LiquidSmooth 4.4.4 - AOKP Q&A

I want to disable Heads-Up-Notifications on my SGS3 running Liquidsmooth 4.4.4, but there is no option to do so in the settings. Can you help me?

Gahh... I came here to post the same question... I have the sleep timer disabled on the heads up and sometimes it doesn't show up.. But after a reboot they come back....

In case anyone finds this thread there's a setting for heads-up display in the messaging app

Lockscreen issues

Hi,
I've searched google and the forums in and out, and can't find anyone mention the bugs I see with the pattern/PIN lockscreen. I'm using CM9 (Nightly 20120611).
The problem begins when trying to temporarily deactivate the lockscreen, either by using the notification power widget, or by using apps which probably carry out the same OS function in order to deactivate it.
Settings -> Interface -> System -> Notification drawer -> Widget buttons -> Toggle lockscreen
Once deactivated, clicking any notification (be it an SMS, email, or any other) from the notification drawer causes the lockscreen to pop up out of nowhere, and from this moment on - it's back on, even though it's supposed to be deactivated, and the toggle is switched 'off'. Playing around with the toggle might bring the state back to normal, but down the line stranger things will happen, especially if playing with the lockscreen setting 'Show widgets before unlock' - for example the phone may unlock given any pattern/PIN, or the lockscreen toggle may become useless (no effect).
Has anyone else noticed this? Is this CM9 or ICS?
Thanks!

[Q] Heads Up & Peek Notifications

Has anyone been able to consistently have Heads up and Peek notifications working? I have downloaded an app for both, applied respected settings, and used xhalofloatingwindow alongside with heads up. But for some reason in settings/security/phoneadministrations it keeps changing my settings.. It unchecks heads up and peek notifications and rechecks lockscreen.. Which I don't want lockscreen to be checked because I don't want notifications popping up on my lockscreen..
Does anyone know how to get the settings in phone adm. to stick? Any help is appreciated.. I had to uninstall heads up and peek notifications because there was no use to keep going in and checking the boxes to allow it administrator rights.. But I do have xhalofloatingwindow working correctly for the most part, allowing me to open notifications in halo..
Thanks for the help!

[Q] Disabling heads up notifications on Lollipop

Hello,
I've updated my WhatsApp last night to v2.11.476 and it starts showing heads up notifications that, no matter what i try, unable to turn off. This only happens to individual chats though. Group chats still behave like before, i.e. icon just show up in the notification bar.
I also cant disable the vibrations no matter which settings i use. This is driving me nuts. Is there a way i can tun the heads up notifications off ONLY for specific apps? I suppose once I'm able to do this the problem with the vibrations will go off too.
Thanks.
With HeadsOff lollipop heads-up notifications can now be disabled!
No root needed.
You can also restore the ticker text in the statusbar!
Give it a try:

[Q] Disable HeadsUP Popup Notifications on Lollipop

Hey guys. Is there a way to completely disable heads-up notification that pops up on android lolllipop?
I know some apps can disable it (whatsapp plus could =[ ... )
Some custom ROMS, such as Resurrection Remix implemented a swich to completely disable the popups and show notifications just like android 4.4.4 and below.
Is there a way to disable them? Could be with root.
PLEASE!
I hate it! it shows on games, and even on CAMERA!
(i know about "priority mode", but it is not the same,.... i want to still get notified, without loosing part of the screen)
Hey Yuri, I'm with you. I'm also looking for a way to disable heads-up. Whatsapp's are the most annoying.

[Q] No Lockscreen Notifications in Lollipop?

OK, I see a few threads with similar questions (but no answers) on the boards of XDA, so going to ask this question.
My Xperia Z2 (BL locked, no root, running the stock Nordic Lollipop rom) doesn't show any notifications on the lock screen. My phone is PIN protected as that's a security requirement for my work Exchange e-mail account. But, even after removing my account (I thought some security setting was overriding the Android settings), I'm still not seeing any notifications on my lockscreen when I get an e-mail or text.
Is this just the way the ROM is? Or is there something wrong? I've gone through and double checked the notification settings after watching the Google help videos, but everything looks ok.
Thx,
Praz
UPDATE 4/7/15:
I just did a full reset and a fresh install of the U.S. 5.02 firmware. And from what I can tell, I'm still not getting lockscreen notifications on my Z2. I have my work e-mail on the phone; could it be that the corp security is disabling lockscreen notifications?
Anyone else having any issues w/ this?
I have just the same problem, have not been able to find any solution for this yet.
Someone else that have a solution?

Not sure - will mess w/ it some more later this week. Worst case, will do a reset to factory settings and see if the notifications show up. It's a little annoying right now to have neither status bar or the new style lockscreen notifications. But there aren't too many settings to screw it up, so I thought I'd check w/ you guys.
