Enjoy !
It wipes all, as all factory images.

Is there a great way to back it up to be reloaded after the flash ?
With USB and Windows, I seem to loose data all the time.

The link works if you use incognito mode

yeahhhhh... we waiting your flashable zip...
(will be pre-rooted, right?)

Backed up my sdcard and all data to the computer, ready to flash!

Waiting for a flashable CWM zip file also perhaps rooted would be nice. Backing all up now and waiting...

Found this on another forum;
Edit: people are saying there are problems with play services on that, might want to wait.

it has to be ported as well,
the miui language packs are also device based, they have the n7100 listed on miuiandroid (note 2 t03g), but for the 7105 they haven't gotten a release, instead we are dependant off ports made by wonderfull users like jing
flashing a language pack from a different device will mess up the miui installation so unless jing decides to port the language pack your stuck with the default languages

I replaced both install and binary scripts with T Mobile Note 2 MIUI ones and I was able to flash it to Note without any issue. I also replaced the kernel with T Mobile. The only issue I see is both internal and external SD cards recognized by the PC when I connect through USB cable but I do not see any internal or external folders data.

you dont request to get cm support, someone takes the cwm tree and works on it until it fully works with cm. as for teh forum you need t o go to the new devices poll thread and request one and have all the people vote for one. they only make forums for devices that get enough votes.

Well the way the op recommends it is:
1 - Copy recovery.img to root of SDCard
2 - Open Terminal Emulator (or adb shell) with root and run the following command-
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery
3 - Reboot
But I don't know if that would work in all cases/haven't tried, the other way to flash it is by getting into fastboot mode via adb or something and using following commands:
-fastboot erase recovery
-fastboot flash recovery recovery.omg

I needed to update too, similar thought process. Wondering whether i can flash this *.img using Flashify. I also made a backup of my stock recovery.img before I installed TWRP, could that be used either?
And most importantly, was the OTA update smooth after you got stock recovery back?
Worst case scenario, no TWRP recovery & unable to boot...

[ROM+EXTRAS] Stock i8190XXANC2 Rooted | Deodexed | Zipaligned | Debloated | Init.d

Here is the latest ANC2 ROM, modem and kernel for our i8190 devices. Don't try to install it any other variation of the SIII mini! Just download and install via recovery. If you don't have network once booted after flashing modem, just reboot and it will be OK.
ROM
This is the stock ANC2 ROM with some changes:
Rooted with Chainfire's SuperSU
Pre-installed busybox for apps
All apps deodexed for flexibility
All apps zipaligned for performance
The ROM was debloated of some unnecessary apps. You can download any of this apps using my repository.
ArchiDroid independent init.d support. This means init.d is embedded in the ROM and not the kernel, so it will work in whichever kernel you use
The zip file contains the ANC2, so you don't need to flash it separately. The installer will automatically wipe system/cache/dalvik partitions. If you are coming from a non-stock ROM, please wipe data yourself using your recovery. This ROM should be flashed using 2.7.0.0+ TWRP from NovaFusion. It may work with CWM but I do not guarantee it.
If you want to update your baseband along with the ROM, flash the modem from this thread.

Yes, I figured it wouldn't work with older recoveries... I was going to make it compatible with them but I was lazy and I also believe I'm doing a good job making people update their recoveries since the older ones do not work with all KK ROMs and may cause some issues... So TWRP all the way.
Thank you

Well, maybe placebo maybe not, but your baseband works better on CM11 than juliàcarax one (& it's the same xxanc2), so thanks Joel, from now on I only flash your basebands:laugh::good:

Thanks but is ANC2 compatible?
Boot sound?
Very nice, bro!
Just a request: remove the boot sound!!!
I did it manually, though... easy enough.

TWRP RECOVERY Built from latest 7.1 source

This recovery is built from latest twrp source 7.1. should work on every version of R1HD phone.
this twrp adds ability to reverse navbar layout.
install TWR app
and so on.
after install I recommend
Settings > Restore Defaults.
Then setup recovery how you want.
I haven't installed the TWRP app as it doesn't contain anything for our device, but it is a feature added in the 7.1 source, perhaps our device will be added some day.
I do use the Reversed Navbar layout though.

@vampirefo maybe you could take a crack at the camera not working, I've been trying everything from the init.mt6735.rc , init.project.rc to switching libs and nothing works.

Unlikely, I could fix it, most likely source needs to be compiled using R1HD camera files.

theres a bug in your twrp......from twrp reboot-recovery....it does not reboot to recovery, it reboots the system instead.

Just tried it 10 times reboots to recovery Everytime.
Must be the boot.img you are using, not correct settings, forcing bootloader to select system instead of recovery.

Probably needs to be repacked correctly, So bootloader understands it correctly, has nothing to due with recovery.
Recovery send command to bootloader, then bootloader decides what to do.
If everything is OK, bootloader sends reboot to recovery if not sends to system.

Have you tried to reboot to recovery using my Lineaga OS ROM? I just tried reboots to recovery as it should, boot.img is packed correctly.
