error while installing cm11
Whenever i try to install CM11 i get the following error:
Can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run factory rest E:error in /stoarage/sdcard1/cm-11_v370_ota-0.19.zip (Status 7)

When I have installed the 0.19 version I had a bootloop problem even after 2 try with the wipes. So I installed the 0.17 which work. But why can't we hit the cancel button of the sim's pin code's dialer. Another strange thing is that sometimes it is totally fluid, and sometimes terribly lagging.

Hi just wanted to report some bugs and if you can tell me some fixes or how I can help.
Microphone feedback on calls.
no ringtone sound on SIM2
SIM1 3g unstable sometimes it does not connect tries internet connection, have to go to airplane mode and back to get a new 3g connection.
Screen Freeze in some ocasions, have to remove batery for reboot.
On the other hand the batery life is AMAZING, applications speed and responce is much better then the original rom.
I really enjoy this rom a lot the biggest issue is really the mic and ringtone sound, the rest is very tolerable.

This rom sends to work smoothly although it has a bug that makes the os freeze and then after 10 secs, reboot.
Where can I find system logs, to see what's happening ?

Hello i'm installed this rom and don't works the calls when the handsfree is connected. The calls work but don't hear nothing and the people don't heart me. Without handsfree the calls works all perfect.

camera is not working
I installed latest version of this rom on my i9300... and when i try opening camera app then just black screen appears or sometimes app just starts normally but i cant change any option and the screen is also black... (no errors like "camera failed" )

i've just installed and test it, the score in antutu with official 4.3 was 23364 and with 4.4.4 was 23254, and the only thing that is not working is the camera, i've reeboted i've done everything in hope that the camera will work, but nothing, the ram usage with 4.3 and with 4.4.4 it is the same, tested 5 minutes ago, the only difference is that 4.4.4 it is more fluid, otherwise is the same...i do not recommend to update because is the same...

I got the issue - set_metadata_recursive some changes failed , when I tried to install the image from both CWM and TWRP.
It got resolved when I used PhilZTouch Recovery 6.27.4 for A116

3G data connection fails on Vodafone mumbai (Roaming)
I have 2 simcards, Idea- non roaming and vodafone - roaming, i have observed strange behaviour.
Vodafone 3g connects to Data while roaming using single sim and doesnt work with dual sim. vodafone 1st sim, idea 2nd sim
however idea 3g connects to data using dual sim and single sim mode Idea - 1st sim, vodafone 2nd sim

I am new to XDA forums, I am having an issue with my both SIM card on MMX A116, whenever I flash with any custom ROMs available on XDA for Micromax A116 device.
I tried all the steps given in the forum links like "replace IMEI from engineering mode" or flash using CM11 and TWRP or use that SETPROP command in terminal but no luck so far.
In my situation the Phone 1 and phone 2 details shows as unknown all the time and radio is always OFF even when SIM card is inserted. I did restore my old image which was taken before the flash and both SIMs are working fine.
Even tried MMX official 4.2 update using CM11 but that too has this same problem, Request some more help in this as I am very much eager to use KITKAT on my device

I have to do is now...first time user
1.download zip file.(rom)
2.save to sd card.
3.go to twrp recovery.
4.wipe factory reset.
5.wipe cache.
6.wipe dalvik.
8.install zip file from sd card

camera works very well but u cant record videos.....
Issues
The USSD codes do not work in the dialer. The phone Switches off randomly. Network connectivity is weak. Heavy resource using apps don't work. Using a theme causes UI to freeze in between. Can these issues be remedied?

I never thought i would see kitkat running on my S5312.
issues:
wifi hotspot shows as active but not detected when scanned from other devices.
usb thethering works but shows as limited connectivity. other than that no new issues.
i use wifi hotspot a lot. I googled it but cant find anything working.
Is there any patch for this? help me out.

downloaded rum whose date is the newest. According to the description fixed bluetooth and mtp. But the firmware found nothing fixed. Maybe I downloaded the wrong file?
Can you record audios on WhatsApp?
The bug section specified that the ROM can't record audio, but does that apply to WhatsApp audio message too (the one with the microphone icon)? I use that feature a lot, and it would be a shame to lose it.

Unzip the ROM's zip file and go to :
cmROMFileName\META-INF\com\google\android
and open the "updater-script" file using Notepad++.
Using Notepad++, delete the assert... line uptil the ";" before the "mount . . ." line...
Rezip the files and try installing the ROM.....it worked for me...
Having Problem Boot Up
I am having problem booting up the device after flash this firmware.
I flashed this firmware and wile the data and cache partition.
But when I boot the phone, it did not even enter the boot animation screen.
It just stuck at the screen where it shows the device model, and rebooted itself and goes into the CWM.
Been tried to reboot it a few times, still the same.
This was caused probably because u soft-bricked the device.....
Try rebooting in to recovery and flash firmware again...
If while rebooting into recovery, recovery is not opening, install CWM again.
(Flash CWM through Odin )....
After reinstalling CWM, flash the firmware again....

In android 5.0 there was some changes in libhardware,so patch from cm10.1 didn't work. I think some headers can found in libhardware_legacy/audio,but don't guarantee that will worked.

Contacts won't start
In your 4.4.4 Rom for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G when I start the Contacts "People" app it immediately stops and I get the message.
"Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped working....ok"
I can send you a log but I do not know how to do it...never done it yet...help!
I really like this ROM and have the latest version installed and it really works well so far...2 days now.
Better than CM10.2 so far...please don't stop working on this ROM.

I have just today noticed that the 3G is not working. It does not detect any networks so I cannot register on my network with my working sim.
Wifi does work but the 3G SIM version does not...so I'm not sure why there is a 3G version if it does not work.
Pity...I will have to restore my previous ROM...

3G works. You need to create settings APN. Then save from the menu located in the upper right corner.

Don't know if this helps. I have 2 of the p7510 tabs. On one, the owner is linked to my Gmail and contacts works fine. On the other, the owner is not linked, and people crashes every time. I have tried to link the owner with no luck, but believe this may be the cause of the crash.
Contacts application can work sometimes (depending on the GAPPS), but if you choose to import or export from the SIM card, then again receives "Unfortunately, Contacts has stopped working .... ok"
It seems that the kernel A1 has a problem with the SIM card.

I have problems with the bluetooth compilation which fails due to:

packages/apps/Bluetooth/jni/com_android_bluetooth_btservice_AdapterService.cpp:671:26: error: 'const struct bt_interface_t' has no member named 'ssrcleanup'
ssrcleanup is not defined in the typedef of /hardware/libhardware/include/hrdware/bluetooth.h, but it is in the external/bluetooth/bluedroid/btif/src/bluetooth.c file.
Does anyone knows how to circumvent this problem?

Hi, first off i just want to say thanks for taking the time to build this rom. I continue to try and breathe new life into my old galaxy tab 10.1 with each update.
However, I'm trying to download the links to the ROMs for CM11 found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098429
Which leads me here: http://d-h.st/Mb1 -- specifically the image I want.
Clicking either of those links downloads a virus. There is no zip. On Mac, it is .dmg file, and on windows an .exe. Even Chrome identifies them as Malware.
I've tried googling for the filename, but can not find any other links that weren't laden with viruses. Can you help me locate the image?

Why does mostly everyone experience little lag or no lag at all, but me and others have unbearable lag? Running the latest version on CM 11, reverted back to CM 10.2 (much smoother in my experience) Hope someone answers here..

Thanks to @Rammar515!, this great awesome rom, it's run almost perfectly on my lg but there is a little bug , i don't know wethere it's bug or i did'nt flash rom perfectly, when i open messaging there is error so it can open the message , other object run smoothly except the messaging, thanks anyway

Mam problem. Zainstalowałem sobie dzisiaj tego ROMa i co chwilę pojawia się komunikat "Niestety proces com.android.phone został zatrzymany", a jeżeli zablokuje telefon to po jakichś 2 lub 3 minutach wyskakuje Kernel Panic
Flash was easy, rom is very smoth, litle bugs in messenger app, thank for your work and i hope that u will continue, i love this rom!!! Thank you!

Review after 1day usage
1. with one day of my testing ive found it to be laggy..
2. apps crash frequently due to memory management i guess even after disabling notifications on lockscreen ..
3. Few apps on playstore show a message that ur phone is incompatible ,well fot that ive used other app markets like mobgenie..
4. There is no option to control backlight in rom ,ive installed l9 backlightmod by artas from playstore to swichoff softkey backlight..
5. Battery life seems to be ok...
6. Inbuild flashlight doesnt work but using third party app solves the problem..
7. Dialer app seems to be so laggy, its takes ages for call screen to appear after presssing dial(green button)..
8. Signal vanishes very frequently even in full coverage area might be some ril related issue..
9. No on screen buttons option ,hopefully complete Resurction menu will appear as it is still in beta..

You can use TWRP by Artas. THe Rom is really good and stable, I am using it with no problem.
disable F2FS in artas182x recovery ?
For installing this ROM via artas182x TWRP recovery should i disable F2FS ? And resurrection remix rom update via ota or manual update?

U can install apps but not from play store. Download it do your SD card and install through File Manager.
