no, they are one-piece wall chargers.
and with time milliamperes decrease to 300 ma with all the chargers

If there are 3 cables, there only rests the socket of your phone or (unlikely) its charging-control. Otherwise: try another cable.

They are without cable.. Samsung travel adapter without usb..
You think the problem is with charger ?

Sorry, I didn't understand. No, it's very unlikely that 3 loaders fail. I supppose it's the socket of your phone or the internal hardware. So let it repair.

SGP 50 is not charging from AA chargers

Hi
I can not charge my Galaxy Player 5.0 from mobile chargers using AA batteries.
Tried several chargers, only one 2AA cheap "noname" is working.
Ayone have the same problem ?
Any ideas ?

You need to look at the output amp rating of these chargers. Chances are the output rating is too low to charge the player. These players came with .75mA chargers and the one you are using is probably kicking out too little of the "juice". Even if it registers, I bet it will take for EVER to even go 5% charged... You need a better charger.

Nope.
Is not charging at all.
SGP 5.0 AC charger is rated .7 A but it can be charged from computer USB ( 5V .5A)
I can get the battery icon to blink with thunder, but is not charging.
Tekkeon is rated 1A and is not charging.
Soshine is rated .4 A and is charging my old LG phone, 0.75A.But not the SGP.
Noname charger from DX, rated .5 A is charging SGP with no problem.
Problem with electronics ?
Anyone ?

Batteries in the charger maybe not powerful enough, just because your LG phones charger has the same output as the SGP charger does not mean they have the same minimum power requirement to charge. remember 2 AA batteries is only 3 Volts and so the charger has a transformer (not the optimus prime kind, lol) that ramps the volt up, the problem is when ramping up voltage your dropping amperage and without knowing the amperage of the double A's your using is impossible to do the math to see if that would give you the min output to charge your SGP.
It's also worth mentioning that those AA chargers are meant to be an EMERGENCY BACKUP and you should NOT use them to regularly charge your devices battery as this method of "charging" and I use that word lightly is very unhealthy for your players battery.

Faster Charging 2amp Touchpad Charger for $4.99

I noticed a lot of people want a fast charger for the Note. This charger is for the Touchpad. I have this and it works really well. It charges faster than the OEM charger that came with the Note.
Not to mention, it is on sale right now for less than $5. Go grab one. From past experience, I used this at 15% battery life and charged for an hour and I was back over to 80%.:victory:

Is the usb cable that comes with it the same as the note takes?they don't show a pic of the other end and is it a charge only cable? If yes and yes I'm a gonna get one. Thanks

Yes, it is a micro USB cable. One end is USB and other is micro USB. The cable length is longer than most phone cables. I haven't measured it, but from my plug to my desk, I still have excess cable compared to the original one from the phone.
Thank you, getting one!
This have been discussed hundreds time before....
That 1amp is the output of the charger which forwards the current to kernel of the device... NOTE can only intake 1 amp current... ( remove your battery and read the dam sticker :thumbup
Even though you will supply 2 3 4 5 amp... The maximum in would be 1 amp ONLY...
SECONDLY, micro usb cables have a restriction of carrying current... They cannot pass more than 1 amp current successfully... Therefore galaxy tab series does not come with micro usb slots....
Lastly my recommendation would be NOT to waste money on any other chargers...

It has been discussed, but it DOES charge faster than a conventional 1amp charger. If you don't have the charger and have nothing to compare with, then I don't think you can say it does not work.
Go check FCC about the charge. Also, the cables provided DOES carry a 2amp charge. Our note can handle fast charging but throttles down to a slower charging rate after 80%.
having a micro usb slot or not have a micro usb slot has nothing to do with the current it can handle.
Ipads and Iphones have the same connector but yet one has a 1amp charger and the other a 2amp charger.

You don't have to get your panties in a twist. Rather than just read forums and assume the worst of everything try it for yourself. I've tried both and it is faster. Just trying to help my fellow Note users to get the best out of their phones.
btw, what are you screaming about pull out the battery and read? you tell me what you want us to know. RATED: 3.7V; 1500mA... WOW ok that proves your point...sigh:silly:

As an HP TouchPad owner, I can confirm that the cable provided with the charger are 'special'. My TP will not charge with any other MicroUSB cable connected to the official charger, the same cables which won't charge the TP will charge the Note. (I also own the HP touchstone dock, which the TP spends most of it's life sitting on.)

I have four different wall chargers, including two of this HP barrel adapter (one that came with the TouchPad, one that came with the Touchstone). With the supplied cable, it does charge the TouchPad very quickly. From webOS, the net charge rate is about 1.6 A with the screen on, so probably close to 2 A coming out the USB port.
However, when you plug a Note into this charger, the Note will still only draw 1 A. I have other AC chargers that are also able to supply 1 A to the Note, so in that respect this HP charger isn't anything special. However, it is only $5, which is a good deal.

I've found that the microUSB cable that comes with the Note, when paired with the HP TouchPad's AC charger, will supply 2 A. At least, that's what the OS reports: /sys/devices/platform/usb_gadget/current-mA shows "2000". Plugging the TouchPad into the Note's AC charger shows a value of "900". Plugging it into my laptop's USB port drops that value down to "500", as expected.
I bought two a week ago off Amazon for $10 each. $5 each with free shipping is a steal. I picked up three more. Thanks for posting this deal. I get 1A charging with either the stock charger or TP charger. I like to have a few extra chargers to sprinkle around at home or work (for my Note and the other devices I own that charge off USB.... including a TP).

When you charge your phone using this HP microUSB cable, do you have issue with NO DEEP SLEEP when unplugging the Note from the charger?
There has been issues reported in XDA where, depending on the USB cables used to charge the Note (connected to computer OR power charger), if you unplug the Note, it will not go DEEP SLEEP, causing significant power drain.
This does NOT happen when the Note is charged using the cable that came with the Note.
Download Current Widget from the play store. Add widget to home screen and you will realize that your phone is not charging any more than 1 amp as designed.
Try the usb out from your pc and you will see about half an amp.

I have the galaxy tab brick charger the HP touch pad charger and my note charging brick....the touchpad charger works faster...but I feel like it doesn't get fully charged..seems to die faster?. I used the galaxy tab brick...slow to charge warms my phone up nicely...I'd stick with the original note charger.

I charge my Note overnight using my Touchpad's MicroUSB cable plugged into the Samsung charger, and I don't experience any difference in power drain.
Where is that post from the guy who put all these petty arguments to rest with scientific tests of all the various options and results??
Good lord people it's a charger for a phone .. no need to get so heated!
(unlike my stock charger.. which gets very heated!)
great price!!!
ordered 3 of them
the price is way cheaper than just a single micro usb cable shipped from other stores
i have 3 already
1 at work, 2 for home.
definitely faster than OEM. I charge overnight, no issues. had for around 5-6 months now. and i can use the phone while charging.
fact is that it DOES charge faster.
i recommend it
WOW***
Great price I bought 2!

[Q] Battery issue

Hello everyone, after my battery discharged at 0% and the phone was off, I was no longer able to charge it with the connector.
Now it charged for all the night but the % is the same of yesterday. If I put it in charge in the external dock it works well.
I doubt it's the connector of the pèhone because until the battery was discharged it worked normally.
Till yesterday i used the Foxhound rom with Perseus kernel, now I use Revolution HD with stock kernel but nothing changed.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Battery voltage has dropped too low for standard charger to initiate charging, either obtain a special charger or replace your battery (cheaper).

[Q] Charging Current on different cables?

okay... i have the i9300 model.. and i've been charging my phone overnight using the stock cable and charger... recent days i noticed that my phone is taking 6 hrs to 8 hrs to charge a full hundred percent... so i coupled my charger with another good microusb cable and tried charging... and it got charged in 2hrs to a full... i tried different electricity ports in the house and still the same... to check the current.. i downloaded "galaxy charging current" from the playstore to check current drawn during charging and on the stock cable it shows 300 while with another usb cable it shows 1000... besides the stock samsung cable has 4 pins in the micro end,, while the normal one has 5 pins... why is it getting charged at 300? and why at 1000 on a normal cable?

Short story: YES
I have a cheap no-name 1-m extension cable that makes my phone charge at ~500 mA with the original charger, according to Battery Monitor Widget (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.bmw). I later bought a longer (2 m) extension from "Cables to Go" (Amazon), same length, and I get up to ~1500 mA. So there's your answer. I haven't tested it with a DMM to tell whether it's the data or power wires, though.
Yes, the calbe do matters. I suggest you to purchase Micro USB calbes from trusted mobile accessories shop. Last month,I purchased (flat type) micro usb cable from a computer shop, no matter if I put to charge for the whole day, it heats up my phone but doesn't charge even 1%. Buying the wrong and low quality cable can cause damage to your phone and battery.

What is the fastest charger for the S3?

I have an old 0.7A charger and was told that a 1A charger would be faster..
But how far higher can I go? Is there a 2A charger?

1A is stock for S3.
Maximum recommended is 1.5A,more may brick your whole device,if not the battery.

I guess using modified"boeffla or googymax " kernels will let your phone charge much faster
Maximum rating of the charger is irrelevant, the phone will only draw a safe amount. If you override that limit then you may blow the internal charging IC or rupture the battery.
Don't post questions in the general section.
The S3 can't charger faster than 1A, it will only draw what it can, I've used a HP Touchpad 2A charger since the day I got the phone, it still won't draw more than 1A. You can use custom kernals to draw more, but you'll find lots of stories of people who did it and fried the charging board.
I tested using 1.1Ah, and for the storioes I've read, it's the maximum value you can use with security.
Hi, you can have more than 1A, but you need to change the limit with boeffla (i made it for the USB charge)

Using 1.2A from months in boeffla kernel without any trouble, using stock charger.
I tried 2A once and it was fast (0-100 in 1hr) but its not recommended 1.5 max
Also I increased charging speed to 1600mah that time and it was working

Dramatically increasing charging current will also dramatically decrease battery service life
Just get a second battery and desktop cradle, instant recharging without any wear on the phone motherboard.

Hi, i am getting a new charger for my tablet pc which uses a 5.35V 2A output charger and was wondering whether i can use this to charge my galaxy S3. so that i do not have to carry 2 chargers?
IS it advisable?
My S3 came with a 1A charger, my wife's S3 came with a 2A charger. I used her charger a few times and it worked fine. As of last week my charger is working fine, if I use hers with my phone I only shows "USB" in the battery info and takes forever to charge. I don't know if her charger did damage to my phone/battery but that felt strange, so I stopped using her charger.
