probably around 3500mAh, no magnetic charging connector, and no Qi. What makes me say these things?
The first 820-devices will hit the market in Q1 2016, so it will most certainly have it too. The Z5 has 3GB of RAM, so it'll probably have 3GB, unless they bump it up to 4, but Sony has never been the OEM who throws a lot of RAM into their devices, like Samsung. So I'll say 3GB, but maybe 4.
The magnetic charger is gone from the Z3+, Z5 and Z5C (Z1, Z2, Z3 had it), so it looks like they're done with the magnetic connector, and it doesn't exist a single Sony product with Qi, or any other wireless charging, so I'd say that that's also a no-go.
But all we can do now is to speculate, so yeah, who knows.
yeah, I know wireless charging is unlikely. I can't understand why Sony didn't adopt it to replace the mag charge coupler. However, one problem with the mag coupler is that if you use a cable rather than a dock, you can attach it the wrong way round, which is down to stupidity plain and simple!

Yup, I managed to plug it in the wrong way into the dock ones and I almost screamed. Nothing was damaged though, but I know a couple of people around here haven't been that lucky. The most annoying thing with a regular USB cable is the plugging, especially when when there's a flap there too. Let's hope there is a Z Ultra 5, or something though. Would love to have it with a better camera and smaller bezels.
To clarify, I meant it's a stupid design, not stupid people doing it. I only connected mine once the other way accidentally for a split second and the phone instantly turned off, luckily not damaged.

Haha, yeah I got that. It's just too easy to connect it the wrong way, and once that happens.. well.. bad things might happen, well, bad thing WILL happen. I had the same experience as you. Connected it wrong for a split second, pulled it off and what I got was a blinking red LED above the screen, rebooted and it was all fine again. Crappy design? Very. But it's more annoying to open the USB flap and connect the charger every night, in my opinion.

Any info on front camera specs ?
We know that we've got a wide angle lens on the back on the phone...why not. Do we have one one the front lens ? it is the one that really needs one ! (yeah, i've short arms ), What about the aperture ?

The screen goes from 5.5 to 5.3 and the battery goes from 3000 mAh to 2800 mAh. (G4 compared to G5)

Well, It's a G5 mac with 2.3GHz processor, 512MB memory (consisting of 2 x 256 chips), 250GB hard drive and after that Yahoo has been unable to display the data as it can only display max 40 characters but the 16x would refer to the cd/dvd drive. It may be a combo drive or super drive, super drive being able to burn dvd's as well as cd's, combo drive can read and burn cd's but only read, not burn, dvd's. The other information likely cut off may refer to the OS installed - 10.4 is Tiger, 10.5 is Leopard.

Oh, strange, I may have jumped the gun but gsmarena states no fm radio and phone arena doesn't list it as á feature, but sure maybe too soon to state something like I did
2,800mAh battery? Is LG crazy? The G3 and G4 both had QHD IPS LCD screens with a 3,000mAh battery and both those phones had crappy battery life. The G5 keeps the QHD IPS LCD makes the backlight on all the time and DECREASES the size of the battery from 3,000mAh to 2,800mAh. I sure hope anyone that gets this phone doesn't mind the hassle of carrying several extra batteries everywhere they go. Personally, I can't stand it. I also hope that button mechanism on the bottom holds up well since the battery will have to be swapped a lot.
A phone with a QHD IPS LCD should have at least 3,500mAh. And with the always on back light it could use a few hundred more.

As for the design, I think people are blowing this out of proportion, I think once the product is in ones hands it would look like a finished product.
5.3 qhd screen means a nicer ppi which is like light years ahead from the retina display.
The questionable button placement could't been more strange since the power button is only on the back of the phone with volume buttons on the side...
Snapdragon 820... This thing is a beast, yea I know its competing against sammy but what would you rather have, personally I shy away from touch wiz just a bit since theres just things that make the phone act bonkers which is not efficient.
Battery Decrease better be worth the since its competing against the battery drain, but Marshmallow would help as well as quick charge 3.0, don't forget about that removable battery.
Overall this is a daring move by LG, this can make or put them towards the point where the are backed up since Huawei is just closing in to be a big player in the mobile industry. I like this, I don't like to see a phone that just looks about the same from last year, really who wants that. Sammy did great changing it up but I could see them pull off similar iterations of that design for a couple of more years.
i wonder if it still has a notification led.
I like the look of the phone, but a number of things really put me off. That curved lip on the screen will be a pain in the butt to find properly fitting tempered glass protectors for. And why did they move the vol keys? They were perfectly fine on the back. One less cut out in cases for dust to collect at and no edge to get caught in pockets when taking the phone out.
The always on screen seems like a bad idea too, but I'm hoping that can be turned off. 0.8% per hr extra is a lot. That's 6.4% per night, that's nearly as much as my normal batt burn on the G4 with data on and all that jazz..

My comment was mostly about the tiny battery that will result in crappy battery life. However the QHD screen (not sure what phd is. typo?) is way overkill. The average person can only see about 300ppi at normal phone viewing distance of about 12 inches anyways and on a 5.3" screen you can get pretty damn close to that with 720p and even better with 1080p. QHD is ridiculous and just wastes battery.
Does it have USB OTG capability? Can anyone confirm this? thanks

Since the G5's battery is removable but not the back, Is there space to even fit a extended battery? Would it look similar to the G5's camera module? Seems it would cost more compare to g3,g4, and V10.

Is anyone else worried LG will screw up the V series like they did the G series?

LG G 5 just went way left. That is one ugly phone. LG, on the next V, please just update the processor and keep the buttons just the way they are. Please!
I don't mind the G5 design personally, I think it's innovative and I'm glad there's a major smartphone company willing to take those risks. I do think it's unpolished, but I imagine their next attempt will look better as they refine their ideas. I do prefer the build on the V10, but if the V11 (or whatever it's called) went all-metal and retained the removable battery and microSD I'd be fine. My main concern is the overall cost increasing with features like the DAC/Amp being off-loaded to a separate module. I don't think they've announced module pricing for the G5, but the B&O branding makes me wary that they'll overprice it. That I don't want.

After watching both the g5, and s7 unveils this weekend, I may go back to Sammy for the note 7 if the V?? Goes to far that direction... Sammy bringing back expandable storage is huge, that was were they lost me, and I'm sure a ton of others... I love this phone, but we shall see, also interested to see what the next rendering of the moto x pure has to offer...
Zdeuce2 now with golden rays of sunshine
Yea they lost me at that too but also battery replacement is a big factor too. The only reason I switched to LG was because of the battery and memory.
The battery on the S 7s got bigger though...so maybe that will work for me. Gotta be a larger phone so the edge. I may just miss the HI-Fi DAC. So maybe just stay with the V 10 for now.
I'm waiting for the Note 6. Will keep my V10 as my backup/secondary phone.
I wasn't positive if the 200gb sdcard would work in other devices, but it does seem to work in my Galaxy Tab S, so maybe the Note 6 if it follows suit with the S7 return of the sdcard slot. But I may wait and see what LG does to lure us away from the Note 6..
I'm not feeling the G5 at all.. I really hope they don't do this to the next V whatever.. I've owned every G phone and now the first V, normally I would get the 5 and then probably trade for the second V... I'm gonna skip the 5 this time.. I just don't need all those extras.. Plus the design is kinda ugly to me.. The sofware is more of what I'm looking at here as it will definitely be on the second V model.. Also the damn rear volume keys are gone, for me I love the rear volume keys.
I hope they keep the rear buttons as is, and keep the dac/amp INTERNAL. I really don't want a swappable system like on the G5.
I would prefer a the home, back, and menu buttons be located somehow in that big black area on the bottom of the phone where the LG moniker is.
they also would make sure the latest processor is in the new device. No need to upgrade to 820, is the 830 is coming out two months later.
improve the bluetooth (mine sucks), improve the speaker output (bring it to the front somehow), and remove the side metal bars, that are only cosmetic and make the device a tad too wide.
The LG G5 took away way too much, much more than it gives back.
They take away:
Reduced screen size.
Removed option for Qi charging.
Removed the audio DAC that was so popular in the V10.
Removed the manual camera controls they added in the V10.
Reduced the battery size.
It gives back....
Metal. (except the chin)
Audio DAC (if you want to give them more money.)
Camera controls (if you want to give them more money.)
Bigger chin (even bigger if you add a module)

The G5 was never meant to succeed the V10. I could sort of understand why people compare the two, but they need to understand the G5 is succeeding the G4, which it most certainly improves upon.
LG didn't go for the G4 crowd with the V10. They went for a specific crowd. They went for the power users. The G series is mainly for the average consumer.
Compared to the G4, the G5 adds:
- Fingerprint reader
- Dual back cameras
- Better CPU/GPU/RAM
- Better build quality
- Option for DAC
- Modules
Sure, the screen is 0.2" smaller and the battery is of a slightly smaller capacity, but with more efficient hardware and Android M, it should be fine.
So, compared to the G4, it didn't really remove anything, and that's how this phone should be seen.
By the way, the G4 didn't have built in Qi wireless charging, did it? Didn't you have to add it yourself?

I will admit I was comparing the V10 to it, however to me this is not an upgrade from the G4 either.
The entire phone has changed, it is almost like its own new line of device.
I did add Qi to my G4, you dont even have the option on the G5.
I do not think the build quality is any better, plastic separable portion does not make me think quality, it makes me think point of failure.
Either way, I am going back to Samsung for this year, it has been 2 years now I was away and I am going to see how the new S7 and Edge are.
Maybe next year LG will have something that interests me again, I hope so.
I think it's funny people want to dump the V10 and go to Samsung just because the G5 changed.
V10 is a totally different phone marketed towards power users. Now if you are an average user than maybe the S7/Edge is perfect for you.
The question here is what if anything can they do to the next V series phone to improve upon things? If they half ass it like HTC did with the M9, releasing a followup just to do it......it will fail. I do hope they take it slow, and don't rush out V phones every year just because....the series needs to present itself to power users, with much more than just an upgraded SoC.
I honestly have no idea as of now what could be done to make the "V20" or whatever it will be, a true sincere sequel. Modular should be exclusive to the G series IMHO. Well see about that I guess.
People don't like change. That is their problem. And further more comparing oranges to grapes make no sense. V10 G5 Note 5. No no no. There is nothing wrong with the G5. But I love my V10. The only issue i have is I'm used the vivid colors on Samsung's super Amoled screens. The V10 doesn't show like that. The color temp is too cool but I've learned to adapt. But speaking of the G5 they did go wrong with the 32gb. Unless the 64gb is only for the V series. Now as for Samsung's S7 ghat is a super sexy phone. But its samsung and all its bloat and that stupid home button on front. They get rid of that and ill go back to them .
---------- Post added at 08:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:41 AM ----------
I think all that needs to be done is maybe dual speakers even if they stay on bottom. And address the screen color temp I assume they cant or wont switch to super amoled.
Everyone has their own opinion, personally I think LG went the wrong direction at nearly every possible turn... The g5 is a step backwards. It's a smaller screen, yet the overall size and weight didn't. Who the hell makes a flagship phone that doesn't come with flagship features unless you buy them separately? Plus to my knowledge they still haven't even announced a release date... The g5 and s7 had their previews the same day, and people already have the Galaxies in hand... Another thing, LG users have come to love the control buttons on the back, which is gone now. I guess will see how the next in the Vseries goes, but I may be going back to the note 6. I love my V10, and I'll be here till the note comes along...
