[Request] Ethernet Support from Note 10.1 pro, wirh the Adapter ( Usb, Ethernet)... - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) Themes and Apps

Hi People......i search a long time for an adapter, that can charge and use Usb on the Note 10.1 2014 (p600) at the same time.....no docking station do this, and all other adapters don't, cause the pins are channeled otherwise than on other devices......don't know why....but the adpater from Note Pro 10.1 with ethernet does.....but if i connect an ethernet Cable to it, nothing happens, cause (i think), Android has no Protocol to give a dhcp Adress to an ethernet device, and set the wifi Adapter off....
l found a tool for Nok 3, but I'm not sure, that will work on a P600. But on a mobile , it will not be needed as on a tablet ...
Anyone got an Idea to convert the ethernet drivers from Note Pro to the P600 kitKat ?
Sony for my ugly English

If you're rooted, this app should work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xda.usbhost.test
I've never tried it with the Samsung branded ethernet adapter from the PRO series tablets, but I've used it in combination with an OTG cable and a generic USB to ethernet adapter, so it should work.

Thx a lot man......by the way, this is the same app, i wrote in the OP, i read about in the Note 3 Forum......i try and report

Result. ...is really strange.......the app accept the adapter, and get an ip adress...... ( it's a network Connection, coming from a router)....status gets to enabled, but i get no Internet Connection. ...strange.....i guess, Wifi have to be off. I also try to set the ip adress manually, also Router and Subnet Mask, but the same result, if i open a browser, no connection to the internet. Super SU Version is 2.02 .....any ideas?

[Q] Is there a way to change network adapter speed and duplex on android?

Hello, i have one old aliuminium ethernet cable, when i connect laptop and router using this cable I have to change network adapter speed to 10mbps full duplex. When it's on auto (or any other setting) i get "cable unpluged" message. But I want to connect router with android tv box (geniatech m1 atv1000), but magic doen't happen. Actualy it's not quite a router it's a cheap chineese wifi repeater , and it doesn't have allmost any settings, so i'm wondering is there a way to change androids network adapter speed and duplex?
I cannot change the cable, because it's betonated inside of the wall..

[Q] [Tasker] Ethernet Control

Hi, I have a MK808 which I have connected to a usb to ethernet converter. I boot directly into XBMC, but the ethernet connection can be a little flakey. Sometimes on boot it connects to the ethernet fine but other times it doesn't and I need to go into setting and switch the ethernet off and back on and that works.
My idea is to have tasker switch the ethernet off and on just after booting so that I can be assured it would work every time, but I can't see any ethernet option in tasker does anyone know a way of doing this.
Thanks

[Q] How to reverse tether with 3G Modem

Huawei E3131 modem is working as a router which has an IP address 192.168.1.1 and as the DHCP server, it gives an IP automatically to the PC and connects to 3G internet without installing any drivers or any software.
How to use this 3G modem on an Android tablet or phone?
Depending on the android version of your devices, i'm pretty sure this 3g adapter should work properly with an OTG cable.
I own a Samsung galaxy s plus. With the stock android which was 2.3.5 i think i couldn't do much if anything with an OTG cable.
When i installed a modded 4.2 rom everything worked smooth. I tried a mouse, keyboard and a cheap cheap Joypad. Worked as a charm.
Any android ICS and above can do miracles with those cables!
There is a video in the xda developers youtube channel about on-the-go cables. look it up
Yeah I know about the OTG cables since I already resell them. But it didn't work with the mentioned modem and an Android tablet which has 4.0.4 version on it.
This 3G modem is a lot different from others; because nearly all of the 3G USB stick modems require a USB interface driver to be managed through. But this stick acts like a router; thus it has its own IP (192.168.1.1) and as soon as its plugged into a USB port, it assigns an IP to the computer (192.168.1.2) and connects to 3G in a matter of seconds; no driver needed, no software installed. It's like connecting an ethernet cable to PC.
That's why I also tried configuring USB-ethernet on the tablet, but it didn't work either.

USB Ethernet confirmed working

Just received my Nexus Player today, and I can confirm that there is some level of driver/hardware support for USB Ethernet adapters over OTG. Hardware-wise, I have an OTG cable attached to a D-Link USB 2.0 hub, and a Cisco 10/100 USB Ethernet adapter attached to the hub.
Some notes about the behavior:
The IP address configuration happens automatically if you're using DHCP on your network, but there are no options in the initial configuration to enter static IP addressing. If you're unboxing and setting up your Player for the first time, just make sure to have your USB Ethernet adapter plugged in before plugging in power.
Aside from lacking configuration options, everything appears to work flawlessly, and the Player automatically downloaded an update from Google on first boot.
Hope this helps.
Good to know... thanks!
I bet you can figure out the MAC address, and assign an IP address through the router. It's better that way anyway.

Wondering if a USB 3.0 hub with gigabit Ethernet will work on Nexus player.
The specs of Nexus player is USB 2.0, by connecting a USB 3.0 hub with gigabit Ethernet, will it work by capping at 480mb/s USB 2.0 transfer rate?
I doubt you would get the full 480mbps but you should be able to do better than 100mbps.

i dont think it would make a difference, besides 10/100 is way enough to stream even 4k media

Galaxy S7 Edge problem with USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter

Hi guys,
i hope some of you can help me.
I want to connect an OBDII cable to my phone. Its a ENET Cable, so I need an OTG/Ethernet Adapter. I have ordered the Rankie USB 3.0 Netzwerkadapter in black. I cant post links, but if you put this in the search in amazon its the first.
But the S7 Edge doesnt support ethernet, or? I cant find ethernet settings. So I flashed the kali nethunter kernel and opened the terminal emulator. With lsusb my ethernet adapter doesnt appear. Can someone help me? I think if the ethernet adapter appear, I can connect it to my car.
edit: Now I used an other third otg micro-usb to usb adapter and now my ethernet adapter appears, its a RTL8153 from Realtek. But how can I use it? I have no ethernet settings.
thanks in advance
Does nobody know an ethernet app or the shell command to get the ethernet working?
Ok, I dont think that here aren't users who know a solution. What I have done yet:
I got the adapter working, but only in terminal emulator. When I type lsusb it recognizes my adapter. Its a realtek RTL8153.
Then I connect my network cable and type: dhclient eth0
for test: ping -n 3 <address>
I get answers, e.g. from google. So the connection built up. But when I go to the browser or google play, it says no connection? I think, the phone and apps depends on 4G or wlan0. How can I force eth0? I need the decisive command.
For the static ip I would use: ifconfig eth0 <ip> netmask 255.255.255.0 gw <gw_ip>
