Hello all,
I have made a port of the MIUI from the Samsung captivate for the player 4.2.It is based on Androthan's cm7 and should be working.It should be functional but as I don't own the device player 4.2 users will have to test it and give me feedback.

How to install
Boot into recovery by pressing power,vol up and the home button at the same time
Follow the procedures needed to intall cm7
select install zip(or something similar)
Navigate to rom(by using vol buttons)
Flash the rom
Enjoy

nah, because idk how to do a logcat. i doubt this rom would ever work because the captivate has a different cpu architecture we us omap 3 but the captivate uses hummingbird but if u want to try something you can try to port cm 11 from the galaxy player 3.6 github sources for 3.6https://github.com/androthan?tab=repositories (official dev @Androthan) he also has a ready built kernel source (just needs compiling) for booting 4.4.X for the 4.2.

I have uploaded a new build, please see if it's working as for porting cm11, I don't think I've got the skills needed to do so plus I don't have linux on my pc and am not willing to.
Can anyone confirm if the new build's working now?

It seems that the error for the first one is just a problem in the updater script, after getting the error, can you please go to advanced and then select show log and take a photo or something. If I get this to install, it will probably boot, can you try using the meta-inf of the "other ported rom" in the galaxy sl one (delete the old meta-inf folder in the galaxy sl one and replace with the "other ported rom's" one)

Thank you for the pic, did you try deleting the meta-inf in the galaxy sl port and replacing it with the meta-inf from the other build, since that one installed successfully, it should mean that the updater script works.

the updater script does work it just fails to boot

My Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T530) (matissewifi) doesnt boot after I flashed my own-built CM11 ROM. My tablet can't reach CyanogenMod bootlogo, it starts with Galaxy Tab 4 logo, it looks like it will boot for a milisecond (a blue screen appears for a milisecond) but then the tablet restarts and the Galaxy tab 4 logo appears again, then it repeats so. But why?

Yes. If flash, but no boot. Bad compile. Verify java version. Sync repo. Mek new brunch bacon.
I compiled rom by myself. Note that I couldnt flash my rom before editing updater-script in the zip manually. I removed "format" command in the script and used some other command instead (I forgot new command). Because TWRP gave me "script aborted: no error message" error and I edited updater-script. I figured out this error is because of the format command. Also when I go home I will share my updater-script and other information. Thanks.
Ok, I understand there's nothing to do with updater-script file. I recompiled the ROM with a different kernel and now it doesn't boot but now it no longer restarts. It gets stuck at "Galaxy Tab 4 10.1" boot screen. It doesn't pass to Cyanogenmod bootlogo.

This ROM is based on CM source, it's just, this ROM adds more features from other ROMs (e.g., SlimROM/AOKP) for more info, please do read the Official Post.

Finally fixed with Odin.
I Will try to install the ROM with PhilZ Recovery because the CYAOGEN is not good!
After flashing 5.26 over 5.25 I "lost" gapps, had to flash again gapps. Thanks for your work.

Xposed not working on Android 5.0 yet! Also if someone wants to change DPI just open system folder / build.prop found ro.sf.lcd_density=240 and change whatever you want manually. And omni switch apk work like a sharm on this ROM! Home button fixed on the latest build.
And as for the volume, try looking at settings > resurrection remix tools > buttons > disable volume key wake device

For you to have a stable ROM i recommend to wipe data / clean flash.

As of now, there is no way to add setting on power menu. Just hang on and it'll be implemented.

Yes it is new, CWM is dead. CM recovery is the new recovery.

Your answer was yes! Are you testing your build before upload the link? Yesterday I flashed after your answer and really recovery not working! I have now problem, big problem because my laptop isn't available for me! Please don't answer if you not sure what do you mean!!!

CM recovery is still in WIP, IMO. All development regarding the CM recovery depends on the Cyanogen team.

DU_ls990_5.0.2_20150209-0247.v9.1-UNOFFICAL liks are .exe files download them and nothing happened.
Is there any other host drive for this files?

Make sure you aren't clicking the "download now" button and just click the green "download" button. Also make sure to uncheck the Download manager at the bottom of the download buttons

can you make the gsm unlock on zv4/8 plz, because only your rom can unlock my sim card
so i flashed this rom, and have cycled through every gsm apn, and i cannot seem to receive data. I get a signal, just i dont get data. Any help?

Thank you, thank you , Thank you!! I know there's a button but I'm just so happy a donation will be heading ur way on payday! I bought a steel blue lg g3 from craigslist unknowingly what carrier it was paid the $250 for it only to get home and see a sprint boot logo and was devastated. Google reffered me to unlocking sites, are those trustworthy? I managed to install stump and recovery twrp daily easy. Your ROM saved my phone in a cm12 package, THANKS. No LTE but h+ on T-Mobile isn't too bad here in Chicago. Love it, love it love it. Would love a stock lollipop gsm unlock port but that's not something I'm trying to push on you. You have done a lot for me and its very well appreciated.

You'll have to find the correct APN and add it manually. Once you do you can sent me the settings and I'll will add them

DU isn't cm based 1st off
unicorn ROM not working for LG G3 for Sprint LS990, Stuck
After flashing unicorn DU_ls990_5.0.2_20150307-0123.v9.1-UNOFFICIAL, all google plays are not working. Tried to flash back to stock ROM, failed all the time. So Now I am stuck at this Unicorn, which pop up error messages regarding google apps all the time.
Installed quick boot to try to boot into TWRP but it did do anything. TWRP sees to work fine in background.
any way to fix it?

You need to flash the updated gaaps and you should always have a back up I just open the thread back open but it'll be a week or so before I'm developing again for this

How to install: (not for the i8190 model)
Make sure you are using SuperSU not kingroot.
install safestrap from here
Install rom (I would recommend installing it on a secondary rom slot)
Install gapps
Enjoy rom
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix the bugs pls tell me

Sure but may not be on lollipop and will probably will be on kitkat. It will take me a couple of days to build.

First attemp: Flash failed

as You said no boot animation totally black screen for boot.
Succesffuly Boot Tecent OS some apps are crashing like Messenger
After I reboot
The screen start to light up faint green like on the tv then no longer boot to Os

Im uploading a new version now this one should flash better, there might be a boot animation, and messenger should stop crashing. If there is any more apps crashing tell me and please send screenshots of any other problems so that it's easier to debug.

So far I don't know what bugs are in the i8190 version because I have the g730a model of the s3 mini. So until someone tests this build of the ROM I don't know what bugs there is.

Back button doesn't work in stuck in application like when I click File manager I cant no longer go to other apps because back function is working But my hardware phone is working fine no problem
After Screen time out occur cant no longer accessible the phone but I hear the volume increase and decrease when I click the volume +-
Cant access the Home Black screen
Same problem Flicker screen green when boot up occur
But messenger is Working now
