I flashed gt-s7582 with a custom ROM, it contains only english and chinesse and hindi and other eastern languages :crying:

my sd card partition had to be deleted and data files cannot be moved to sd card

You might want to be more careful in checking your sources before posting for other people. Since this "ROM" is full of paid apks the links have been removed and the thread closed, as well as the thread in General.

Full screen wallpaper is gone.
I just flashed your rom. Before that i was on lunux os rom. I followed the procedure. You have this beautiful trick of full screen wallpaper. It was there at first. But after I recovered my setting and Apps through Titanium back up, it's gone. I want it back. Please help me.
After installing the rom, When I try to install the apks from my sd card, There was not any option to install it. Also on pressing the apk for a long time has no option to install it. Pls reply fast

The problem is that the dev claims that the kernel has some fault and has stopped the thread but this girl named sharmny(dnt rem crctly) claims to have tested the kernel and claims that it works so we dont actually know if it would work but i would suggest u to try it and plz tell us if it works.
And to answer ur question : i can say that it would work with a custom rom as sharmny had t3rom so you try it as a test but do take a nandroid backup before flashing anything.

The stock samsung kernel supports swap and ramexpanding so you can try it and i guarantee it will work as even now am using it

Download the stock rom from samsung and flash it using odin and after that try roehsoft ramexpander. It works for me so it should work for you if you are using samsung galaxy star duos gts5282. I have attached screen shots

do this kernel have custom recovery . coz in cant flash any ather recovery than cwm 5 in my s5282. whatever i flash doesnt overwrite the actual one
Download cwn 6.0.37 flashable zip in sdcard thn go to system/etc delete install recovery.sh and download zit flasher or flash Gordon & flash cwm mint zip(cwm 6.0.37)

Well, I too realized that the boot logo I created was not 'so cool', I prefer neatness.
Anyways, make sure to check the General Section soon as I will post the boot logo customizing utility and techniques and explain it.

Just extract base kernel zip and replace any image with same resolution(240×320) & same name(logo.jpg) den zip it & flash
I used picsay pro to edit image but make sure resolution is 240×320

Hey.. Great ROM buddy.. I had been using the optimus before this and this surely has given a new life to the phone!

I am sure you are already on it, but here are some of my observations:
- Few applications/ messages only show text in Chinese.. Eg: browser and MI Store
- A download accelerator named "Xunlei" keeps probing about activating it. I am not sure about its use sounds kind of creepy.
- RAM consumption is high.. but I guess that's normal for MI ROMs
- If I change the font size from the browser settings, complete text get garbled (small issue)
Nothing else I was able to find wrong with this.
Thankx again for this great ROM and I am eagerly waiting for the update!!
