I got my new arya z2 from Amazon yesterday....
It runs on Kitkat 4.4.2....I think it's boot loader is locked..
I thought towelroot would work but it didnt root my phone...
How will I root this phone.... It's Chinese made.. . With MTK6582 processor...
How will I flash cwm in this phone?

The device was rooted by me way back.
Download the files from the link below and follow the mentioned procedure.

1. Download and install drivers from the download files

9. Reboot, Done.

Thanks a lot for the post. Got the rooting done for my Salora- Arya Z2. This post was the only place to help in this case. A Request : pls suggest me to upgrade or install a new ROM in the device coz of divided partition in phone memory and I n trying to use a trading software which is not installing in the phone whereas have used it in my frenz moto g2 lollipop version. Pls advice or guide
I m just a beginner for rooting n all other tweaks...

I tried 3 versions of rom, the phone turns on when the Android logo, turns off after 20 seconds, I have to do?
Did you install the cwm recovery..?
Or did you used the flashtool..?
If you flashed it with recovery u have to do a full wipe...(clean install)
Wipe - date and cache+dalvik and do a factory reset all in CWM recovery
Than flash you' re rom (pre rooted one)
Reboot....

hello, I installed with flashtool.
I'm no expert.
you can pass a driving, what should I do?
Ok..
First open Flashtool,
Select in options
- force highspeed
- flash with battery mode
Ok now you can load you scatter
(Its somewhere on the middel right of flash tool.
If you have done all of that you can press f9 or press downloadmode.
Take out you're phones battery and connect your phone to the usb.
put in you're battery and wait for it to
Finish... (You'll see an green cirkel with download finisht download (100%)
Now you can safely disconnect you're phone and power it on...
First boot could take a long time to finish... (Sometimes over 5 min.)
If it didn't work maby you could post a photo's of the back (without battery cover)
And maby some of the front for reverence...

I solved last problem I miss the camera ...
Ok now we know what Brand and model you're phone is...
Problem 1 solved...
Download a other rom for that phone,
Best is to download the stock rom (rooted) and flash that one.
most of the time the stock one has everything working...
Hope this will solve youre last problem...

I have same phone as pictured in one of the above post.
I think it is bluebo b9500.
but I had tried some roms and I have problems with upside lcd or upside-down digitizer responses.
my phone has 960x540 lcd and 512mb ram with mtk6589. 12 and 2mp cameras.

thanks bro you are very helpful i did as you described and everything is ok now, but i'm missing the clone S4 Samsung logo on startup and the startup and shutdown sound is not like an S4 Clone
do you know where i can get the customization for startup logo, shutdown logo and the sounds also, i wonder where can i get the exact rom for this S4 Clone, instead of the BlueBo version, i think we have to read it from a fresh new phones?

i root my coolpad 7268 spice mi496 by baidu root.apk
then i install chain fire 3d when i reboot device after installing driver it got software damage and not starting now only spice logo is apearing.
so i want to flash it now with latest v9 firmware
i don't know how to flash pleaze tell me method and software reqife for it
dont worry bro every thing will b ok... frst you have to download some software... 1) ygdp tool. 2) chinese recovery 3) firmware version 9. 4) drivers of your phone (install this) after downloading all these files you have to switch off your phone. after that install ygdp tool and change the date to 1st august 2013 of your system. now you have to click on chinese button to switch to english. this tool will ask a password enter 9527. now take switched off phone and press volume up button and connect to pc via cable. you will see phone will switch to download mode. now in config select 7268 and browse for the cpb file which you will get by extracting recovery.zip. now press ok. it will verify and will say verified. now press start button. after few second it will say 100%. now paste firmware version 9 to your memory card now press both volume keys and power button together. you will see chinese recovery menu. go to second option sd sumthing browse to that zip and install.

Hey bro srkRohan! i m happy as my post helped you. bro there is no option to change the language of baiduroot. but there are others options to get rooted. you have to download these files from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532192

3)Flashing tool
4)Drivers for ADB & USB tethering - Windows 8.1 x86/x64 compatible
flash chinese recovery(recovery.zip)
and after that install SuperSU.zip in recovery mode. to open recovery mode press both volume keys and power button for 10-15 mins. you will see a chinese recovery GUI. go to second option saying SD something. and browse for SuperSu.zip which you have downloaded and kept in external sd card. now you have unlocked a new world. your phone is rooted with english Chainfire superuser. also you can install latest firmware of version 9. and also other roms.

I'm just trying to pull all the systems, and building a rom with android kitchen.
Im trying to get a fully deodexd rom with kernel to flash and one without kernel to flash so it updates everything and i cannot get either to boot i use android kitchen also

4.4.2 is fake..
if you want try change like 4.4.2
1. open root explorer
2. go to system
3. find file "build.prop" (open as text editor in root explorer)
4. find this line "ro.build.version.release=4.2.2" and then change 4.2.2 to what do you want
5. done -> save and exit
6. remove file "build.prop.bak"
7. reboot

I haven't updated yet.. but.. I hv a question th.t.. there were some games.. which r not supported by android jellybean because they required minimum android of kit kat.. so will they work after the updare of android????

Pre Requisites – very important if you are a noob !:
Lenovo P780 4GB or 8 GB version. works for both.
Phone needs to be updated to S_124_ROW firmware. The update to Kit Kat will never succeed if you are any thing below S_124_ROW firmware. Check your phone settings and search for update manually if you still haven’t received it. I got OTA updated.
At least 25% battery charge. You don’t want a brick then ensure you have at least 25% charge on the battery before you start flashing.
External Memory Card. The internal memory will be wiped off. Talking of wipe please backup all your data on the internal phone storage as this will be washed away.

What is good about this :
So far everything works fine. LED works for missed calls and SMS
Battery Life is amazing. It took me 2 full days to drain from 100% to 10% with moderate usage. Always connected to Wifi.
Felt a little lag in UI if using stock vibe UI, changed to Nova launcher for butter smooth operations
All Sensors work. Magnetic sensor too.
What is bad about this :
You tube playback. Sometimes the video and audio is out of sync. However if you play it via browser every things cool.

Got updated to S221_ROW - Here is my observation after using it for 2 full days. -
1. After switching the run time to ART, Phone is much smoother to operate.
2. Battery Back up seems to have increased marginally.
3. Huge improvement in camera section. Macro shots are really awesome.
4. Over all there seems to be a lot of improvement in responsiveness.
5. Higher frame rates in games.
6. In short a great package. Must do it now !!
Got updated to S222_ROW - Here is my first observation after using it for two days (21-Aug-2014) -
1. You tube audio sync issues finally seem to be resolved. Yeiahhhhhhhhhhhh !!
2. Excellent memory optimization. Free available RAM moves up to 500MB
3. Batter endurance good enough.
4. ART run time further improved.
5. Rooting is a hard but this time. You need to use older version of SP flash tools with self made scatter file from MTK droid tool.
6. Removed Lenovo camera. Crap software with lot of footprint here and there. Instead using Camera HD ultra from playstore. great camera package with minimal features and memory footprints.
7. Over all an excellent update package. Recommended for all. :good::good:
Got updated to S223_ROW - What's New and improved (9-September-2014) -
1. User 0 thing in the notification bar is gone.
2. More responsive.
3. Battery endurance just about same.
4. If you find your phone lagging or slow to launch frequently used apps, i suggest go to power manager and disable smart endurance. Doesn't make a lot of difference to Battery backup but does make the phone significantly faster to launch frequent apps.
5. Rooting done via scatter file loaded from S222_ROW and latest version of SP flash tools. Compatible version is TWRP 2.7.1.1
6. I already have removed all the bloatware from phone including Lenovo Camera. Using Nexus Gallery and Camera HD ultra.

Got updated to S226_ROW - What's New and improved (26-September-2014) -
1. UI is now based on Vibe UI 2.0 which is lenovo's answer to MIUI.
2. Although the UI is based in Vibe there is no visual change in how the phone interface looks like.
3. Major improvement in Camera section. Camera can now lock focus even in pitch black darkness.
4. Smoother UI with almost zero lags under normal operation. You might find a little lag while browsing system properties and running apps.
5. Rooting done via scatter file loaded from S226_ROW and latest version of SP flash tools. Compatible version is TWRP 2.7.1.1
6. Battery endurance increased. Make sure you calibrate battery using the built in power manager.
7. You Tube works fine.
8. Also please go to Google Settings and opt out of advertisement section, this will free up a lot of RAM.
9. With all basic apps installed and phone in ready to use condition, i have around 450MB of free RAM. Check the screenshot

it has nothing to do with the country in fact asia and india are very very important for many of the manufacturers i got my off kitkat for note 10.1 few days after europe got it AND an advise kindly dont talk of such thing about country and all it is not apreciated at XDA

It is not the Indian version. India is yet to receive any update. But this works perfectly on Lenovo p780 bought in India. Go ahead and flash it. It's safe. Just make sure your phone is on s_124_row

I suggest you reflash s_119_row via so flash tool. Then check for Ota updates and update to s_123 then again check for Ota updated and update to s_124. Once that's done you simply need to copy the downloaded kitkat update to root of SD card and reboot the phone to recovery. It will update automatically. Let us know how it works.

I'm in the UK and the OTA update has appeared P780_ROW_S220_140722 (722MB) for my stock S124 ROM. Not pulled the trigger yet but I don't understand why you people don't just update OTA instead of downloading.
i am unable to boot into recovery. recovery flash was ok. but when i try to boot into it, it says invalid command. Any other way to toot this device?

the kitkat ota has come u dont need to go in to recovery go in to ur setting then about phone and click on the phone update tab u will get the update download it and it will get installed and enjoy kitkat i got it yesterday and now im on kitkat 4.4.2 :laugh::good::laugh:

Switch off the phone. Open up SP tools. Load the scatter file and then uncheck everything except recovery. Click download then connect your phone to PC. Once the green circle appears disconnect. Now hold the power plus vol up and vol down button together.

So what's the verdict on Kit Kat guys? All good? Everything working fine? Is the LED finally fixed so it works for WhatsApp and Email? The Russian forums say there is an issue with the camera and a fix is expected in the next week or two.
Please post what you think is good and bad about the new update. What about new software? Battery life better than/as good as/worse than 4.2?

How about the cam? anyone know how to fix it? It says cannot access cam. And rooting is a bust that's for sure.
I am rooted. I think sometimes it fails to write recovery.
I didn't like the update. Slx was better.
Apps like hike n some other messengers don't run in background. And become offline. This applies to other apps also which i want continuous running like smart cover.
Dialer shows very small pic of the caller. Security app is worst I have ever used AVG is much better.
Just update with this rom last night..so far everything is ok... I got the old problem.. Sms/whatsapp doest show contact.. Just showing number.. Doest have this problem when im using miui rom..anyone know how to fix this?

First your phone must be rooted
To install TWRP Recovery follow my steps:
1. Download Mobileuncle MTK Tool
2. Now download TWRP recovery (recovery_A526_031_TWRP2500.img)
3. Copy the downloaded TWRP recovery img to sd card
4. Install Mobileuncle MTK Tool and open it, go to the Recovery Update , and choose (recovery_A526_031_TWRP2500.img) and then click on 'OK'
5. click ok for reboot your phone in TWRP Recovery
6. Its done :good::good::good:
Flash your phone Using TWRP:
After downloading Android L
*Download Rom, put on your sdcard
*Go to [CWM/TWRP/OR ANY CUSTOM RECOVERY]
Installation Procedure - *On the Recovery
wipe data
wipe cache
install zip

Not jus it lets u install apps on sd card but u can even play heavy games. Games with data files more than 1.gb or even more than 2.gb. haha.

OK the problem is that your IMEI Information has been Removed
Just check it in the Setting-->About phone-->Status-->IMEI information
If its removed ,then you have to install Stock Rom

Thanks for this rom! But when I try to install AcDisplay, it says that my device is incompatible and I believe that AcDisplay is for devices 4.3 and above. I've installed the Android L rom btw.
